From day until well after closing, he was on the ball, setting us up with the right mortgage people, the right inspector, handling details and even return trips to the property while we were back in Oregon, packing up to move. Fantastic experience: We were moving from Portland, OR to MI and a friend referred Mike Allen to us. From our very first communication he has been very prompt in returning calls, answering our questions and finding the answer if he didn’t know it on the spot. We flew in to look at houses and he was on it. He had set up showings for us based on information we gave him. As we looked he asked what we loved, liked and didn’t like…so he could narrow it down and not spend time on places that were a definite NO. I am very indecisive and he handled it like a champ. When my husband had to return to Portland, I stayed to keep looking. Mike picked me up everyday, always on time and we looked at houses till we found one. He helped us every step of the way and continues to help us even after we’ve moved in and are getting settled. Fantastic experience: Working with Mike was a great experience. As a first time home buyer I had no idea about what I wanted, where I wanted to be and how the process as a whole worked. He was patient as we traveled to different places and I figured out what I wanted. He was also honest about places that were not worth it, never tried to make a sale just to make a sale and always had ideas on how to help me see the potential of some. He explained to me the whole process once I found something. And when some negotiations had to be made I always felt comfortable with my choice because of his honest advice.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed working with Mike Allen of the MJA company immensely. He was selected out of a long list of people interested in buying my house for these reasons: he was incredibly respectful to me, while he was direct and earnest he was also low pressure, he came well prepared, offering three different ways we could work together which for me-secured his place in our arrangement. He was willing to simply list it, to wait until I made some improvements and then list it, or to buy it. Instead of sending me pages and pages of unwanted mail (that insinuates the recipient is some sort of fool) or having an assistant call on his behalf- he engaged with me directly, honestly, and in a timely manner. The reason Mike Allen got this deal is because he's a good guy not a shark pretending to be a good guy. I went to the Google ratings before choosing to go with him, before choosing to even speak to him past asking for his information. He has a good review and reputation because he works for it, without slandering others, as some have to me. If I have more property deals to do in Michigan I won't hesitate to give Mike a call. Absolutely recommended. Oh yes, and we closed very quickly without any hiccups.

He provided a comprehensive market analysis of the area, we didn't even realize how much we underestimated the market value of our house. He coached us how to prep the house, which aspects to pay more attention, and when was the right time to list it. We had two competing offers after only 4 days in the market. Eventually sold the house over asking price mostly because of Michel's coaching and advice. He would always answer our calls right away, spend time to answer in details all the questions we had and eventually drive the closure in timely and most advantageous way for us. We had three other real estate transactions in the past and by far Michael has been the best agent so far we had to deal with. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin? Michael went so far above and beyond on mine and my wife's first house. It took us a while to find the one for us, which I'm sure was a pain, but Michael was with us every step of the way, calling nearly daily to show us new listings, or just to make sure we were handling the stresses of buying our first house. Any time we needed him, he always was there with an answer and a smile, and not one of those fake smiles you see on the for sale signs. He really cares about his customers, and we could feel that. But to summarize, if you want someone in your corner who is truly fighting for you to get your dream home and not just to get a sale, He is the man for the job.
