Fantastic experience: Carolyn Gentry — ★★★★★ Carolyn made buying my first home a genuinely smooth experience. She was patient through every step and never made me feel like a hassle for asking questions. Partway through the process, we discovered a hidden issue with the property — Carolyn got it looked into right away and helped get it resolved instead of letting the deal fall apart. The house ended up appraising above the purchase price with no required repairs, which says a lot about how well she priced and negotiated the offer from the start. She also clearly knows the area inside and out — zoning, comparable sales, what a property is actually worth. I never felt like I was guessing at anything. I'm already settled into the house and couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a realtor who's responsive, knowledgeable, and actually handles problems instead of dodging them, I'd recommend Carolyn without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Recently purchased our first home through Zaya and couldn’t be happier! With this being our first home we didn’t even know where to start, Zaya was so helpful and educated in every aspect when it came to it. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He worked around mine and my husbands schedules to make sure we saw every home we wanted to! I highly recommend him and would use his services over and over again in the future! Everything went so smooth, we’ve already hired him to find my brother his dream home!

Fantastic experience: I could not have asked for a better realtor than Liz Essad at DOBI Real Estate. I've been trying to find a home for the last three years and used several different realtors that did not work out. Fortunately, I recently came across Liz as my realtor and she went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect home. Negative experience: I bought 9 properties with Alex (Rahaim Group) and the Dobi Team. Alex was initially great considering he was supposed to be my local expert in the area as I am out of state, however after struggling to sell 4 of the 9 properties that I bought I discovered major incompetence on Alex part after I switched to another team. One of the houses he told me was a 3 bd but it turns out the 3rd bed is a bonus room instead of an actual room which is why the house didn’t sell at the price we listed it for. I lost over $100k on another house he had a contractor walk for inspection but the contractor told me he never walked it but viewed the video Alex sent. Alex and Dobi was referred to me by my lender so they came with a bit of credibility because it was a referral however after going through this experience I would advise anyone to stay away especially if you are out of state. He was supposed to be a local expert and a project manager to make sure each property was renovated on time and the average time to list took 7 months no matter if the rehab was $19k or $100k they all took approximately 7 months to list.

Negative experience: This star is for you KELLY TAMER If it is less than one star, I will give it to you. Learn to talk to people Don't lie too much for money.

Fantastic experience: Working with Craig to buy our house was the best decision we made! He is so knowledgeable, and PROACTIVE which was something I was worried about when looking for realtors—having heard of stories of realtors not being on top of messaging selling agents, getting into open houses asap, especially in this market. Craig got us into the houses right when we needed, was in contact with selling agents immediately and with how quickly houses are flying, this was key! He constantly pointed out new homes that we might like, helped us be realistic with our budget and listened to our concerns. There’s so much to learn when home buying and Craig made it so easy and seamless to understand. Very honest & very helpful, it didn’t matter the time of day he was there to answer and help. The sky is the limit with Nick he will do whatever it takes to make sure your happy and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I bought a home through DOBI agent Lindsay Lawrie in January of 2023. Lindsay was an amazing asset throughout the entire home-buying process. When challenges came up during the deal (as they do) she would always present my fiancé and I with all of the information along with her opinion/recommendation on the matter, but would never make us feel forced or pressured into doing one thing or another. Bad real estate agents try to rush deals along to get to payday, but with Lindsay, I could feel the genuine care and attention she was giving to my deal. She was great at negotiating and always kept us informed and educated throughout the process. I can't recommend Lindsay enough!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Sharon K. in buying my house in 2019. She was always answering my questions no matter the time of day. Being a first time home buyer it was a stressful time, but she was always there to reassure me about the process. Then in 2021 I sold my house and moved. She was also my selling agent and the process was easy as before. She helped me set up the house and make it presentable. She helps her clients even when there isn't anything in it for her. If you need a buy or sell your house I would recommend Sharon Khousakoun 100%.

Negative experience: It's very clear to me that the culture at Dobi is to sell homes by any means necessary no matter who gets hurt along the way. Tracy made our home buying/selling a stressful and frustrating process. She tried to bully and pressure us into things we didn't want. Pressured us over and over to pull money from our 401k to make the deal work. She was rude and unprofessional to our loan officer for no reason. She blamed everyone around her when things went wrong, including us, but never took responsibility for anything. Her hostility and rudeness to our loan officer got so out of control at the end that my husband had to tell her to stop contacting him. The situation even put our loan in jeopardy of falling through. I met with the broker at Dobi after our terrible experience seeking compensation for everything that we went through. He was completely unsympathetic. He said that I signed a contract, my house sold, and it wasn't his problem that I "didn't like Tracy." There is no standard of excellence or moral code at Dobi. If you are treated badly and have to take matters into your own hands to make sure your deal closes, they don't care. Find literally any other agency to work with and you'll get better service. Or get your real estate license and sell your own home and you'll still have a better experience.

Fantastic experience: I am a realtor with DOBI real estate. I have been trained by the best and most progressive- minded agents and brokers of the local industry. Rebecca Sokol has been integral in my becoming a realtor. She became my real estate agent purely by chance 3 years ago and has, on countless occasions, taken time out of her extremely busy schedule to mentor me and troubleshoot professional challenges. She is truly a one of a kind professional. She has built her business through grit, merit and genuine care for her clients. I am proud to model my business after hers.

Negative experience: Son just purchased a home where this realty was the listing agency with Anthony Nucci as the listing agent. I have never walked into a dirtier home in my life. I don't believe the previous owners ever cleaned their refrigerator or kitchen sink while they lived there, All kinds of food left behind some of which is past expiration. Tons of mold in the bathroom tub/shower. The interior of kitchen cabinets are too dirty to even begin to try moving in. The fact that Anthony saw nothing wrong with this appalls me. Shame on him. In the future I would certainly avoid homes listed by this realty if this is a reflection of how they do business.

Fantastic experience: We just bought our home in the Birmingham areas and I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with DOBI - specifically Lauren and Doug from the Rahaim Group! My fiancée and I were navigating the home buying process for the first time and Lauren and Doug were the most knowledgeable, sincere, and helpful agents guiding us through the entire process. Their knowledge of the industry, transparency, honest and sincere perspectives, and expertise in the field were all qualities that made us feel beyond confident that we were in the right hands throughout the entire process. We knew, without a doubt, that Lauren and Doug had our best interest at heart the entire time. Navigating the first time home buying experience can be a very stressful process, especially given the current market conditions and real estate climate, but between Lauren's calming and confident presence and Doug's industry experience and diligent work ethic - we felt completely confident and comfortable the entire time. Fantastic experience: We closed on our new home in Rochester Hills here. Because of COVID-19 issues these people came right out to our car with clipboards and all the paperwork for me to sign right in my car. Appropriate masks and spacing. Explained everything about the paperwork, answered any questions about the process. Even the agents for us and the sellers were present to observe the process on our behalf and answer questions for us and the seller. This was the fourth time in my life dealing with buying or selling a home and all of the people needed were there and 1st class customer service and friendliness was exceptional. There needs to be a sixth star ⭐ here for how I was treated by all of the professionals present.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca Sokol a couple of months ago on the sale of my home and also the purchase of my condo. When I talked to her for the first time, it was like catching up with an old friend. Not only is she super responsive, but by her lovely disposition it is obvious that she genuinely loves being a realtor and working with people. She is so motivated and makes things happen - it was refreshing to work with a realtor with such a tireless attitude. The timing of my closings weren’t in sync and had to happen quickly so Rebecca personally called the owner of a large moving company in the area to help make arrangements for me - I really can’t thank her enough for all her hard work and will definitely refer her to family & friends!

Fantastic experience: We didn’t have any prior experience with Amy. Her number was listed at the bottom of the Zillow listing and we called simply to get the ball rolling on the research of a condo in Lake Orion. My wife and I have purchased several properties over the years and we have a couple of realtors we could have turned to. In the interest of speed and efficiency we clicked Amy’s link and within 4 hours we were inside the condo. An offer was made next day. 30 days later it is ours. Did I mention “speed and efficiency”? Even though the process moved swiftly, there were no errors. We got the property for the right price, at the right time and we credit Amy for that.... I’m digging deep but can’t find any fault.... we are happy to give Amy & her agency 5 stars. Solid representation every step of the way.
