Negative experience: Our experience was very similar to the reviews posted by SAL and Florida Living. My wife and I encountered many of the same problems. My advice to anyone considering working with this company is to obtain independent legal representation from the very beginning. Make sure someone is protecting your interests from the time the contract is signed through closing. Once the contract is signed, it may become extremely difficult and expensive to resolve problems afterward. Throughout the process, we experienced what we felt was misleading communication and a repeated failure to respond to serious concerns. For example, we raised several important issues weeks before closing, but we did not receive a meaningful response until the final day of the scheduled closing. We also never felt that our real estate agent truly represented our best interests. Both real estate agents appeared to have a close working relationship, which made us question whether we had proper independent representation. To make matters worse, the agents did not even appear for the first scheduled closing. As a result, we had to cancel the closing and reschedule it. This review reflects our personal experience. I have emails and text messages documenting the communication and events described above. If Flamingo would like the complete story, I am prepared to provide the full details and supporting documentation.

Negative experience: We were dealing with an agent named Roy. He sent a different agent to show us the home he had listed. Months later we still have unanswered questions from him. We tried to proceed forward with other homes with Roy, however he never had time to show us any and every question seemed to be a huge bother to him. We never got straight forward answers or when we did the answers were vague, or simply made up after doing our own research. I’m not sure how this company does as a whole, but I would not recommend ever using the agent there named Roy. He never took the time to properly communicate, everything seemed rushed, no thought was put in for our time or inconvenience of showing time changes. It seemed as though as if we wanted to see the home we must meet Roy’s timeline. I would caution anyone to do business with the agent named Roy!

Negative experience: I was dealing with an individual that I will not mention this does not reflect the whole company as a whole. I just hope this person understands that they can’t be rude And the lack of communication really displeases me to the point where I am not going with them as a realtor anymore

Fantastic experience: Leesa and Robbie were wonderful to work with. Leesa did a great job of supporting us through the inspection process and assisting with getting some of the punch list items resolved quickly to ensure there were no delays. She was great with our buyers as well and was incredibly professional and easy to work with. Thank you to the Flamingo team for your support.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed in the way I was treated in a house that I wanted to purchase, the realtor that listed the home was Robbie Shoemaker, however we had to deal with someone else, her name is Lessa I was able to get the contract which was a headache, then after she called my lender and my realtor constantly to see how fast we can close, she had me in tears. I spent money on the appraisal, inspection and hotels coming up to Oxford, I had till the 28th of June to close but she kept telling us that if we didn’t cancel the contract that we would lose our deposit because she was not going to give us an extension. She forced us to cancel our contract and would tell us several times that there were other offers. I did a job transfer and now I’m living in an Airbnb. She is not a very good person, she bullied us for 20 something days until we had to cancel. I couldn’t believe I was treated that way. I was 100% going to close on the house but she tried everything for us to cancel. She called my lender so many times to say that we needed to close faster that he started to no answer her phone calls, I am still interested in purchasing this home. However with Leesa as the realtor I know it will never happen.

Fantastic experience: I was from out of state and contacted Stephen Doggett after reading his positive reviews and reached out to him regarding selling our home. He was quick to respond to all my questions and even sent me an current market analysis quickly. My experience with Stephen was the best, he is so pleasant, understanding and communicated every detail thoughout the whole selling process. He is very knowledgeable about the real estate market and was able to get our home sold quickly and handled every detail. We are so Blessed and Thankful for all his hard work. Highly recommended

Negative experience: So we had the unpleasant experience in renting from owners that used flamingo to manage their property. I spoke at length with the owners the last day we were in the house and they were equally disappointed. Do yourself a favor and do not use them as the owner or tenant. Unresponsive to my emails without having to send it again. In fact there is still a question that has gone unanswered even after a month of being gone. workers showing up either without notice or flamingo was late to let them in. Many many issues with these people. Horrible people just out to take money from hard working people. Such a disgrace.

After the sale he gave us tickets to treat our family of 4 to a florida gator baseball game!!!! His expertise in the real estate market is top notch and he will be my go to realtor from here on out! Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to work with Stephen Doggett to sell my family’s property in Wildwood, FL and it was truly a pleasure. I live out-of-state so it was crucial for me to have a local real estate expert with boots on the ground who understands the Central Florida market and who could advise me throughout the selling process. From our first phone conversation, I knew Stephen had my family’s best interests in mind. Before the house even hit the MLS, Stephen was in contact with clients he knew who might be interested buyers. As soon as the property went live, interest really picked up! Stephen was in contact with me several times a day to share how the property was showing, to ask questions for potential buyers, and to keep me updated on the next day’s appointments. I never felt out-of-the-loop, despite living 500 miles away. Stephen’s transparent communication was so reassuring. Whenever I had a question, Stephen either answered his phone immediately or called me back within the hour. But usually he was calling or texting me with updates before I even had the chance to worry about anything. Thanks to Stephen’s hard work, we received 5 offers on my family’s property after only 4 days on the MLS. We accepted an offer $20K over asking price and could not have been more pleased with the final sale price and the quick turnaround. Stephen even met us at the closing, which I’m sure was not required, but his support on that day put a happy punctuation mark at the end of an already wonderful home-selling experience. Working with Stephen surpassed our expectations in every way!

In this hot housing market we found our perfect home and closed in less than 30 days. He went above and beyond and we couldn't have been happier with entire process. Highly recommend Brad and Flamingo Real Estate.

Positive experience: Nice people but my issues were the fees charged before & after renting. Over $100 just for them to clean the mobile home before we are allowed to move in & on top of that we had to clean the house in order for our furniture to be moved in due to the house not being anywhere near clean. There are over 15 issues including electrical which is very dangerous & could cause a fire.

Negative experience: Promise to call back but never did. We called again and left message and still never heard from them. Huge disappointed.

Negative experience: This man took $500 from me to sell my timeshare in Humacau Puerto Rico. He never contacted me with updates. I couldn't even find the listing. This realtor is a thief. I want my $500 back. I saw an article that he is takes advantage of people, steals their money, does not have any morals. REMEMBER FLAMINGO REALTY These timeshare Companies make money even when u can't pay. They rent it to someone else while putting a lien on your personal property trying to get paid multiple times. DO NOT BUY A TIMESHARE TRAP AND STAY AWAY FROM FLAMINGO REALITY. Rent someone else's timeshare who couldn't pay via Air B & B.

Fantastic experience: We wanted to move to Florida after residing in Califorina for years. Robbie was recommended by relatives who had worked with him for their real estate needs in the past. After locating an area that we liked, Robbie met my wife (while I stayed in California) and took her to numerous locations. Donna felt very comfortable being with him, as he was patient and extremely accommodating to her needs, likes and dislikes. They spent long days looking at house after house and found the perfect location. They had to move fast due to the market at the time (which caused a lot of pressure) and our offer was excepted. Robbie and his assitant Gidget then took the reins for us and handled all the necessary steps involved in the purchase, as Donna had to return to California. Gidget kept us posted via emails and phone calls and clearly explained all of the details involved. They both went above and beyond what one would expect from a real estate office. Upon completing the purchase, Robbie and Gidget actually made sure our new home was secure, clean and safe, as we still had to make the move. Upon our arrival very late at night, we could not have been more pleased and surprised! We had a beautiful door mat at the front door and a very nice card on a counter top. I can not say enough how very pleased and grateful my wife and I are to have had Flamingo Real Estate handle our affairs with our home purchase.
