Negative experience: Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with this company. We had sent an application and scheduled a tour yesterday. We went to the tour and the showing manager was late. She didn’t introduce herself and wouldn’t conversate with us. We were very excited to see the property. When we told her we weren’t married yet (we get married in two months and have a baby), she basically laughed and said they would run us as roomates on the application so we both need to make 3x the rent. My fiance does alone. I’m a stay at home mom so she instantly denied us by discrimination.

We sought out A+'s property management services as we were in a career situation in which we had to move from the area and rent out our primary home – which was a new build home, and which we loved! Brenda & Keith have understood that our home is not just a rental to us and feel they have not only gone above and beyond in providing us comprehensive services, but also in finding the type of renters that will respect our home as their own. This has resulted in an excellent relationship for us with A+. A+ has managed our property for 3 yrs and we have been very happy with their: professionalism, promptness, knowledge of the industry, and ease to work with! We would not hesitate to highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I wanted to like them based on all the reviews but they were not honest. They processed my application for a house and kept giving me the run around. They said they would keep me informed if two new rentals hitting the market soon. I emailed, called, and texted. Nothing. Then all of a sudden everything was rented. After a dozen of phone calls, rude attitudes from the staff, several emails, $80 lost, and a number of texts, I went with another company that got my application ran and approved and I was moving in a few days later.

Fantastic experience: I have been renting through A+ for two years now. So happy with them. They treat us like humans and are always so kind and understanding. Love working with them. They have redeemed my faith in property management companies in our area helping us to know there’s goodness in some of them. Highly recommended by me and our family.

Fantastic experience: Keith is great to deal with. Pay him your rent and he leaves you alone. I would definitely rent from this company again.

Negative experience: Totally neglected the property until right before the owner visits. Ignored multiple requests to clean the back yard. My neighbors finally came and helped haul off debris from the trees in the yard. I could name very specific items that were just plain wrong but choose not to stoop to their level. If you rent from them I would suggest you document EVERYTHING.

Negative experience: I am a property manager for some folks who purchased a multi-family building in Post Falls that was being managed by A+. After the sale of the building, A+ auto-debited the next month's rent from a tenant, even though they were no longer managing the property. Then, when the new owners and the tenant tried to contact A+ to get their rent refunded, they couldn't get ahold of anyone (still haven't, actually). Sleazy move, A+.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this company. Since moving here from Portland three years ago, we have had nothing but nightmare experiences with property management companies (literal horror stories). Finding this company was a breath of fresh air. Brenda is the kindest, most amazing person and made the application and rental process so easy (a huge bonus because we are in the middle of a pandemic and I have a very busy toddler). We got the keys to our first HOUSE yesterday, and am already dreaming of all the memories we will make here. We can already tell how well they take care of their homes, and look forward to being tenants with them. This is the first time in 3 years where I have felt like I am HOME. THANK YOU for being so wonderful!! We are forever grateful!!!!!

They were very understanding of my situation and worked with me to transfer my lease to someone else who was also in a life transition. They worked with me and I received my full deposit back (besides the obvious carpet cleaning fee) I would rent through this company again in a heartbeat.

Negative experience: This week, we submitted 2 applications for 2 different rental properties. One of them I had called to ask about it and it was still available. We had submitted inquiry emails and no one responded, so we called and then applied to 2 different properties. So far so good and we were told on one of them, a decision would be made soon by the owner. No problem. Until a few days later- no one answers the phone, and no one will return voicemails. I called for 2 days to ask about both properties- no returned calls. So I call twice in a row today and got through to the same gal I spoke to on Monday.... yeah, one of the rental properties was rented out 2 days ago and no clue about the other one. I completely understand other people applied first and whatnot..... and I totally get we won’t get every rental we apply for. But for goodness sakes- at least tell people when a property is no longer available. Had I not called about one of the properties today, who knows when they would’ve told me ‘oh by the way, it’s rented already.” And like I said, I’m still waiting on a second property, but not holding my breath that they will ever get back to us. There are other property management companies in the area that are very transparent and possess exceptional communication skills- this company, in my experience, does not. And I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience. If you’re also not going to bother to process our application, an application fee refund would be appreciated. Again, not holding my breath on this one.

Fantastic experience: A+ Property Managers is a great company to work with. They resolve any maintenance issues in a very timely manner. Their online portal is simple and easy to use. Keith answered any questions we had very thoroughly. Our best interest was always his priority. I would recommend them to anyone looking for property managers.

Negative experience: My experience renting from them was less than ideal. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone when there was an issue. When I was able to move out they failed to put the electricity service in their name. Instead they just called and reinstated service in my name. I recently received an electricity bill for a six month time period that I was not living there in the amount of $400. Of coarse they are taking every action they can to avoid this payment. Use caution when possibly renting from them.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually leave reviews but I've been with A+ for almost 5 years and they deserve it. I've never had a rental agency before that cares about you as a person like they do. A+ knows you by name, you can ask questions whenever you need too, they understand life's ups and downs with today's job market, they work with you if need be, they have nice rentals, and they are just good people. I have and will recommend them %. So a huge thank you to A+ !!! Keep up the good work it is very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Brenda Hilleary at A+ Properties has gone above and beyond for us on more than one occasion. She was our agent when we bought our house and then helped us rent it when we moved out of the area. She’s was extremely prompt with filing various paperwork, incredibly professional when working with other agents or tenants on our behalf, was responsive whenever we called or emailed her with a need, provided us regular updates in both the buying and renting of our house, and just made both processes significantly less stressful for us. There is no one else we would recommend working with in the CDA area if you are in the market for buying, selling, or renting. She’s just the best. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Best property management company in town! As renters, we were used to having management companies that LOOKED for issues when you moved out. We were also used to 'micro-managers' who were always in our business. This company leaves you alone (unless you need them), treats you with respect, honors both the renters and the owners (uncommon!), and understands that life happens. They work with you, are flexible, and all-around awesome people. Thank you, A+. If we ever have to rent again, you will be our go-to company.

Negative experience: They will rent to people regardless of references. They rent a house on Woodvine Drive in Hayden which is surrounded by home owners. This particular rental looks like a shanty. The yard is full of weeds; overgrown; underwatered; and pitiful. It’s a sight for sore eyes. It’s a shame that the owners aren’t aware. Time to call the CC&R directors. That’s next. A+ property management does not care about their rentals long term; only, the money!!!!

Fantastic experience: This company is helping my elderly father with his rental property. The owner has been so kind and patient because my Dad can be hard to work with! They have gone out their way to help answer all my Dad’s questions and even came over to help with small electrical problems with the rental without charging him. Super impressed.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with the great people at A+ Property Managers since they first opened their business. As a landlord they have been wonderful to work with. Communication is great and they keep me up to date on the market in general and my home in particular. If you are looking for a property manager for your investment home, look no farther. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My family and I rented from A+ when we moved to CDA about 5 years ago. I really felt like they cared about who we were and what our family was like more than our credit score alone. Other agencies we had contacted wanted us to jump through seemingly impossible hoops, being that we lived in another state. Keith, however, took the time over the phone to get to know us and if we would be a good fit. Now I am currently a vendor for A+. I have done work for other rental agencies in the past and swore I never would again. Working for A+ has been markedly different. They give me the flexibility to do what needs to be done as opposed to trying to save money. I am just as happy working for/with them as I was renting from them.

Fantastic experience: We have been with them since Oct 2017. They been the best property management company, that we have dealt with. They always get back to you, in a very timely matter. When you call or text them they're always there to help you with any situation or problem that you have. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who asked about a rental company.

Fantastic experience: We came up to the post falls area looking for a place to rent, after contacting several companies, A+ Property Managers was able to find us a rental! It was in our price range and in the location we wanted. They are very professional and friendly. They worked hard and got us into our home within a few days. I would recommend them to other renters and property managers alike. The home we moved into is very well taken care of.

Negative experience: By far the WORST rental company I have ever dealt with!!!! They very rarely answer the phone or respond to messages. My boyfriend and I applied for a home they had listed ($80 in application fees) and waited days before hearing anything and when they did finally answer the phone they said “the owners of the home went with other renters” she then said my application fees would be returned as stated on their website but that never happened! I called and text multiple times after a few weeks went by and the fee wasn’t returned and no answer or response to my messages. Brenda has horrible customer service and I highly recommend not working with this company!

Negative experience: We have been looking for properties in the Rathdrum area for some time, and found this company had listed a couple of their properties on Trulia and also on their website. My husband called to set up an appointment to see the property in which case he was told they were only placed on Trulia to get the current occupants to reapply... and they were actually not available. He then asked how this was ethical, he was hung up on. I would not do business with this company if they were the only rental company in the area!!!

Negative experience: If you love zero communication, and don't mind the home your renting to be trashed then this is the company for you! I advise caution when renting your home through this company!! My experience was horrendous! We recently updated our rental and put it through A+ Property Management and now have to replace the carpets AGAIN and have it repainted AGAIN not to mention all the garbage and landscaping we have to redo. I also know someone else who rented through them and had a similar experience. Beware!
