Negative experience: Diana left an unwarranted, accusatory comment on one of my business ads, implying misconduct without knowing anything about me, my business, or how we operate. That level of carelessness and unprofessionalism from a Realtor, let alone a licensed broker is alarming. If this is how she treats strangers, I would be extremely cautious working with her. If this is the standard realtors are held to, especially this brokerage. I would be concerned.

Fantastic experience: Rachael Shelley was more than helpful in finding us a home in North Idaho. She was extremely honest, upfront, and was able to find us a great home that fit right in our price range! She was extremely communicative and easy to reach to answer any of our questions at all times. Negative experience: Do not use Darren miller, he is not a professional agent all. Any agent who has a big huge picture of themselves on a wood framed sign on the street, should have been a red flag not to contact him. A piece of advice for this agent and others, you never know who is emailing you or calling you. Always treat the other person on the other line with respect no matter what the question is. You will never know , that when you are rude to them that you just lost a multi million dollar sale all over a simple question that you rudely answered with. Also they will now take their clients to a professional agent that will answer with respect

Fantastic experience: My wife Susan & I were looking to relocate from St. Maries to the Couer d'alene area. And I was personally interested in Leisure Park. We had not listed our house yet but we talked to some area agents but no one really picked up on us. My wife started talking with Tyler Bonner online & he just rolled .with it. Suddenly we were motivated to list our house & every week my wife would email a list of homes she would like to look at & we would try to schedule a day we could get together. He drove to quite a lot of homes and gave us virtual tours as we weren't able to be in the area at the time we needed to buy a home. Negative experience: I bought a house in Hayden from this brokerage. It was over a million dollars. The listing agent represented the seller and myself as the buyer. The transaction went smoothly until the very end. Upon closing I noticed that the sellers had removed all of the attached cabinets in the shop. They also left several truck loads of garbage behind the shop which the agent was unwilling to address. The agent tried to assist me by telling me to get quotes for new cabinets. I did so and the quotes were over $7000. The agent offered me $500 as compensation for the missing cabinets. After negotiation I took them to small claims and the judge sided with Shcniedmiller Realty and I was awarded nothing. The judge told me I should be going after the previous owner for the money as the brokerage did not sign the sales contract. The signatures on the contract were myself and the seller. So what is the point of a realtor if she can’t handle a smooth and fair transaction? I was left with no cabinets and truck loads of garbage on the property. The agent and brokerage owner were quite happy they did not have to compensate me anything. They were paid over $78,000 in commissions on the deal. I have bought and sold many homes and this was a very unfortunate and unprofessional transaction. I will definitely not use this company again and will never ever recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Shawn Fortune was really easy to work with. He made it a priority to accommodate our wishes and found a buyer for our property in a short amount of time. He went above and beyond and still is. He is easy to work with and really cares about people. Easiest decision we made was working with Shawn.

Negative experience: Lincoln Hill has been calling us for MONTHS asking us to let him represent our home. We have told him no repeatedly, and yet he continues to call. Badgering is NOT how you should do business!

Rob was fast, responsive, communicated brilliantly between us, listing agents, bank, etc and was very informative. We are now happily in our first home and are thankful that Rob was part of the experience. He has our highest recommendation. If you get a chance to work with Rob, don't miss out!

Positive experience: They were very helpful and polite it was a little difficult to find I believe it is in the downstairs of Coldwell banker on the corner of Northwest and Lakewood straight across the street from McDonald's, you enter just passed the white car in front of the gray truck on the downstairs it's a little side door that's pretty hard to see.

Negative experience: I manage a 55+ community where each resident owns their own Manufactured Home. Darren Miller and Jacob Fortenberry decided to purchase a home in here and flip it. We require all potential tenants to fill out and be pre-approved before any sale can finalize. Mr. Miller and Mr. Fortenberry in their haste to sell the home did not inform the buyer that they needed to do this. I received the application on Friday, by the time I got to the office this morning I had 7 missed calls from Mr. Miller and 3 messages, asking why I was not at work, and that I was holding up a 100k sale. I called Mr. Miller back so that I could explain that I had just received the application on Friday and that it takes two business days. He was rude and pushy and kept telling me that now they had to do another addendum and that I was holding up the sale and it would be my fault if they lost the sale. And this is a local realtor?? I wonder if he treats other people involved in a sale like this or only when he is the owner/seller of the home and he wants his money. I would never use a realtor that has this type of attitude and disrespect, and are only out to fill their pockets

Fantastic experience: Anthony was very professional through our entire home buying process. He was easy to talk to and get ahold of. When issues arose, Anthony was quick to utilize the resources of his real estate team to help figure out a solution. If it wasn't for Anthony's persistence we would have never gotten this house. Negative experience: This company cold called my in laws (who dont even live in this state!) OUT OF THE BLUE and woke up my husband who works 12 hours on night shift, freaked us all out because they looked up our relatives information just for a dng cold call about selling our home that we cancelled listing! I'll never go with them very invasive!

Negative experience: Worst Experience in my 55 years. We were unlucky enough to have Diane from here as the Selling agent on a recent transaction. It is almost impossible to describe how horrible and stressful our buying experience was. From her not presenting offers to her clients (saying that our offer was unacceptable) to NOT following up with her clients to correct inspection items that the CLIENTS said they would fix prior to closing. There is so much more. Such as NOT providing the BUYERS the keys at closing and making us go to another office to retrieve them later in the day. Since her clients are elderly it was obvious that she was not providing sound advice or looking out for them every step of the way. The agent was in AZ most of the time and her back-up was in Mexico on the day of closing so no one was there to represent the sellers which is not very customer service focused. Also the agents broker never intervened to help resolve the issues nor reach out to say how sorry he was for the agents who work under his name. Please stay away if possible from Coldwell Banker as i do not want anyone else to run into the same or other issues.

Negative experience: I called on a referral from Sandpoint Century 21 agent...big mistake..my listing agent was sweet at first, but by the end of sale..she didn’t show up for closing to explain anything, then found out she made promises to the buyers without even telling me...I’m not saying all agents are bad, but I would really do my home work first. I didn’t realize that it was against the law to go outside of Sandpoint for an agent...or your house gets black balled from being shown, nor did I know how dishonest agents really can be. I’ve had 4 different agents now...and they can be very dishonest...I would try to do sell by owner next time if at all possible....

Fantastic experience: Realtor Frank Durham is very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and willing to step into anything.

Negative experience: Received a phone call and as soon as I picked up, the call was disconnected. Called back and was told the sales staff at Coldwell does "cold calls" in the mornings. While this is common sales practice, it's also annoying to the person receiving the call and is bordering on spam when unsolicited.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience. Professional and the best real estate brokerage in North Idaho.

Negative experience: You'll notice there is a review from Rob Brickett; don't trust this... He works or worked at CB Schneidmiller Realty and not an actual reviewer. This is how this company operates. For instance, they act as the buyer's agent looking out for your best interest when in reality they know or own the property they're selling and end up arguing on the behalf of the seller. You'll find out that they sit on the Board of Directors for the HOA of the property you're trying to purchase. Check out BBB site on them, someone else had a run in with them having special relationships with a home builder. These people are in it for the money and nothing else.

Fantastic experience: Fred Sharp was just fantastic. As first time homebuyers my husband and I had a lot of questions. Fred answered all our questions promptly, clearly and went out of his way to help us find a home. We highly recommend him!!

Negative experience: Kathleen Tillman is the buyers agent and has not done her job in a timely manner. We were pushed at the beginning to make seller decisions in less than 24 hours on more than one occasion. Then on our closing date we were informed by our agent and the lending institution that closing would not happen because it took 16 days, from signing of the counter offer agreement, for the lending institution to get paper work from the buyer, when it was Kathleen's responsibility to get the paperwork to the lending institution the following day. We were promised a new closing date, and due to the buyer being on vacation there would be another delay again because she would not track them down to sign papers in a timely manor. Yet we have been expected to make concessions in our schedule to expedite things. She is expecting 100% commission but has not provided 100% on her part. Maybe, she has provided 30% on her part.

Fantastic experience: We have been working with Matt Emerson at this Coldwell Banker location and highly recommend him for anyone looking to buy property in the Coeur D'Alene area. He has provided outstanding service from the search through the closing. We relied on his great knowledge of the area and experience as an agent. I can't say enough positive things about Matt. Thanks, Matt, for helping us buy our house here!
