Fantastic experience: Lake CDA Property Management is the best! My experiences with Property Managers Ashley primarily and Seth secondarily have been amazing. The stand outs for me are her communication and follow through which I am big on. She sets the bar high and addresses issues very promptly. It's hard to find that these days. I always look forward to working with Lake CDA Property Management.

The Lake CDA team is extremely responsive and has excellent follow through. Negative experience: I've rented through Lake CDA Property Management for several years. When I rented my current home, the listing advertised private RV parking. The property was delivered that way, and I had exclusive use of the parking for the beginning of my lease. A couple of months into my fixed-term lease, I noticed vehicles parked in the RV space. When I contacted management I was told they had decided to divide the RV parking into two separate spaces and lease them to other tenants for $100 per month each. No warning, no discussion. When I pointed out that the RV parking was part of what had been advertised with the rental, I was initially told it wasn't part of my lease. After I referenced the original listing, management acknowledged that the RV parking had been offered as an amenity with the unit, but maintained that a lease provision allowing them to "regulate the time, manner, and place of parking" permitted the change. After additional discussion and pointing out that "regulating" isn't the same as permanent removal, their solution was to permanently split the original RV parking area, allow me to use one of the two new spaces at no additional chage, and continue leasing the other half to another tenant. Then the owner of Lake CDA Property Management later called me. During that conversation, she confirmed to me that if I had been actively using the entire RV parking area before the new tenants moved in, it would not have been divided, and that my unit was the only one advertised with RV parking. Finally when asked if my RV parking would be restored, I was told it was impossible. My lease doesn't have a provision for RV parking and they have already amended the new tenants lease with the parking space. Overall, I am disappointed in everyone involved. The company, the employees, and the property owner. For years, I have never caused any issues, always paid my rent on time, been nothing but amenablem. Every step of the way trying to address this I got push back, underhanded tactics, and treated like I was causing the problems. All this for an additional $2,000, now $1000, in profit. Prospective tenants should carefully compare the listing, the lease, and any amenities they expect to receive, and get anything important confirmed in writing. Family owned and operated isn't a boon anymore, it's a buzzword.

Fantastic experience: Lake CDA Property Management/Colton and Hannah have done an exceptional job managing our rental properties. They offer great customer service as well as on going communication. They definitely take a proactive approach to property management, which we really appreciate as this is not the case with all property managers. I would highly recommend them for both owners needing management and renters looking for a home.

Negative experience: Would have been fine if they didn't make it seem like we needed to leave earlier. We were out the 22nd instead of the 30th because they wanted the place available for new tenants. I told them that was fine as long as we got our deposit. Instead they stopped communicating with us, did a walkthrough after the fact, then deducted $300 for cleaning despite us cleaning heavily. Basically they didn't give us an opportunity to fix any issues because they didn't want to do a walk-through until after the fact. Seems kind of underhanded.

Negative experience: Actively attempting to steal my entire security deposit, so unfortunately I’ll be suing. Pipe burst and left us with half of our house. Rather than fix quickly, they drug out the process for 9.5 weeks, up until we moved out. Followed all of the instructions listed in our lease for moving out early, and was told AFTER i moved out that they would be keeping my entire security deposit for “breaking the lease,” even though it was already re-rented. Absolutely nothing in my lease states they can keep the security deposit for that, but they’re doing it anyway. Truly the definition of wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Negative experience: Pipe burst flooding our basement and left us with half of our house. Rather than fix quickly, they drug out the process for 9.5 weeks, even past the time we moved out, electing section 8 which states we can terminate if construction were to persist more than 3 days. Followed all of the instructions listed in our lease for moving out early, and was told AFTER i moved out that they would be keeping my entire security deposit. They are mad that we did not buy the home off of them. Be careful with how nice they seem. They will discard you when you are no longer financially beneficial to them. We will be taking them to court.

Fantastic experience: Hannah goes above and beyond in helping with any issues or concerns that may arise. When the property was purchased and Lake CDA property mgmt took over management, all of our concerns were addressed and taken care of. I know I can call anytime and she will answer immediately. Fantastic experience: We have been travel nursing now for nearly 3 years and this still stands out as the best property we have stayed in. Colton and Hannah made us feel we were at home from the moment we stepped in. Even being in a basement, the space and layout made it feel like you were in a stand-alone home. Everything from the furniture to the linens down to the dishes felt like high quality items. The location is maybe a 5 minute drive from the lake along with all of our favorite bars and restaurants in downtown CDA - The hospital and grocery stores are even closer. Colton and Hannah were attentive and communicative throughout our entire stay. They provided a level of care that we have not experienced with any other short/mid term housing. We feel very lucky to have met them and been able to enjoy such a beautiful home in CDA.

Fantastic experience: Colton and Hannah made our stay in Coeur d’Alene so great! We came to our new furnished apartment for the next 9 months with a bottle of champagne and two glasses waiting for us! The location is perfect and close to everything CDA has to offer. If we had any issues, they immediately did what they could to solve it. The decor was bright and so inviting. The furniture was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend working with Lake CDA Property Management to manage your home needs.

Fantastic experience: I rented a home from Lake CDA property management between June 2021 and December 2022, so just about 1.5 years. It was a very good experience. Hannah and Colton were always very responsive to anything we needed and also were very flexible with us as we shopped for a home and had to change our move out date a time or two. They are accommodating, professional, kind, and very fair. Honestly the best landlords I have ever had in a rental and I would rent from them again in a heartbeat. Truly.
