Fantastic experience: I've been a resident at Parkhill City for over a year. My family and I have had a wonderful stay; it's the first apartment we've rented after moving to the US. The staff - including the Property Managers, Package Delivery coordinators, and front desk staff - are all very cordial and agreeable. I would highly recommend my building to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Jamaica, Queens, NY.

Fantastic experience: I’ve truly enjoyed living in this building. It’s clean, quiet, and very well maintained, and you can tell that management genuinely cares about the property and the people who live here. The staff is always friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever anything comes up. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, which makes a big difference. I also appreciate how safe and welcoming the building feels. The location is another huge plus—everything you need is nearby, and getting around the city is easy. Finding a place that feels like home isn’t always easy, but this building has exceeded my expectations. Fantastic experience: Great management. I lost my keys and within less then 24 hours they helped me secure a new set of keys. They have a 24 hour emergency line that was very helpful.

Negative experience: These people are slumlords - DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They hire the cheapest and worst service to fix issues and will fight you at every turn. My apartment has been infested with roaches for 3 years without any resolution from them.

Fantastic experience: This is the safest build I have ever lived in and I believe that all apartments building should function this way, to protect the safety of all it’s tenant! The landlord and staff are super reliable and always here to help at a moments notice.

Fantastic experience: Today I was locked out of my room. I waited in the lobby for a manager and they took very well care of me. Usually you have to pay for a common lockout but they blessed us today so we didn’t have to worry about paying when not having the money to. They do actually care about their tenants and it shows. Thanks management!!!

Fantastic experience: Moving to a new apartment in NYC is usually a nightmare — but 19 Rockwell and Plaza Management completely changed that expectation for me. From day one, Medina at the front desk made me feel like I wasn’t just a tenant but an actual neighbor. She remembered my name within the first week, always has a warm smile, and genuinely goes out of her way to be helpful. That kind of personal touch is rare in this city. Albert, our Super, is everything you hope for in a super and more. He’s responsive, thorough, and clearly takes real pride in the building. Every request I’ve had has been handled quickly and with care — no chasing, no follow-ups needed. The whole move-in process was smooth, the building is well-maintained, and you can tell the management actually cares about the people living here.

Fantastic experience: Plaza management and its staff at 19 Rockwell are excellent. They make the move in process extremely easy. All my questions have been answered and was provided with assistance as needed. Medina was also exceptional she made sure everything at move in day was done with ease. I also had the chance to work with Narina, she was amazing! She would get back to me instantly, she was able to go above and beyond in order for me to move in, I have not met someone like her who made sure everything was done fairly. It’s been awesome working with this team!

Negative experience: I had no problems living at 542 Saint Marks until I vacated. From there on out it has been a disaster. First, I was told I had to pay a $250 "move out fee" which is no where in the lease. Secondly. I vacated the apartment on 2/14/26 and when I FINALLY received my security deposit back 4/1/26 it BOUNCED. Since then, I have had little to no communication to tell me how they will give me my money. All I want is my security deposit back and to be completely done with this business. I would be very cautious to be pursuing an apartment with a management company that doesn't even have proper funds to pay a security deposit.

Plaza Management has, by far, been the most professional and reliable I’ve experienced. Fantastic experience: The entire 19 Rockwell team has been amazing! From our first tour, Narina went above and beyond to guide us through the application process. She was incredibly responsive, warm, and personable. The front desk staff, Medina and Aida, are just as kind and helpful (and have quickly become our pups' favorite people). Additionally, Albert, the building’s Super, is proactive and quick to address any issues that have come up (all minor). We moved here after five years at our previous building and were hesitant about finding that same level of comfort again. The building is beautiful, but the welcoming staff is what really makes it feel like home. We are so happy to be here!

Negative experience: Update: I finally got my deposit back 8 MONTHS after moving out. This took me filing a claim with the attorney generals office. The first check they sent also got bounced because of insufficient funds. Stay away from Plaza Management. Getting things fixed or management to respond was impossible. It's been four months since I've moved out and they have not returned my deposit. Upon moving into 542 Saint Marks, there were a number of issues with my apartment like a broken washer and dryer, weird smell coming from AC, water leaking from the refrigerator, just to name a few. They took over 6 months to repair the washer and dryer, while still charging me the washer dryer fee. Additionally, I had water leak through the walls of the apartment from the unit next door one night and could not get ahold of anyone.

Fantastic experience: The building stands out for its excellent management and consistent maintenance. The infrastructure is modern, safe, and functional, reflecting an organized and efficient administration. The common areas are kept in optimal condition. Highly recommended.

They are all quick to help and go above and beyond to make sure any problems get fixed. They've made our move significantly easier and are genuinely friendly people. Fantastic experience: This is the complaint that manages my apartment and out of all the apartments I’ve ever lived in they have been the best. Any inconvenience I’ve had been addressed expeditiously and they are only a phone call away. Would recommend to everyone.

Negative experience: Do not rent anywhere that’s managed by Plaza. I lived at 779 Wyckoff for 2 years and maintenance tickets were constantly ignored, we had no AC during the hottest month of July. The lack of communication is horrendous. I moved out on September 1st and I haven’t received my security deposit 6 weeks later. I’ve emailed Jonathan and Rivka 5 times for an update and no response. No one picks up the phone. I will be filing a complaint or go to small claims court if I have to. Do better.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the management of this apartment complex. People have been dealing with mold in the units, and despite multiple reports, nothing has been done to properly address the issue. This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a serious health hazard, and the lack of urgency from management is unacceptable.

Negative experience: Horrible treatment of tenants and issues. Ignores complaints, has done nothing for MONTHS. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars to this team. People are human beings living in inhumane conditions, this is what our world has turned into just as long as yall collect everybody gets neglect.

Negative experience: My aunt had been dealing with a mold outbreak and basically missing ceiling with toilet water leaking in top of her everytime she uses the bathroom ! This has been going on for a month now and she is a elder woman ! This is insane, and sad and horrible and every time she reaches out they never comes my aunt spent her whole summer waiting for someone to come fix the issue and no one comes! This is a JC apt and clearly they only care about luxury apts smh.

Negative experience: Please keep in mind that if you aren’t in a luxury building and you are living in regular apartment units in Jersey city you will not be acknowledged. My mother has been living with mold in her apartment, she’s been neglected by this Management. Thankfully she has kids to help her but I can only imagine if she was alone how depressing it would be to use the bathroom with toilet water leaking over your head. She’s sent out over 100 messages on plaza management link… just getting horsed around saying someone will come and no one does. Depression starts to kick in. They don’t care because it’s not them living in these type of conditions it’s more like a slap in the face and I can see they know exactly who to try and take full advantage of. Speaking from someone who worked for building management I can say that this has been a really sad experience watching my mother suffer. Fire departments have been called, the mayors office was the next step. As long as the rent is paid, that’s all that matters. Very unfortunate. Wish I can write an awesome review like others but unfortunately these are the circumstances.

I would definitely recommend the building to a family member or friend. Amenities include pool, billiard room, and the 24th terrace is amazing!! 2 thumbs up!!

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice and quiet building. Anytime there’s an issue or a maintenance request, management responds quickly—usually within 24 hours. They’re attentive and efficient; for example, they didn’t hesitate to replace my washer and dryer when needed. The building is right next to a beautiful park, and thanks to the excellent windows, you barely hear anything from outside. It’s perfect for anyone with a sensitive or irregular sleep schedule—I sleep so well here. I highly recommend it! The rooftop is absolutely beautiful !

Negative experience: Management company completely mismanaged. No communication until rent is withheld, expect to be harrassed at this point. Tenant issues are not addressed and updates from tenant are used to close tickets & mark them as resolved. Zero responsibility, failure to meet several NYC laws. No filter installed on HVAC system. Leaking HVAC system. Mold in apartment. Repairs, what repairs. Security deposit held despite providing no notice post move-out.
