Fantastic experience: My wife and I were looking to move to Hilton Head a couple of years ago. We lived about 4hrs away and because of how quickly properties were being sold, we were unable to see anything in person. Ann & Dan Ekus, from Southern Lifestyle Properties and Group DiNenna, were able to help us find the perfect condo for us. They went to the condo we were looking at, and did a video walk-through with there phone, while we were watching live, so we could see how the place looked. She went was very through in describing how everything looked and the condition things were in. During the whole process, she was always in communication with us. Gave us updates on where everything stood and answered all of our questions. We were so happy we found them and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Worst experience with a realtor. And we’ve owned 9 homes! Dan handled our new build. We met at the design studio, then he sent pictures once in 7 months of the house build. I had to ask him to go and get pictures of the upstairs and the patio. That was it, wasn’t at the closing Wasn’t at the walkthrough, wasn't at the closing. Didn’t reach out ever again, no thank you or congratulations. Just took the huge commission check and that was that. It’s crazy! An hour or two of work at most. Enough commission to buy a new car and not a thank you….nothing. Worst part is we had our neighbors use Dan also. They used the word "useless" to describe him.

I was in another state and there were several delays, so I really appreciated her hands on approach and updates. Karen arranged for an independent inspection and followed up on open issues with the builder. When my attorney had a conflict with my closing date Karen quickly organized with another attorney to ensure my closing would take place as scheduled. Karen also provided good references and contractors for epoxy flooring, Internet/TV and fan installations, carpentry, etc. Since closing and moving in she continues to reach out to me to ensure my satisfaction. Fantastic experience: We used Kendra Rohlfing from Southern Lifestyles Property/Group DiNenna to purchase our condo as a second home in Hilton Head Island in November 2019. We had a wonderful experience with Kendra, and when we decided to sell our condo in the spring of 2023, we reached out to Kendra to help us with the sale and also to help us find a full-time residence in Hilton Head. We found a house very quickly with Kendra's help, even though inventory was very low at the time. Her assistance with the negotiation process and inspection was invaluable.
