Negative experience: They never answer their phones so you are always speaking to an answering service. They don't return calls and screen their calls. They have had to come out to fix things multiple times because it's cheap just like many other things in the apartment. They obviously prioritize certain properties because 2680 jfk is dirty and smelly. The rugs smell and the elevator smells like puke. I can't speak for the properties that they prioritize but I wouldn't take the chance with any property. There still has not been any changes since this review. Positive experience: I have loved living at 34 State Street for the past six years. The apartments are incredibly spacious, with tall ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors, and plenty of storage. The closets are deep, and the bedrooms are much larger than what you typically find in the area. One of the best things about living here is the management team. They are responsive, kind, and quick to address any issues repairs are usually taken care of within a day or two. The super is amazing and honestly one of the biggest reasons to live in this building. Always friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in the residents. 34 State Street truly feels like a community. It's a hidden gem with great apartments, excellent management, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Fantastic experience: Very professional office staff.

Positive experience: I’ve had a good experience with Citiview Management. I lived at their property for 3 years, and had only minor complaints, which they took care of promptly. They will return your call and address your issues. I gave a 4 stars, just because, I feel they could improve building maintenance ( good cleaning crew), and give the entry and lobby a new fresh look ( new paint color). I loved my apartment, only reason I moved out was because I needed a two bedroom unit, other than that I would stay there.

Positive experience: Fixing things has started being an issue. Otherwise they are good with thier payment methods. Once you move in, absolutely no upgrades. Only maintenance. And that has been sketchy the last year or 2

Fantastic experience: I lived at 34 state st for 5 years and I loved the building. It has the best Supers, Fernando and Denise, who help with any issues right away. Our apartment was newly renovated, spacious, and the rent is well priced. Management has been swift about addressing any issues that have come up.

Fantastic experience: I initially stayed in a building that wasn’t managed by Citiview for a few years. After Citiview took over, things improved significantly—issues were addressed promptly, and maintenance requests became easier to log. I recently moved out for personal reasons and had a smooth experience with no issues during or after vacating.

Fantastic experience: The Best Management ever .Been With them for 9 Years. And my Overall Experience is Great .I wish I had the Option of giving them 10 Stars because they Sure do a great job. The Management is Available 24 hours at your service and Very prompt whenever you call on them about Anything or Concerns. I would have Stayed much Longer had my Family not gotten bigger and hence the need for more Space. All in all I will always Recommend CITIVIEW MANAGEMENT FOR ALL YOUR RENTAL NEEDS.

Fantastic experience: They from what I was told took over my building which was ran by a slum lord. They are working miracles because they are doing a great job especially what I've been told with what they were working with. Anytime I've had an issue they take accountability and fix it. You may not ever get anyone to answer directly if you call the office but if you leave a message with their answering service they will respond. When you are a new tenant with issues they will answer right away. Gwen is pleasant, awesome, and very empathetic.

Positive experience: The super is really very nice and he works hard to fix my problems. I like the building now and i hear him running around all over the place at all hours of the day or night, helping people. I really hope to see him soon so i may hand him a little cash as way of expressing my thanks for always helping me and taking great care of these buildings. Christmas bonus, he deserves it. Well done

Negative experience: This is unbelievable with the temperature outside at 14 degrees and the heaters not working in the apartments when they even have an additional charge in the contract of 120 extra dollars for heater and hot water, 3 consecutive days complaining about this and no one does anything in their building at 1300-1304 palisade ave union city, new jersey

Fantastic experience: The management has been excellent, and the houses are fantastic. Over the past two years, I’ve had very few issues with my residence, and even the minor ones were promptly addressed by a dedicated super assigned to the building I lived in.

Negative experience: The super turned off my water and I haven't had water since days I told them that Tuesday they could come and the super knocked on my door yesterday and told me that he was going ro enter my apartment and fix it . I do not feel comfortable with the super being there. He was caught looking into my bathroom windows multiple times and has even admitted to it . When he came by yesterday I told him that I had to go see my kids and he then replied I don't care about that , you don't even have custody of your kids anymore anyways. Didn't you lose them ? Very unprofessional and his wife when she saw me was calling me dirty . My main concern is my water being off. I called cityview management and they had a maintenance guy call me instead of them calling me back themselves. The water was turned off at 11 am and I called around 1130 water was never turned on . I do not want to take legal action but I will if I have to. I'm moving anyways and they pull this crap on me .

Fantastic experience: Great apartment with nearby transportation and supermarkets. Landlord’s super and realty office staff are responsive and easy to work with. Issues are quickly resolved.

Fantastic experience: I lived at 25 sherman ave for a year , no complaints whenever there was a little issue thw super came whenever we called him. Very quite only moved because i needed more space.

Fantastic experience: I stayed at 146 Manhattan Ave for 3+ years and had a great experience with the Citiview management. They had a great portal to make payments and create tickets for any queries. The management was quick enough to respond back and resolve queries. Citiview had appointed Israel who was managing the property and was very pro active in maintaining the property and helping the residents.

Fantastic experience: My family and I were very satisfying with the apartment. It was well kept, clean, and quiet building. Accessible to all places from Pharmacy, Doctors, supermarket, restaurants, dentist etc!!! I really enjoyed it while i rented it.

Positive experience: Diamond in the rough, spacious, good lighting, prime location to transportation, parks and restaurants. Great experience with this apartment and communicating with the staff (they’re great people to work with). Any and every issue was addressed immediately and professionally. Neighbors can be a bit rowdy, but think it’s just apart of living in NY/NJ.

Positive experience: I've dealt with all manner of Building Management. But i can honestly say dealing Citiview Management was a breeze. They respond within a reasonable time frame, quick to follow up as well. What More can you ask.

Positive experience: I lived in a building managed by Citiview for almost two years. Never had any major issues in my apartment and the building is adequately maintained. I especially loved my building super. He and his wife were so friendly and always available to help with anything I needed. I ended up giving them some things to keep for themselves or donate to their church when I moved out. Such good people. My only reason for removing a star was that some of the tenants were dirty and disrespectful but that isn’t managements fault entirely. Some would leave their dogs urine in the hall and not clean up after themselves. I often felt bad for the super. We also had some issues with stolen packages but that happens everywhere and management was cool enough to put an Amazon locker in the lobby which helped a ton! Overall I’d recommend citiview as they’re the most responsive I’ve seen in NY/NJ and the staff is great

Negative experience: I’ve had the worse experience trying to get in contact with anyone from these offices. Ive text email call and still get no answer or clarity from them. They don’t call back, they don’t email back and all I’m trying to do is pay my rent - is this what they do to later evict you? I’ve already gotten an attorney because this is uncalled for and so unsettling- they recently purchased my building and it’s been a complete disaster. They’ve caused me severe anxiety- they’ve been unreliable and sketchy !!

Negative experience: Disrespect ,bad responses and bad communications and they have disrespectful agents I don't like to deal with them anymore I had a bad experience with them

Israel, the super, was awesome – he fixed things quickly and was really friendly. The building was well taken care of, quiet, and just a great place to live. I highly recommend Citiview Management to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable living experience.

Fantastic experience: Love this place as it's an all you eat buffet, they have every kind of food, sushi, crabs, clams, cod, steak, potatoes, mushrooms in oyster sauce and deserts to name a few for lunch, it's about $12 each. Dinner a little bit more. It is also a beautiful looking establishment.

Negative experience: in Bayonne NJ. Where I have been a tenant for 3 years. They have their senior management by the name of Ludi Hoxha. This person have discriminated me because of my family status (having kids under 18) and also she called me an angry black woman over email, when I have voiced my concerns. She threaten to evict us because the neighbor downstairs who just moved in said my kids who are both under 5 are making enjoying their playing time in the middle of the day. Ludi has refused to give us her manager information. She just said that a person by the name of Juan from corporate will contact us. When I asked for Juan’s last name she refused. She treated my family like a charity case like we did not belong in the community. She has all powers in the office and does not answer to no one concerning this type of behavior. Full disclosure the neighbor downstairs came to our door and threatened us. Ludi did not care and still acted like we were the aggressors even though we have videos to prove it.

Fantastic experience: Well managed 2 Bed 1 bath residential apartment in Jersey City Heights area. 24/7 maintenance and support availability and friendly management staff. I enjoyed my stay here for over 3 and half years.

Fantastic experience: I was a tenant, and appreciated the respect for quiet enjoyment of my apartment. On a winter day when there were heating issues, they made sure the super was working round the clock to resolve. The firm was also kind enough to be flexible regarding breaking my lease on short notice. For this I am very grateful. I would recommend Citiview.

Fantastic experience: I truly loved living at this place! The apartment was newly renovated when I moved in. Clean , quiet and the management ALWAYS answered and resolved any issue that came up. My one bedroom apartment was super spacious and with lots of natural light. Neighbors are super nice (some have lived there for over 30 years) I had an indoor parking but there is plenty of parking in the street. I don’t know if I got lucky but in almost two years I never had a bad experience. I’m gonna miss my little place.

Negative experience: Horrible all they is to evict people and the maintenance is sooo garbage they never pick up they're phones

Negative experience: Water is Off Every Other Month with NO Notice at least 24 hours prior to the situation. No Water had been distributed to tenants during this unfortunate situation; Nothing. It has been off all day long. Not Everyone here works 9-5 like entire office and maintenance staff at the Citiview management office. I work Late Nights & Overnights. I Don't have the "Fortunate" opportunity to go to a Friend's or Family members house when everyone lives Out South Jersey or other states. So Now I have to be Late because of this situation & no notice about it; and all I can hear is "Sorry", as IF that makes Anything better at all but I Guess it makes the Entire Citiview staff feel and sleep better at night to say it. Update: I was Told that the current water issues is a city problem but yet I was Told something much different. I was told the issues is within the building on an upper floor. Guess I will have to go see these gentlemen myself.

Negative experience: I’ve called maintenance every other week for the past 2 months for them to fix my dad’s kitchen cabinets (which have been falling apart since beginning of this year at 2207 central ave). And no one has reached out to let us know if they will fix or not. My dad is in his 80s. Please tell us whether this will be fixed or not so that we can make outside arrangements and have the City of Union City fine you for not being compliant.

Fantastic experience: Thank goodness I found Citiview Management! I hired them to manage a commercial building and I love working with Nathan and his team. Their responsiveness to all of my emails, calls and requests has been outstanding and in a few short months they have done more work on my building than our previous property managers did in years. I love being able to log into the system, check on the status of the financials and projects and retrieve information effortlessly. I am excited that my building is finally getting the attention that it deserves and am looking forward to a long term relationship with Nathan and Citiview Management.

Negative experience: This computer monitoring system for the heat does not work at all as a tenant I'm always cold it's ridiculous in this cold winter weather if I don't use my electric heater or turn the oven on it would be impossible to live here. After numerous complaints there is still not a working door bell. I'm sure the money that is saved by not suppying heat you should be able to afford to install a working door bell.

Negative experience: All communication goes through a call in center so good luck getting service outside of business hours. Constant problems in my building including mail/package theft, water leaks, cockroaches, power outages, old wiring, peeling paint, poor quality fixtures, and dirty common areas. Horrible management company with horrible properties, avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: As a real estate salesperson I work with multiple management companies, and Citiview Management is top tier. They maintain their buildings at a high standard and respond quickly whenever my tenants have had any issues. Any agent renting units in Hudson County, NJ and surrounding areas should consider working with them, and if you're a potential tenant looking to move to the area, definitely look them up.
