Negative experience: We have not been happy working with this Group. I'm sure part of the blame is on the red-hot real estate market that has made home sales extremely lucrative with little work from the agent; however, this team has been uncommunicative and unresponsive to inquiries. Carmen did everything she could to make us feel more comfortable; she even offered to look at houses ahead of us by herself and would only bring us if a house was worth us going inside. Even though this doubled the amount of work for Carmen, as she would have to see a house twice if we wanted to see it, she didn't even hesitate if it would make us feel more comfortable. As we got more comfortable going into houses, we still refused to go into houses with other people inside at the same time, so she often asked other people to leave if they were at a house during our appointment time. During our house search process, Carmen stayed with us every step of the way despite the fact that it took us 10 months to find our home! She never gave up on us and kept encouraging us, even sometimes when we were ready to give up. She gave us good advice and was patient with us even when we didn't always listen to her. Carmen was always available, night or day, including on weekends. She always showed up to every house we wanted to look at, even when we gave little notice and sometimes at the last minute! Fantastic experience: Carmen is, by far, the best real estate agent I have ever met. In 2009 she helped me and my wife buy our first home (condo) and she was incredibly helpful then. She got to know us and our needs, took the time to make sure we were making a good choice, and made sure we were prepared for the buying process. We have since moved across the country and decided to sell our Silver Spring condo. The only person we considered for the sale was Carmen. I'm not sure we could have done it without her. It was very difficult with us being on the West Coast and the buyer requesting less than 3 weeks to close. Carmen made sure it all got done and we closed on time!
