Negative experience: Called to inquire about a property and I spoke to Carol. She was very rude and made it feel as if I was “ bothering” her. No thanks! Definitely wouldn’t commit to a year of that.

Negative experience: The reason I give two stars is twofold. I must say this first though that I nearly always give five stars because I love giving great feedback and here I need to give more honest feedback, wish the company does get the extra star because the service was good during my lease, however. Is time that renters can speak out about the deposit fraud that many landlords are playing the game knowing that we are not going to file a lawsuit, which more than likely we're not going to get anywhere anyway, just for a few hundred dollars. In my situation I easily left my condo in Daytona Beach January 2023 looking and smelling much better than when I started, but the actual owner, not a representative which I love the family and how they are operating their business as a family, directly cut into my deposit, which I can test it and in my communication with the owner of the company I was able to salvage much of my deposit. For example, Mary Lynn accused me of needing a German roach cleanse, which is important for everybody in the city of Florida to know this that condo units that are not separate are actually to be maintained for German roaches and outside pests by the management company, not the tenant, also all the owner of my unit needed to do is call the management company to have them do a German roach cleanse if they so desired, so I caught them in a blatant lie kind of by accident. Also, they did refund the cleaning fee they tried to drop on me, which I had video and pictures showing that I left the place immaculate and had done a stellar job cleaning the unit before I left it. But what they did hold back for me was hurricane damage to the exterior screen door and interior outside door that was caused by the flood from hurricane Ian, which come on please everybody should know that hurricane damage is to be covered by flood insurance under the owner of the property, never the tenant rather the property that is private is covered by renters insurance and we cannot actually have any type of flood insurance, but still they tried and they did succeed in me not taking them to court to get my money back for them hitting me with the damage from the hurricane, which by the way according to my neighbor the door was never replaced. Beware of how this company manipulates tenants to try to get deposit money to line their own pockets.

Fantastic experience: A great bunch of agents with vast knowledge of the real estate market. If you're looking to buy or sell these are the people that you must talk to.

Negative experience: I have photos posted of how we left the rental from Mary Lynn as well as an image of charges we were assessed for the rental property. I advise not to use Mary Lynn Realty for your renting as they are not honest in the walk through of damages.

Fantastic experience: Best real estate office in town. All the people that work there are so polite and super professional. I have been renting properties from them for almost 5 years. Whenever there is an issue with the home, they get it handled right away. It is a family business and it shows, from top to bottom. When I have enough saved, I will be utilizing them for my purchase. I can't see any reason to use any other real estate people. Thank you Mary Lynn!

Fantastic experience: I came in a while back looking for a rental and they were ready and available to help few years later came back they actually remembered me love it family owned business I will refer them to anyone I know. Very clean office, lots of parking very, very professional!

Negative experience: Unfortunately our experience with their realtors was not helpful. We used their Management on a rental for about 3 yrs. When we decided to sell we of course honored our contract to use them. The agent put the sale price way too high for the neighborhood which we did point out After a month my husband went up ( we live 3 hrs away ) and there were some repairs and the yard needed clean up. So..we trusted them to take care of those things and the price was lowered at that time. Here we are 3 mo. Later...no offers so we had another realtor go in to see what was going on. Well.. The repairs were never done The front door was ruined along with the stove . It needed to be replaced! It was disgusting! The house never should have been shown in that condition!! When we called to point the issues out ,they would say they would take care of it but obviously we would find out they did not. We immediately canceled our contract with them! Beware and check up on them before you sign up!! Very disappointing! They kept our cleaning deposit too! Now we have to spend extra $$$ to fix it up and put on the market again!! Mary Lynn should not be so trusting of her in law agents. EXP realty sold the house for us!

Fantastic experience: We started renting our Pelican Bay condo through Mary Lynn Realty back in July of 2021. We've been very pleased with the process and with our property manager, Nicole. We arrived at a good rental price, and they have people who can fix smaller issues at reasonable prices. Their rate is fair and we've uncovered no hidden costs. This has been a good experience for us!

Fantastic experience: Marylynn Realty has managed properties for me for over 15 years! They have also sold several properties for me as well! I feel I get all of the things above and also, include honesty. They do a fantastic job and would highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Searched rental real estate agents near me and this one popped up first. Agent sounded very snobby initially and when asked about a rental she said she didn't do rentals and that's ok. Then she said the market is $1600 when I've seen rentals for 650-800.

In the end things worked out beautifully for all parties involved including myself and in very little time my condo was sold and all the numbers shared initially were exactly what he promised. He went above and beyond and all aspects of this transaction. I would highly recommend Marc to anyone selling their property. All of this occurred with me out of town and the communication was timely and excellent

Negative experience: Get as far away from this place as possible. Not one person accepts the fabricated reviews of Mary Lynn's friends posting to bolster her ratings. Sadly, this is an organization that will rip you off when the opportunity or chance occurs in any way.

Fantastic experience: My family of 5 had been living in a hotel room for the last 10 months because we could not find someone who would rent to us....until we met Nicole. There are not enough Thank Yous in the world to express how very greatful we are. She is so incredibly caring and understanding. I have dealt with a few realtors in my day, she is hands down the best. I told her to expect a huge hug from all of us when we are clear to do so. The fact that we were even able to do all this; very quickly to add, during Covid 19 was an unexpected blessing. Thank you once again Nicole Casel!!!

Negative experience: Rude aggressive staff. Mary Lynn showed up unannounced for a city inspection at 8am. My wife and I were sleeping at the time. After one knock at our door used her key to enter the house and then had the audacity to walk down the hall and into the master bedroom. Neither of us were dressed and the crazy old coot tried to insist they were still going through with the inspection. This was the second time she barged in while we were home without waiting for us to answer the door. After 6 years of leasing, we moved out. They did a walkthrough of our house and said it was in good condition and we would be getting our deposit back. We reached out multiple times and were given the run around. Eventually we picked up a check at the post office for a fraction of the amount owed. This was claimed to be a mistake and we were told that it would be rectified but four months later have yet to see a dime. So glad to no longer be associated with these rude aggressive pompous people. Can’t believe they still have a business and not a cell. DO NOT RENT FROM MARY LYNN REALTY!

Negative experience: Not doing to well with my listing. I feel like the possibility of any sale is all up to me.

Negative experience: I'd really give a 0 if possible. Is not truthful about property. Like us you will NOT be satisfied!!! You cannot rate them on other sites like Zillow or others! Buyer or Seller beware! It seems that many of these positive reviews may be propagated by inside sources/staff at Mary Lynn. Check out the negative posts that received many thumbs up! That's likely a much more credible indicator!

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. My back was against the wall with finding a place to rent. I took a million "No's" and I walked into Mary Lynn Realty and finally got that "Yes". Customer service was top notch and very flexible. The team is a green light from me.

Negative experience: Every employee there are unpleasant nasty individuals. They treat you like you are an annoyance. And forget the fact that if somthing breaks you will have to hound them to come and fix it for a month and then when they finally do send someone they have no idea what there doing and whatever they fix literally breaks again when the walk out the door. It's crazy. And yea just write off your deposit. Wish I would have went with a reputable place. I was warned and didn't listen. Don't make the same mistake

Negative experience: They stole almost all my deposit Scam artist. I was with them for almost 3 years and when I finally bought a house and moved out we cleaned and painted the house. It was in better condition than when we received it. Marylyn came to do the walk through and her complaints where that I didn't clean the central AC vents or tops of fans. She pulled the refrigerator out and proceeded to wipe behind the refrigerator with a white napkin and show my all the dust. I agreed that I was fine with paying for cleaning bill even though I thought that was crazy. Then I stoped at her store to see why it had been weeks and still haven't heard about my deposit. She explained that she went back to do a second walk through and found "damage". She could provide no pictures of the said damage. These people are lieing scam artists. They will never come and fix anything in your house and they are extreamly overpriced as well. I paid $1400 a month for a 1200sft 2/2. Just think long and hard before you give them money cause you will never see it again and they are nasty individuals that don't care what is broken or not working. My lawyer said that she is a notorious slum lord or daytona.

Negative experience: I was looking to move into the daytona area from tampa with my family after speaking with an agent there i drove across the state to walk into the office where i felt like i they didnt wanna deal with me and the agent had an attitude problem , she asked me numerous times before i looked at the house what do i qualify for? When i told her numerous times before driving 2 hours i can qualify for any house they have . I wear a shirt and tie everyday at work when im not infront of clients i wear whatever i want and yes i have tattoos since they clearly judged a book by its cover im gladly working with another company looking for a house for me with a pool and everything i want . Unfortunetly i couldnt put 0 stars so i had to give them one.

Negative experience: We called on a house to rent and they were very pleasant on the phone and told us our service dog would not be a problem. Told us to come down to the office to pick up a key to see the house. As soon as we walked in the office everyone played dumb and had no idea what we were talking about. My best guess is we were instantly judged based on our appearence. We are hard working people who can build the damn house for you. This is the worse discrimination I've encountered in a long time. Oh yeah I'm white !!

Negative experience: I would never recommend this realtor to anyone renting based on my experience with them. I always wondered how they made their money as a property manager and found out the hard way. The don't give you back your security deposit!! They come up with all sorts of unethical expenses that they "supposedly" incurred and then take it out of your security deposit and send you NOTHING! Between an attorney and the Better Business Bureau, I am hoping that they can put a stop to this kind of behavior so no one else has to experience what I have!!

Fantastic experience: I am an out of state owner of seven town houses in South Daytona Beach. When Mary Lynn and her staff took over my property she was able to enhance the rent roll dramatically along with introducing me to quality local contractors and other vendors. Mary Lynn Realty monthly reports are easy to read, done in a prompt manner, and her staff is easily accessible, knowledgeable, and very thorough when checking tenants background. If your an out of state owner or a local owner who needs good management, and even better people Mary Lynn Realty is your go to realty company.

Negative experience: Most horrible place to live Marylynn reality charged me $150 to paint the walls after I lived there for a year the place looked a thousand times better me moving out then it did when I moved in I had to clean the apartment before moving in / moved in a week late after signing my lease bc they could never get the carpet put in would not recommend this place to anyone
