Fantastic experience: Great to do business with them

Negative experience: Terrible .. no inventory and won’t even give pictures which to me makes me think they are being shady … the lady ion the phone was very too .. talked over me when I was just trying to inquire about their houses. And there are MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS in these reviews about “cici” so why your saying she not a problem means nothing.. i also see ALOT of people saying these fast selling houses are crap which is why you wouldn’t show pictures. You’re literally commenting about yourself how else would you know the person I talked to was cici? Come on now

Negative experience: The elevator sounds and feels like it may be the last ride down you you'll ever take. I have to use the stairs to feel a bit safe.. 3 flights opposed to being the lucky person to ride the elevator of doom. Thank God my business with them is over and I'll never have to brave that place again..

Negative experience: These people are the worst, unprofessional rude crooks said I was not responsible for the back taxes they haven't paid but I get a bill for them in my name. Plus I pay my bill though PayPal like they said I could and because they did something wrong and was charged a 30 dollar fee, they tried to charge me a late fee of 75 dollars plus the 30 dollars. Showed them I wasn't charged anything on my end still have not reversed the fee don't deal with them I wish I didn't.

Fantastic experience: I started buying my property at 21 y/o with this company and I am now 24 with a 3 bed 2 full bath brick Bungalo style home on the west side of Detroit in a very good neighborhood That is payed and full. This company makes it easy for anyone to purchase a home even with bad credit. If I can do it even through nursing school and all you can too. I highly recommend this place.

Positive experience: I started my Land Contract with DPX in 2010 the staff was awesome and very understanding to any situation that may have arise. At the end of my loan things had become very rocky, but I still managed to prevail and obtain my deed!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus!!!!!

Negative experience: Their really helpful and once you get approved they give a big list of houses. But once you get a house from them they want you to pay the back taxes and any remaining bills which theres not suppose to be any bills left over. Anything wrong with the house you have to spent money to fix it because they wont fix anything.

Negative experience: so damn unprofessional !!!!! the receptionist will put you on hold real quick when your calling to inquire about something before you can even explain what your calling about. I did most of the leg work when it came to me getting into my property. As a matter of fact I need to get compensated for my services and be hired due to the fact, how on top of things I am. Maintenance will drag they ass when it comes to repairs as well.

Fantastic experience: It's business

Negative experience: They are very unprofessional, unorganized and "slum lord" describes them best. They do not repair asap. They find any reason to charge a fee (assessment fee, etc). The manager/boss is NEVER available and you find yourself speaking to the same people that cannot help, but they make verbal promises, then once you speak with someone else about your verbal agreement, they laugh and say"do you have it on paper". Being a tenant of theirs was the worst decision ive made. Started having problems with them 10days in. Lease up in May and I CANT WAIT. My home is beautiful but its not worth it! Please stay away from detroit property exchange and any of their entities! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Negative experience: This company is a fraud...they tried to sell me a property on a land contract, turn out they lost the property to the Detroit Land Bank through the Nuisance abatement act...before they attempted to sell it to me....Complete Fraud...Beware do not give them any money or business...

Negative experience: will provide false or misleading documentation regarding water bills and tax bills. Should you decide to go through this agency be sure to get a copy of all closing documents looked over by a lawyer beforehand. Well cancel appointments on you so you cannot straighten out the situation I will be contacting the Realtors association about this company.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place if u looking to buy a house

Negative experience: A rip off! They take your money, make you pay back taxes on a property you didn't own at that time. They tell you the taxes would be one amount but you get to the county and its much higher. Had a friend who went thru the same thing with this company.

Positive experience: Went and paid the application fee got a big list. Found a property loving it. Great customer service. I would recomend them one looking for a house..
