Fantastic experience: Mike helped us purchase our dream retirement home in PA. We bought this rural property site unseen. But it started with him understanding our needs in securing a unique property, working with out of state/country buyers, knowing the target area location and market value, suggesting network of local service providers (mortgage brokers, insurance companies, utility concierge, etc.) we could leverage if needed and securing pre-approval financing to facilitate negotiations with sellers. But you would say this is what a real estate agent does normally, but there is a difference. Being responsive to our calls and questions was important to us. This is one of Mike's key attributes. He was always there when we needed him. In a hot real estate market, delays could result in lost opportunities. Additionally, the offer preparation and negotiation trade-offs is another strong attribute of Mike's. It is hard as a buyer to know the value of the property in an inflated seller's market and make reasonable bids within our budget. Mike walked us through cash bids vs. mortgage competition, amount down for holding the bid, contingencies nice to haves vs. required, value proposition with our bid and assessment value differences due to market. His experience in tailoring the right offer with stragetic bid timing made the difference in securing the property for us. Once again, Mike thank you for your help.
