She initially brought us an offer from her clients, but with multiple offers on the table, we ultimately accepted another buyer’s offer. What really impressed us was that Lida didn’t simply move on. When our original deal unexpectedly fell through, Lida was right there and ready with another offer from her clients. In the end, she brought us the right offer and got the sale done. We had pretty specific requirements on what we wanted as a our "final home" purchase - walkable to downtown, ranch, property, character, etc. I called Lida and she had a home in mind that was just getting listed in downtown Fenton. Fantastic experience: I have been sitting on this review for a while. Trying to find the words to express how fantastic Lida and Athearn Realty are… but I keep coming up blank. It’s hard to put into words how absolutely perfect she is at her job. Her attention detail and knowledge is incomparable. I first reached out to her when my husband and I were looking for a cabin. Trying to find a home hours north isn’t easy. We came across a bunch of road blocks when the realtor of the cabin we really wanted to see refused to let a “down state realtor” show it. Lida said “Go look at it, I am not going to stand in the way of buying a place you may love.” We loved it and wanted to buy it but they still wouldn’t let Lida in they made us deal with them, the sellers agents, and they were terrible. Lida still helped me any way she could and got paid NOTHING. Over the years I have recommended her to so many people, she’s just that good. Everyone knows a realtor. A friend, relative, a friend of a friend, a cousin of a friend, everyone has their license. But the difference between someone like Lida and the majority of the realtors out there is huge. I know a lot of realtors. Some I would trust to work with, most I wouldn’t, but even the ones I would work with don’t hold a candle to her. I urge anyone looking for a realtor to look at what they do, how they market themselves, how successful and thorough they are. Anyone can help you buy or sell your house. But not everyone can get you the price you want or deserve. The last time I worked with Lida was in the past couple of months. We were selling our family home that we raised our son in and looking for another permanent home up north. Leaving a house we had lived in for 20+ years was so emotional for me. When she would ask us about stuff I’d always reply “what do you think?” “What would you do?” And she’d respond “if this was my house…” I did everything she advised and we sold our house in one weekend on the market, with multiple offers. We purchase our new house below selling price and with our original offer. I can’t imagine going through such an important process with another realtor. She and her son, Drew, were what got us through an incredibly exciting but also very emotional time.

Right after we accepted an offer, we found out I had a serious medical issue that required surgery and a 3 week minimum recovery period.
