Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront property. The home was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and exactly as described. The waterfront setting was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views that made our stay even more enjoyable. The property had everything we needed, and the entire experience from check-in to check-out was smooth and easy. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway!

Negative experience: Do not rent lot 471at the Adventure Out Cudjo Key the worst place to rear park you RV, this corn is almost impossible to park, we had to use pieces of cement that someone left there to make our RV fit. We also request to extend our stay, but our RV broken down while we were there and we request to cancel the extension request, they did not want to refund it, even thou we explained that was a emergency and we had to drive the RV up North to fix it, but the owners did not care about our situation, (I guess they need the money more than we do) I wish they use the money it to fix the ground. LOL. The Water Front 2 woman that works there are arrogant, I did not like the way they treated me at all, very bad vibes.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful ,accommodating, epic we had a wonderful time we rented a 1 bedroom for my husband and I with a dock perfect 3 day vacation would of liked to staid longer . Guard shack people were so nice gave us tips on where to fish and dine. Booking again next year

Negative experience: The rental was amazing but the people at Waterfront Keys Realty are Rude!! Especially Allison!!!!! Called the office numerous times no call back ,called the emergency line no call back . Called from a random number they answer and were Rude again!! Beware of Allison and her attitude!!

Negative experience: It was the worst ever home I've rented from them. Place was dirty, 3 lights were out and bulbs never replaced. The smell in the drawers and bed sheets were disgusting. I had to wash all the linens. Also under the mattress in only bedroom has a stain that looks like blood . The tub in 1st bathroom has a crack a big crack. This was unit #529 it sucks because I love the area. I guess next time I'll have to stay in Marathon.

Negative experience: BEWARE- Horrible Property Management Company- Dirty Rental- False Advertising- Wish I could give ZERO stars. We rented unit #537 July 13-17. Let me start by stating I gave the homeowner and Waterfront Keys Realty the opportunity to make things right before leaving a review and you chose NOT to. They had the opportunity to put us in a different unit as well and did not. When we arrived we drove up to a pile of boxes, trash full with flies and a broken glass door at the front of the house. This broken glass door is extremely dangerous and should have been removed. The front door only locks from the inside (barely at that) so there was no way to lock our door while away for the day. It looks like someone already tried to break into the house. The house was not ready for renters. The porch furniture was all clumped together in the middle of the porch, big piece of glass leaned up behind it, toys, boxes and personal belongings left behind the couch. Inside the house found the couch ruined, stains all over the wall, kitchen dirty, vape stick in the bathroom by the vanity, sheets on the bed never washed just out of the package, hole in the bathroom ceiling, washer and dryer completely missing (listing stated washer and dryer in unit). The main door is on the slope of an extremely steep ramp which is very dangerous. Bedroom window leaks when it rains. On top of all that the “view” that sells the house is no longer a view. It is construction and on top of a construction view that is the main picture, the construction is extremely loud when they are working all day long. I understand you can not control construction but you are false advertising with the main picture of before construction began across the street. The parking spot barely fits a golf cart and we had to pay to park our truck in overflow parking. This needs to be up front in the listing. I truly feel bad for the owner of this property. They need to fire Waterfront Keys Realty and anyone else who is using them needs to re consider.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Venture Out since 2017. Trish and her team whether it be rentals or sales has always been kind and professional. we have used Waterfront Keys Realty for Purchases, Sales and even Rentals, never once have we had any issues. We had friends go to Venture Out and they loved it as well. If your looking for a great "Keys" experience look no further than Venture Out close to Key West but away from the hustle and bussle. The views are spectacular.

Positive experience: Great boating community . Every rental we have had has had cockroaches dont be alarmed just be prepared (might be norm for waterfront life) Been visiting for 20years. No boat trailer OR 2nd vehicle parking after jan1st 2022 (100% why i rate 3 as overall rating) makes trailering a boat difficult as the local storage facilities are usually full, and closed sundays and holiday weekends. Spectacular views, convenient community store, awesome pancake breakfasts, the security staff is top notch.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place

Negative experience: Let me start by sharing the good side of Venture Out as the location is great, especially if you are planning to be out on the boat every day. The convenience there, the plumbing, and the four walls around us are the only reason why I would even give this place two stars. To put it simply, the place that we stayed in was absolutely filthy (as were the homes that our friends also stayed in the same week). Ours, in particular had crumbs, dust, and hair everywhere. It had a horrible smell when we walked into the place and once we were in the house I spent 4 hours cleaning it to make it semi-clean for my family. The real kicker was when I moved the couch cushions and found actual trash in the couch that my two children were sitting on. Then, I found food stuck to the dishes that were put away in the kitchen. The place being dated and on the smaller side is expected in the keys, so that I can live with, even at a $2500 price point. Having to scrub the house down because our feet were black and it was dirty is absolutely unacceptable, not just in general, but especially during a pandemic. We called the office to complain and left a couple of messages to no avail and luckily spent most of our time outside. I'm just grateful that we were thinking ahead and at the very least brought our own linens.

Fantastic experience: Aile gave us a tour on the golf cart was very nice and great people skills. she is by far a great realtor i highly recommend her for a realtor. Also the people in the office are great as well very friendly. And community looks great!

Negative experience: Waterfront Keys manages VENTURE OUT in Cudjoe Key. Venture out is a series of waterfront lots situated on canals that lead to the ocean. Renters have access to dock their boat on a private dock. The community includes owners that live here and temporary renters. There are strict rules that are strictly enforced by 24-hour security staff on golf carts. It is a family friendly community with a 24-hour manned gate. The only negative aspect of our stay at Venture Out was Alie at Waterfront Keys Management. She was unresponsive and lacks customer service skills. Our front door (unit 253) was stuck, the fan in one bedroom never worked, and we never received access to wifi. Therefore, we were forced to use the back door for 4 days and were unable to use our laptops or TV as there is no cable available in the units. Multiple emails and phone calls resulted in broken promises and no follow-up. We NEVER received access to the promised wifi. If you are lucky enough to be able to rent directly from an owner, please do. Waterfront Keys Prop Mngmt is aweful and unresponsive based on our experience. Overall, Venture Out was a memorable vacation except for dealing with the on site management company.

Positive experience: So…I have been coming to VO for 9 years, and for the last 2 years 2 times every June. They have rules, yes. They have some fees, yes. They also have access to some amazing fishing, views and facilities that make it all worth it. Over the years I have stayed in many units and all of them, for the most part, have all been well maintained and well supplied. I highly recommend most of the units, and we have already booked our 2022 trip. However, one unit should be avoided until they fix a few things, unit 579. This is our second year at this unit, and it has a great location, wide canal, and nice floor plan with a covered porch. But it’s level of disrepair and lack of basic supplies is unacceptable (no frying pans or measuring cups, plenty of coffee mugs but minimal glasses, tattered bath towels, broken washing machine dial, etc). Further, the amount of non paying guests who walk around is nothing short of scary. Roaches walking around in broad day light, after killing more than ten in the first 2 days….Yuck. Did call the office and they had a guy out in less than an hour. Yeah to VO!!!

Negative experience: Did not realize all the rules or fees when booking. 107.00 for non refundable gate fee, 50.00 booking fee. 5 Pages of rules with many Highlights in different orange and yellow. We paid extra to be on the water and during hookup we found the electric box had a problem and 4 days later problem still not fixed. We are leaving tomorrow. Should have been refunded some for it not being fixed. Not their fault but the wind is too strong for us to enjoy the outdoors at RV219. Save your money and book an inner lot or another park. The worse is our dog likes to go on freguent walks and you can only freely walk on the outside of the front gate. Otherwise dogs are expected to stay within your assigned space. No dog parks or grass for dogs to run off leash.

Fantastic experience: Booked for next winter. Eazy to work with. Has a extra fee that you pay at ck in. Hard to get a place in winter time in the keys. Glad to have it.

Fantastic experience: We don't vacation anywhere else when staying in the keys. This place has it all, is always so helpful, and just a great community. We absolutely love Venture Out.

Negative experience: We made reservations several weeks in advance. I received confirmation from a do not reply email that listed our reservation number(thank god) but no unit number. When we arrived at VO after 10 pm - the front desk/gate could not find our paperwork or unit number? We patiently waited 30 minutes until they located our reservation. Unit 215 has a fabulous view. However, There were a grand total of 3 bath towels for 1 week, the place was LESS than clean and the front sliding door was broken, which made it very difficult to get In and out. I mean it had no handle! I believe they will be installing new windows as we had to dodge them as we pulled into the drive way. I feel for what we paid we should have been made aware the home was under repair!

Negative experience: Beware that rentals are facilitated by waterfront keys for lot owners. If you have an issue with the lot like broken glass everywhere followed by workers digging a 3 foot deep trench to repair the sewer line you are at the mercy of the lot owner for a refund and will be required to pay full price to relocate to a different lot. Stay as far away from site 616 as you can!

Negative experience: The place we rented (VO484) was NOT clean upon arrival. Dead bugs from where they had "sprayed" the day before......??? The ladies in the rental office need to take an Angry Mangnement Class along with Customer Service Class. We where looking to buy into this community as an investment....however with the current management staff we will not. I would never want my customers to experience the negativity, anger, and hostility of this ladies in the office. I would not rent this place again due to water damage, uncleainess, and the angry ladies in the office. If your looking to rent from these folks.....please have then send updated pictures (date stamped) to you first. Horrible experience rent elsewhere!!

Positive experience: Waterfront keys realty is a well run organization. They have a good selection of properties from high end to not so nice. All the properties with ocean views have excellent fishing. We have stayed at 5 different oceanfront sites and had a great time

Positive experience: Our rental experience was OK - the unit appeared clean at first glance when we arrived at night however upon further inspection the next day we realized the sofas placed on the screened in porch were covered in mold so we couldn't even enjoy the porch area, walking around barefoot inside left your feet BLACK, and the bathrooms definitely needed some TLC. The toilet seat did not look like it was actually cleaned after the precious guests checked out, the walls had obvious water damage, and the shower heads were all loose in the walls. Some of the linens and pillows had obvious stains on them which was pretty skeevy. The kitchen seemed fairly clean and was well stocked for cooking. I was also a little put off by how much you are expected to do before leaving the residence, not sure why there is a cleaning fee if I had to do most of the cleanup and the rest is obviously someone doing a quick straightening up before the next guest checks in. The pool seemed to be well maintained but the rec room could use some serious updating. Overall not the worst experience but expected way more for the money spent.

Negative experience: We rented a property from Waterfront Keys Realty, Inc on Memorial Day. The property was not cheap, we paid more than $1400 for 5 days. The unit was filthy, they did not have it cleaned for us even though they charged us a $100 cleaning fee. It wasnt just dirty, like the drawers and cabinets and everywhere we can store our clothing had to literally be cleaned before we can use them, but the "kids" room was so dusty, that the kids ended up having to sleep on the couch because it was giving them allergies and they couldnt sleep. I've rented several vacation homes and have NEVER had such a disgusting place. We contacted them about this issue and they basically told us that the owner cleaned it himself and that was that. You would think that having a realty company in charge of the booking would make a difference, but it didnt, they didnt give a f$*(&. We've stayed in this community before, rented a property directly from an owner and it was way cheaper and perfect, super clean, etc. I would NEVER again rent from Waterfront Keys Realty.

Positive experience: Was supposed to have basic cable on site 320. Wrong!!! It’s football playoff weekend. Absence of cable was a big deal. We’ve been coming to venture out for years but disappointed

Negative experience: If you have kids don't come here!!!! We just came from Venture Out and we had the worst five days of harassment at the Pool with our kids. The place has elderly owners that hate kids and mistreat children for no real reason. Plus the security guards are prejudice and HATE kids. Thet treat kids like they want to kill them for no reason at all. Kids are not allowed to use any types of toys in the pool. No inflatables no tubes. Nothing. They expect kids just to stand in the pool and do NOTHING. The place is very expensive to come to a vacation and have to deal with this personal harassment. Si tienen niños no vengan a este lugar. A estos Americanos no les gustan los Latinos ni los niños. No dejan jugar a los niños en la piscina. Son extremadamente groseros con los niños. Las reglas son extremadamente estúpidas. En resumidas cuentas deben de hacer el Resort exclusivamente para ancianos!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Love this vacation rental. Has a great staff
