The day before the tour we had a brief conversation in which I shared I was leaning towards renting, not buying, but I wanted to look at the place anyways. He suggested I watch a video he created debating the pros and cons of both renting and buying. He called the morning of the tour to ask if I was going to make the appointment. Quickly and easily the conversation expanded from a simple confirmation to a very informative and detailed analysis of the wide variety of homes, neighborhoods and regions of Sonoma County. We met the next morning, toured the house and I ended up confirming renting was the best option for me. He asked probing questions to determine exactly what my goals were surrounding renting a home, and focused on giving information about the various neighborhoods from Bennet Valley to Windsor, Sebastopol to Calistoga that could help me achieve my goals. My number one priority for me is to find a high quality school and welcoming kid packed community for my son to thrive in. Being a father himself, and having lived in Santa Rosa for the last 20 years, he was quick to share a wide breadth of knowledge about the current state of education in Sonoma County and inform me about the neighborhoods, schools, and districts that would help support my educational as well as social goals for my son. All of his time and attention was freely given even after I would not need his services to purchase a home. If you want a real estate agent who is extremely knowledgeable about everything related to living in Sonoma County from niche neighborhoods to the best schools, markets and parks, someone who is passionate about service and generous with their time then give Mike a call.

Experiencia fantástica: We want to praise Adam Barta from Hiraethhomes realty for one of the best experiences we’ve had in finding our next home. We started some three years ago, thinking about moving to Sonoma county and browsing lots, older homes (that we could remodel) and most agents ghosted us as soon as we did not appear to be immediately active. Adam was different, every couple of months, he put together what he was seeing and sent it to us. This continued for three years until this spring, when the house/land ticked all our boxes. Then the Adam magic really kicked in, he gave wise counsel, helped frame what the offer range could be, yet listened to us about what was important. Of course, the ending of the story was sold! But Hiraethhomes did not stop there. Amber Ferl stepped in to smooth out the closing, all the procedural steps right up to closing. The after care they provided post the sale, list of local trades to help with minor repairs, since we had not moved yet and helped with an unexpected delivery. Far beyond what we would have expected or what we have experienced in the past. We give, Adam, Amber and Hiraethhomes five stars!

I work odd hours and he would work in times to go see all the listings we were interested in with us. Throughout the searching process he was kind, patient and optimistic (which kept our optimism up). Once we decided on the place we wanted to put an offer in for, he guided us through the inns and outs; most importantly he knew what our end goal was. This made the negotiation process as simple as him calling us and having a quick 2-5 minute conversation and he took care of the rest. Once we settled, his team came into action. They set up time lines that were almost to easy to follow. Once again taking stress off us so we knew what was getting done when and what we needed to get done on our end. All of this made the closing process amazingly simplistic. Adam and his team helped get us the perfect home for our needs and I honestly believe it would have be infinitely more difficult without their guidance.
