Experiencia negativa: HOUSE HUNTING TIP: Your purchase contract should detail how disputes will be dealt with if they can’t be solved by the parties involved or with the help of their real estate agents. My understanding was that Jeff was knowledgeable in writing up my Offer to Purchase to include whatever verbiage was needed to cover pool repairs, since it was winter when I purchased the house. After all, he assured me at least four times that I would be ok because "he included it in the Offer to Purchase." Well, I was wrong. His email reply to me was the following: "As I discussed with you several times, the condition of the home is between you and the Seller. I'm not licensed to give you any legal advise or tell you how to proceed for these repairs. In the offer the Seller stated that the pool was in good working order. Going forward please consult with Mr. Polack or another attorney. Respectfully, Jeff" Good thing I have my faith because without God, I wouldn't be getting through this.
