The company consistently provides excellent service, which is why I’ve renewed my lease with them multiple times. One year, there was no rent increase at all, and the following year, the increase was very minimal. Their fairness and professionalism really stand out. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality property management company

Experiencia negativa: I should’ve known something was off the moment I saw how “perfect” the photos looked online. Like anyone else trying to find a decent place, I jumped on it fast. In person? It’s less “dream rental” and more “how is this even being shown?” Yes, the house has “potential,” if your definition of potential is a full-blown fixer-upper that somehow skipped the fixing part. I tried to give a few reasonable suggestions at first, assuming the obvious issues would already be on their radar. Clearly, that was giving them way too much credit. I toured this property FOUR times—alone and with family—and every single time there were roaches. Not one, not two—every visit, different areas. But don’t worry, they proudly claimed a “professionals” said it was no issues. Right… so the roaches must just be part of the decor. And the droppings throughout the home? I guess that’s their version of staging. Cleaning it? Apparently that’s a job reserved for whoever is unlucky enough to move in. They did “fix” the screen door, which is honestly impressive because it somehow looks just as bad—if not worse. It’s crooked, filthy, and barely functional. Replacing it would’ve made too much sense, so of course that didn’t happen. The rest of the house? Stains everywhere, chipping paint, cracks throughout—basically everything you’d expect in a place no one has cared about in years. When I pointed it out, they blamed it on the house being “old.” No, this isn’t charm—this is neglect. Nobody is trying to pay $1500 to live in what feels like a roach-infested “cracked” house. And let’s talk about the listing photos—because wow. Between what looks like AI edits and strategically angled shots, they’ve managed to advertise a completely different property. It’s honestly impressive how misleading it is. If you’re thinking about sending money before seeing it in person, don’t—unless you enjoy surprises like this. The best part? I was approved. But the second I started asking for these very basic issues to be addressed BEFORE handing over $1,500 in non-refundable money, suddenly I wasn’t a “good fit.” Translation: they don’t want tenants who actually expect a livable home. If you think this is exaggerated, I have photos that say otherwise. Believe the negative reviews—they’re there for a reason. I read them and stayed cautious, and I’m glad I did. Otherwise, I would’ve been paying to live in a dirty, run-down mess with roaches. Honestly, at that point, the roaches should’ve been splitting the rent—they clearly already live there.

Experiencia positiva: We went for a showing and the house was in ok condition. I think the major thing we didn't like about the house was it smelt like cigarettes so bad. Right when you walk in all you smell is like someone smoked a 10 pack of cigarettes.

Experiencia negativa: This company has the worst property manager I have ever encountered she was charging for different things every month that I wasn’t supposed to be charged for and she charged me for plumbing and no one I know unless they own there house pays for plumbing if there renting . Every month my rent was a different price for something and on top of that they blocked my number so I couldn’t reach anyone in the office by phone. I left the end of January and she is trying to charge me for February rent on top of cleaning fees but I put a lot of money getting the house clean and and prepared for move out even spent money to get the carpet cleaned and she still is trying to charge me for that and I sent emails and pictures of everything I did and receipts and gave explanations for stuff and I’m still being charged . I don’t recommend this property management company to nobody. Save your money and find something better and the fact that I was on section 8 and she was doing all of this is beyond ridiculous. My new place is so much better than that trashy house they had me living in oh and they didn’t wanna do any updates to the house or Change anything carpet was dirty when I got there but she charged me for cleaning the carpet when I left even though I got it professionally cleaned before I left ridiculous. So if you come across the 735 Arthur ave yea just bypass that one management is horrible! It really was a 2 year nightmare and she was switching stuff up in my lease without me knowing horrible! Attached is pictures showing the house and that everything was cleaned and repaired before i moved and what i didn’t get done I sent emails about since they blocked my number. And the foundation is coming apart in the house the walls were splitting .

Experiencia negativa: Dealing with them with a complete waste of my time and my former landlord‘s time. After providing them with all of my information and verification and them speaking with my landlord, they denied me because my I paid my landlord in cash and I had receipts and not money orders Receipts is ridiculous. Mind you anything they wanted to know they could have verified it with my landlord at the time!! They still haven’t rented that house to nobody, and it’s still sitting on the market collecting no money at least I would’ve paid the rent, but whatever.

Experiencia positiva: The viewing was self-guided, which made things feel more comfortable and access into the unit felt user-friendly with the lockbox on the front door. Much appreciated the clutter free space which left a good first impression to include driving through the neighborhood at dusk.

It’s not often that I’ve run across a company that pays attention and actually cares. This level of dedication should be the standard in the industry. I’m very grateful for them!

Experiencia negativa: This company is very difficult to deal with. I understand that working with the public is difficult, but this is the field they have chosen. Using them to manage your property becomes miserable because you cannot talk or ask a question without emailing and requesting a call back. It takes a LOT of work to just to get answers and solutions therefore hiring someone to manage actually causes your life to become more stressful. They might find a renter for you but whatever background they claim to do, still results in a bad renter. They seem to all be disgruntled and if you want more problems, hire them.

It is regrettable that a group of privileged individuals has engaged in harassment, threats, and defamation against your company. This situation could have been avoided if Staley Hampton had communicated his desire to live elsewhere to his mother, rather than resorting to such actions. Nothing was a scam, the house is clearly real and my home, and if he couldn't afford the home he should have just expressed that to your company and to his mother. Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional and lazy workers and a half-baked company combine to make for an awful time which is what I had. In all my time of renting never have I ever came across a dumpster fire like this one. If I were to stand up, go outside and pickup a rock, I would’ve likely had a more pleasant customer experience. Stay away from this company for any real estate needs or otherwise.

They scam you and can't even spell things correctly on their website so you know they're trying to get you for your money and then decline you. Was told that a security deposit had to be put down BEFORE even seeing my lease and that it's non refundable, so if I didn't get the place that I applied for that security deposit would've been gone. They also never answer the phone and when they do it's with an attitude. Im gladly taking my business elsewhere because not only is every single one of the employees that works for this company unprofessional, but they act as if their job is hard and that they can't help their customers unless they feel like it.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE! They are easy to rent from, because they will try to keep your deposit and charge you more than they should so they can do renovations on the property after you move. A word to the wise do not rent from these people and if you do and they try to screw you over, take them to court like I did and I won!! Actually they called us with an offer because they knew they were dead wrong. People do what you let them do to see if they can get away with it and this company will definitely try to screw you over. Take lots of pic when you move in and out so when they do try to screw you over you can sue them back!!

All terms of the property management contract were clearly explained and fairly rated regarding management fees. I had a challenging tenant when she first assumed the responsibility of managing the property. She sailed through the transition and ensured the unit was refurbished and ready for rental listing as soon as possible. I can only imagine all of the behind-the-scenes work / effort and coordination of services that went into making that happen. At no point was I contacted, unless necessary, which I appreciated. Everything was smoothly "handled" by Desirable Management. All payments from the tenants over the years were received promptly upon DESIRABLE Management receiving and processing them. When a tenant needed encouragement to relocate for non payment of rent, Ms. Kirkendall handled that process with class and promptness and ensured a new tenant was placed ASAP. And finally, I will be forever grateful that Ms. Kirkendall was able to secure a sale of the property when I was ready to sell. The sales process was quick and seamless. When I moved in I did the move in sheet , the rug is coming up From its corners, the bedroom doors were All beat up, like Mike Tyson lived here, the front door also is all beat up, the place was dirty, Kitchen Cabinets about to fall off of the Wall, the bathroom door is a model from The early eighties, all beat up! The walls Itself were never painted, still has groves in the wall from last tenant. They make you pay 20.00 a month for filters for the Heater! Also the bath tub is peeling, needs Remodeling, the kitchen floor is cracking, She never came in and made repairs! Please do not rent from this Company! The Company needs to be shut down!

They always communicate with you about maintenance inspections and anything else that you need to be aware of. Desirable management is probably the first rental property that I can say is very professional. All the way from viewing of the property to just checking up on you. You never have to worry about missing rent payment because they send out a friendly reminder. Rent is affordable for all their properties and in my opinion will not hurt your pockets. But you know what you can afford. Definitely will be staying here for awhile.

God forbid you refuse it she will threaten eviction even when rent is paid in full and on time. And she steals your security. Beware!!!!! Interesting how they continue the lies...I was never evicted we were threatened with eviction if we didn't cut the grass when they wanted. If we didn't pay their maintenance person cash money to fix things they poorly put up to begin with. A medicine cabinet tell off the wall why because they didn't prepare it properly the first time. As far as a receipt for deposit no we never got a list of damages. No way in the world there was 700 worth of damages. So as I said Buyer Beware. I am sure the positive comments are faked DO NOT RENT from them they are SCAM ARTIST
