Experiencia negativa: I live at Patterson crossing. Water has leaked in my unit since 6 13 25 damaged my entire bedroom set. Pooring from the ceiling. Msintenance set it outside on the lawn today. Know one ABSOLUTELY no one has came out til today the 6 24th 2025. I am a senior now on the floor, no since of urgency. Janette Wellington regional person have not returned any calls since 6 13 35. She has a lack of compassion for senior and elderly. The Reception stated she gave her every message that was gave to give. This is the today's world
Experiencia negativa: If you are buying a home in a neighborhood that uses this company as the HOA, save yourself the head ache and DO NOT buy the house or live at a property that they manage. They are the absolute worst HOA on the planet. They raise fees and decrease services. They never respond to emails or phone calls. They hire lawn service companies that do not show up weekly and when they do show up they damage your property. This company does not deserve a one star rating, but this is the lowest rating available.

Experiencia negativa: I'd like to give 0 stars. My husband and I were wrongfully denied based on a court record that does not belong to either of us with proof provided. They took our money and won't return it. I was called a liar and treated like dirt. Waited for the denial letter for it to only state "Rental history" we've maybe had 1 or 2 late fees between 3 apartments that we've had. This is wrong and baffling that a company can operate this way. Corporate avoids calls and lies. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want money stolen from you.

Experiencia negativa: The administrators at both Córdoba Apartments and Church Creek Apartments (Andrea and Carolyn) have been extremely helpful, positive, cheerful and professional during the inquiry phase of our apartment search. When they answer the phone, my husband and I feel as if we are the only customers! Andrea, in particular, has worked tirelessly and earnestly to assist us in our endeavors. I just love the way Andrea answers the phone and the way she pays such attention to detail. I look forward to the next phase of our interactions with Andrea. As I am certain you know, Andrea (and Carolyn) are assets to your team. We are grateful to have met them. Unfortunately, during our one-year stay at Cordoba, we had three different managers. I am not sure of the name of the final manager who gave us two late notices when we were never late and failed to return emails and phone calls related to our security deposit which was never returned. After paying to live in a hotel for three months while our townhome was being remodeled, we found ourselves in a beautiful townhome, but, unbeknownst to us, our $1500/month townhome was located in the back nested between two section-8 tenants. We had to go up 15 steps to get to our front door and up another 18 steps to get to the primary bedroom. After a several months of water dripping from the top floor to the bottom, it was evident that water damage and mold had been covered and painted. This mold coupled with the smoke from the apartment door caused us to have very poor air quality in the unit. With all of the unhoused people in the world, I am grateful for the initial customer care and for what appeared to have been a well managed, safe place. Unfortunately, the maladministration, water damage, poor air quality, and a neighbor whose loud voice and loud music were outstanding overshadowed our initial impressions. Although we left a month before our lease ended, paid in full, cleaned and vacuumed the house, left appliances and cabinets cleaned, we are still waiting on our security deposit. (We have photographs and videos). I do not want to be anywhere near Harrison & Lear during reaping season. I do not recommend Cordoba at all.

Really bad customer service every year they go up on their cost. you can never get anyone on the phone even when you email them request it takes days before you get a response and when you do get a response from the rep they’re really rude I’ve lived in my condo for over six years every year the Cost go up meanwhile our landscape is not upkeep. Lights are always out , the water fountain was not turned on all summer & landscaping in our area has not shown any improvement or any type of upgrades within the last five years. My husband and I are currently looking forward to moving.

This experience has left me beyond frustrated and I am highly disappointed. My husband and I were excited to possibly be moving into a new space but it seems that now that they have our holding fee they no longer care about communicating. I would leave 0 stars if at all possible. Prospective tenants do yourself a favor and seek an apartment elsewhere

Experiencia negativa: Hellos. I had a pretty funny experience with this place. I applied and was told to send my information sent all information required . Then I was asked for unrequited paperwork. I record all my phone calls for my business. When I refused to send in more information which was not legal to ask for when I already sent in all documents that was needed. I was denied because I refused to sent more information when I gave more then enough while being insulted then sent a letter saying I was denied for false information. I have no issue. I just want to warn people of my culture I put this application in on the 20 of last month since then was told to send extra document after document. I sure the nature of what it is but this is America no love lost. I would suggest stay away.

But Ms. Karolyn eased my fears and made process for applying for the apartment a breeze. She was there every step of the way to answer any questions that either I or my husband had. She made this such a great experience! My husband and I look forward to becoming future residents! Please give her a raise she definitely deserves it!
Experiencia positiva: This review is for Andrea, over at John's Creek. I am a future resident at the property. I was in the office and watched as Andrea helped a very upset tenant fix a series of problems that had been ignored by the previous manager. I understand the property has been through several in recent months, I hope she will be here to stay as it is clear the property hasn't had a stable everyday available manager. My only reason for a 4 and not a 5, is that Andrea is only there for a month to help. So l am very concerned to not have someone there after that time frame should anything go wrong on the property. I had been told by 2 tenants as I scoped it out they were clearly shocked to see her there! Also Chris the maintenance man, I'm excited to have around as he was very clearly running around trying to get a women's washer to work and have the right parts ordered. Clear communication is important to me both at work and my home, it's clear he's good and thorough at what he does!

She is very friendly, very helpful and most of all very professional, honest and knowledgeable. Harrison & Lear made the right decision to make Carolyn a team member. She is a true jewel and a gem!

Experiencia negativa: Can't get a hold of anyone. No one return to calls or emails for days, or you get no response at all. Has a calling center for people who don't even live near or work at the locations they just "Relay Messages" and they can't give you any information to contact someone or really help you.

Experiencia negativa: Receptionist is rude, picks up and hangs up on you and always has an attitude and manager of John creek apartments is never available and constantly having issues with the management over Johns creek apartments
Experiencia positiva: I’ve lived here for 3 years now and it’s been quiet and peaceful. I like the small size of the complex. The office personnel are polite and pleasant to speak with. Ms. Carolyn listens and helps with any issues as much as she can.

They have many properties and one of them was perfect for my daughter. Experiencia negativa: No communication, very unprofessional. We've been dealing with them for two years and the service is worse than ever. They "manage" the HOA of our neighborhood and absolutely refuse to take phone calls (the receptionist tells you the person "just stepped out"). Or, will put you through to a voice mail of someone who stopped working there months prior! Will not return phone messages and very minimal email responses. We maintain our property and pay our HOA fees six months in advance...would hate to know how they treat people who aren't paid up. If you deal with this company, be prepared for subpar communications.
Experiencia negativa: H&L managed our single family home for 4+ years. Good in the beginning but bad towards the end. Many personnel changes. One tenant duped us of rent for 4 months totaling $4600 we still have not received. They told me, “The lawyers are working on it.” This has been a battle for almost 3 years now. They always said they would get back with me but they never did. I always had to initiate the contact to get assistance. Still not resolved. Very disappointing to treat your customers that way. I hope they read this.

Experiencia negativa: As managers of the HOA for my property, they are either incompetent or incredibly lazy. They are quick to send a nasty certified letter but are unable to follow the simplest of requests. I asked for pictures of a violation and it took them three months to send four poor quality photos. We had a detailed conversation and then the very next day they send another certified letter, like we hadn’t spoken. Make sure you document everything with them.

Experiencia negativa: This company is ridiculous, they try there best to find something wrong so they don't have to give you your security deposit back. $200 for maintenance to do their job and paint the apartment/ house ( they want you to do it), $100 for them to change a light bulb, $150 for a set of replacement blinds, they want the carpet professionally cleaned ( even though it wasn't when you move in) the woman Jennifer is rude, even when you request to do a walk through with her, she goes behind your back and do it by herself, even though you have your move in list of what was wrong when you moved in. Everything that maintenance gets paid to do they want the tenants to take care of it... If you can help it never rent from this company

The new property manager Cimberly never answer the phone. Also, we get new propert managers often and the residents aren’t notified.The water bugs out here are horrible and townhomes are outdated. I can wait until my lease is up!
Experiencia negativa: Don't use this company. Communication is terrible. It took weeks to get answers about our house. Come to find out the answers were lies. I had to have a neighbor tell me that the tenants had moved out two months prior. Harrison & Lear' s agent said everything was good. Long story short had to wait for official eviction process to get old tenants out. Still told home is fine. They tried to rent it for 4 months with no luck. We fired them and got new property managers. The house is trashed; terrible paint touch ups, broken cabinets, holes in the wall, etc. No wonder they could never get it rented. Now magically more"maintenance" bills are being charged to us, taking away what cash was left in our account. Did I mention that the told us they were having yard service done(at cost to us) only to get fined from the city for not keeping the yard up to par. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! By the way I won't call them out by name, but some of the reviewers on here work at Harrison & Lear. (Bias much)
Experiencia fantástica: I deal with and know most management companies in the Hampton Roads area, that being said Harrison and Lear is the most reputable and trustworthy. These guys ensure that your association/home/apartment are managed correctly and their team is experienced and has an excellent reputation with other firms and the city which makes them effective at what they do. Harrison and Lear apartment communities offer great amenities and value for residents. I specifically recommend Linda Ellis, Johnathan, and Mike Kwiatek for managing such a great team of people.
Experiencia negativa: Horrible company, try getting an answer of someone on the phone... They call it property Management but it is really just a money grab.. They run HOA's that don't do their job meanwhile stuffing their pockets with home owners money.. Complete fraud..
Experiencia negativa: I was appauled at the lack of professionalism of the individual I was required to contact when I purchased property managed by Harrison & Lear. She was hostile on the telephone, refused to answer my questions, told me to find the answers in the 200+ pages of condo docs that had been sent to me, and was one of the rudest individuals I have encountered in my professional career. Not a positive experience, and I would warn folks to be cautious with "Liz".
