That is, we decided to leave the California city we had lived in for our entire 37 years of marriage and the home we had lived in for 26 years and to move to Whatcom County in northwest Washington State. Our seller's real estate agent in California suggested we interview agents in Whatcom County to find an agent who would represent us as buyers. We interviewed three agents, all of whom seemed experienced and professional. However, Kate stood out from the others in that she provided timely and detailed information about her experience representing buyers and sellers. She also stood out from the others with her knowledge of the various cities, communities, and neighborhoods in Whatcom County. We chose Kate to represent us as buyers. We moved to Whatcom County in early 2022 and rented while we looked for a home. Our ideas of where we wanted to live and what kind of home we wanted to buy evolved as we became more familiar with Whatcom County.
