Experiencia negativa: Lied about move in dates. Changed it on the post after being cleared to apply and move in and then wouldn’t refund application fee after changing move in date. When approached about dissatisfaction, this company ghosted. There’s a million agents in the area so save yourself the heart ache since they want to be shady. Can only imagine what it’s like to live in their properties if this is how they do business.

Since we weren’t able to see the property in person, we didn’t know exactly what to expect but Jamie and the team at La Belle Vie made the entire process incredibly smooth. They were always quick to answer any questions and provided excellent communication between us and the homeowners. There were a few logistical hurdles before our move in, but their responsiveness made a huge difference. Jamie even went above and beyond on move in day, she knew we were driving from TN to NC with a toddler and dogs, so she made sure the home was spotless and personally handed us the keys, making our transition stress-free. Now 1.5 years later, we’re still just as impressed. Any time we’ve submitted work orders, the team has handled them with professionalism, great communication, and attention to detail. We’re so happy we chose Jamie and her team to help us find a home here in North Carolina!

She is very easy to communicate with and very responsive to any texts or questions that we may have, regardless of how ridiculous they may be. Experiencia fantástica: We are a military family and first time landlords. Being unsure of the future and potential to return to the NC area, we decided to keep our home and rent it out. We were given La Belle Vie property’s information and I contacted Jaime long before we had an availability date so I could meet with her and just get an understanding of the process. Jaime is incredibly forthcoming. She was the second property management firm I had spoken with and some of the things she let me know about property management just helped me get a better understanding on where to hold my expectations. Once we had a date set Jaime was quick to plan a day to come take pictures of the property and got it listed that day! With lots of homes in our neighborhood up for rent and several having been up for months I was a little nervous how things would go. Jaime was able to secure great tenants for us within a short period of time, which helped up immensely as we were in the process of purchasing a new home at our current duty station. Jaime and Orin are extremely communicative and easy to get ahold of.

As a military family renting out our home for the first time, we were nervous about handing over the keys to something so personal to us. Jamie made that process seamless from day one. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Jamie’s communication is incredible, she’s always responsive, even outside of normal business hours. Whether it was a quick check-in or a more serious issue, she never left us wondering. Every month, she gave us updates on the condition of the house and how the tenants were doing. If something needed attention, she handled it quickly and professionally, always keeping us in the loop. What really stood out to us is how much Jamie cares. She has a lot of properties to manage, but you would never know it. She made us feel like we were her only clients, taking time to ask about our family, our kids, and even just how we were holding up with the challenges of military life. That personal touch is something you don’t find often. Jamie truly understands military families, and that our circumstances can be unpredictable and stressful, and she goes out of her way to make things easier. We always felt like she had our best interests at heart, and we know she’s equally great with the tenants she manages. If you’re looking for a property manager in the Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Pinehurst, or Whispering Pines area, I can’t recommend Jamie highly enough. She’s not just a fantastic property manager; she’s a genuinely good person who is passionate about what she does. We’re so grateful for all she’s done for us and would confidently recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Jamie, for taking care of our home like it was your own!

Experiencia negativa: I am a first time landlord and decided to rent out my very first home as opposed to selling because of the sentimental value it had to me in hopes to keep it in the family down the road. I lived in it for about 2 years and did numerous renovations to it. Brand new flooring, $10k on a brand new porch, etc. I was given La Belle Vie from a friend to list and show the house for me and had a lot of interest the day it was listed. I reviewed a few applications and was told that one in particular was “stellar” and being naive and not having the potential tenants name up front, I went with the recommendation of the property manager and accepted. The second I received her name I googled her - girl had an existing charge for obtaining property under false pretense. Not sure how their “background check” completely missed that, and no it had not been dismissed or fully processed in the courts yet. When I brought up my concern the only response was “it didn’t come up” and “it was dismissed”. It was in fact not dismissed. There is absolutely no way an extensive background check was conducted - just by googling the girl I found that and two summary ejectments filed against her. Highly suggested finding a new source to conduct these because I shouldn’t have been the only one finding that. Do better. Second her application said single woman working at x place bringing in x amount.. also ended up not being the truth. It was 4 occupants 3 of which were minors, and when I asked for the lease to reflect “3 minor occupants” I was literally told I was “discriminating” against the children. I was not discriminating, I just wanted my lease to reflect the correct number of individuals in the house for liability reasons. I at the time was also a single mother, and did not have anything against that whatsoever but I have always in the past been required to put one minor occupant on my lease. So no I was not discriminating against them and that was a very rude comment to make on the property managers behalf. Later on it became FIVE occupants the fifth being a full grown adult, and here I was not being able to resolve this because the lease only stated one and I had already “ignored the 3 others”. THIRD. The tenant has paid rent on time TWICE, once being the check she was required to give the day of move in. During all of this I was pregnant. The lack of thorough background check on this applicant had caused me SO much stress during an already trying time on my body. At the end of the day I understand that there will be bad tenants and sometimes it’s just luck of the draw… however I had concerns from the start and they were dismissed with no solution, just a shrug of the shoulders. Every concern I had at move in was brushed off and it felt as if she wiped her hands of me and could’ve cared less that the person she recommended was in fact NOT truthful one bit on her application. This is a continuing issue and I am having to go to court to evict a tenant who has now abandoned and completely destroyed all of the hard work that I put into this home. I have numerous family members in real estate and they are in shock with how this was handled from the day of move in. I do not recommend La Belle Vie and I will continue to inform my Military friends who are looking to rent their property out to look elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Jaime did not look over the candidates for my property well at all. I would never use her again or refer her to anyone. I have had nothing but issues since day one. I absolutely do not recommend using this agency.

I will only go though Jamie from now on because she gives this experience a homey vibe and what more can you ask for.
