Experiencia negativa: They Didn’t know anything about the house they were selling. Came off super sketchy. Definitely didn’t get a good feeling from them. They also could give us the common courtesy that the utilities tried to contact them about some issues right before selling to us. I have proof that they were contacted before the sell was complete and they choose to ignore it. Had a friend use them as buyer and eventually fired them after they messed up paperwork and tried to alter it.

Arnie handled the sale of our townhome in Longmont, Colorado while we were serving in the Peace Corps. He arranged for a professional showing and assisted with all the numerous details needed to successfully conduct a sale. We received top price for our unit at the time and we did not have to travel back to Colorado to sign any paperwork. This was a huge relief as we were actively serving in Cuenca, Ecuador when our sale was being conducted. If we ever decide to purchase another property, we will certainly contact Sharp Realty as they are "tops" in our book!

Arnie and Tina took an appropriate amount of time to assess every aspect of selling my home. They went above & beyond when it came to marketing & providing outside resources. They recommended a handyman (Zac Martin) and a staging professional (Theresa ?) who were great. They paid for the staging consultation and photography, including drone shots and digital staging. They walked around my neighborhood promoting my open house. Very thorough. 2). Behind the scenes effort (5/5 stars). Arnie spent a lot of time working behind the scenes to ensure all documentation was complete prior to closing. This was a giant headache due to the nature of our deal and it was greatly appreciated. Also, I had to leave town for a family emergency the night we listed and Arnie & Tina finished staging my home the morning of my open house. They expressed concern for my personal situation, as well, which was nice. 3). Referrals (5/5 stars). Arnie & Tina knew I was reluctant to hire them because I have a friend who’s a realtor. They paid him a substantial referral fee out of their own pocket. 4). Thoughtfulness (5/5 stars). Arnie & Tina gave me a nice gift at closing, which was unexpected. I won’t ruin the surprise for future clients. Cons(-ish): 1) Communication (4/5 stars). Arnie used some verbiage that had me on the defensive when assessing my home. Although honest, I was caught off-guard with some of the descriptive words he used, i.e. “We don’t want anyone to think you *abused* your home.” That’s one example. Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People” would recommend finding a different way to say “Let’s fix these things before we list to maximize offer potential.” I took Arnie’s words as though HE thought I abused my home. There were two instances where Arnie’s excuse for not communicating with urgency was “I (am/was) at a (insert personal meeting).” Tip for Arnie: It’s okay to have personal convictions; just never let your client know they’re not your number one priority. To his credit, he did apologize once and it wasn’t anything detrimental. I think Arnie & Tina did a fine job. Did they do more than the buyer’s agent? Absolutely. Did they do more than any competent seller’s agent would do? Maybe. Did we sell my house with a limited amount of road blocks? Yes. Overall, 5/5 stars.
