We walked through the house going into every room and basement. After his walk through he advised me it would needed a lot of renovations before listing it.. but I already new this. He listened to our needs and recommended a house right away. We got to see the house on day 3. Made an offer on day 4. By day 5, we got the offer accepted at a price we were quite happy with. Robert somehow knew what we would like better than we did. We had seen this house online earlier, but ruled it out because the way the photos came out. But the house felt different in person. So we are glad it worked out. He then found us a very good home inspector and identified many issues with the house (which helps with price negotiation). Robert is very good at price negotiation. During the offer round and price deduction negotiation after home inspection, he correctly estimated what the seller would accept. He also probably saved us another $10K with the one extra push that he does each time. The house was already slightly above our price range, so he knew every bit helps and gave us his best effort. He is also very experienced and knowledgable home construction/repairs, landscaping, and about the town of Lexington. He also gave us many referrals for various services, carpenter, electrician, landscaping, etc. When we said Robert referred us, those guys called us back pretty quick.
