Fantastic experience: My family of 8 was needing to view homes in the Shreveport/Bossier area after we decided to buy, rather than rent. Kimberly Head and her husband immediately jumped in, on a Sunday no less, to show us a home with almost no notice. She and the Coldwell Banker Shreveport team were diligent to help us to navigate obstacles, difficult sellers, errors in our title report processing, and even the moving in check-list and tasks that not everyone thinks of when moving to a new town. We had a personal assistant resourced to us basically in Addie, who made sure we knew what to do and what to expect after our offer was accepted and when every required step was to be completed by. She made sure we knew who to call to get all our utilities transferred and even when to do it so that everything went smoothly. She and Kim even patiently and compassionately listened to me vent when things were stressful. We even got a free moving van to use for the weekend! These things were priceless to me. One of the most AMAZING things that this team did for us, that speaks to their diligence and care to go above and beyond for our family, was what they did when the title company found a judgment in someone who shared husband's first and last name and insisted we pay almost $1400. This judgment was from 2013, didn't have any other identifying information that matched my husband like DOB, middle initial, SSN, address, phone #, or anything other than it was for a paint store and my husband just happened to have previously been a full-time painter. We were assured by the title co. attorney that we would just need the judgement attorney to confirm the two Nathans weren't the same and we could move on with the closing, no additional charge to us. That's not what happened We were hit with an official letter from the attorney, charges increased with interest and fees, for almost $5000 the week before we were to close. As you can imagine, I was extremely distraught, especially when our lender said they could not honor our mortgage loan request with this line out there. It didn't matter that I had confirmed the other Nathan's name was Marc, his phone # and address were not my Nathan's, and that my Nathan had never done business with the suing company, AND that the lawyer did not have any identification for the owner of the debt other than first and last name. None of this mattered to anyone involved in the title process and the lawyer said it was ours, so we were hitched with it, forced to pay it if we didn't want to be homeless. That is, no one cared but our AMAZING Coldwell-Banker Team!!! Once Kim got wind of what was happening, she called Shelley Wagner herself and our salvation was summoned! Shelley had her attorney husband get on board and they were able to go to the Caddo courthouse to pull the court record. This provided us with the SSN, DOB, and other necessary information to prove to the other attorneys that they weren't dealing with the owner of the debt and it forced them to acknowledge their mistake and to apologize for their lack of due diligence and poor way they handled the situation. The Shelley Wagner Coldwell-Banker Team could have just assumed we weren't being honest about our debts. Instead, they went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. Shelley even stepped in an rebuked the attorney for the way he treated me in the process and he graciously apologized for his behavior AND covered the filing fee for the Letter of Proof that the debt wasn't ours. The Lord blessed us with the most AMAZING home buying process and I have no doubt that it was because He sent Kimberly Head and the Shelley Wagner Coldwell-Banker Team to take care of us and our precious family. The Kennedys would recommend these realtors for all of your home buying and selling needs. You'll be getting much, much more than just realtors. You'll be getting advocates, advisors, counselors, and family to help you through one of life's most stressful processes. Don't settle for less by going to anyone else.
