Fantastic experience: I have been a tenant of MVP Realty for 5 years. Valerie and Matthew, have been a fair, pleasant and wonderful people to rent from. Then came a time that I needed to sell my home for a family emergency, and quickly. MVP was the most obvious group that I knew well and felt comfortable with. Marti took the time to gather essential data about my property and recent sales of other similar duplexes before presenting to me a plan that would create interest in my duplex. Fantastic experience: My family needed a property manager to take care of renting our mother's house. Matthew and Trish of MVP was responsive to our questions and made sure we understood all aspects of their service. As we went forward we were pleased with their response to us as owners and also to the needs of the renters. We had to replace the hot water heater almost immediately after the renters moved in. MVP was on it quickly. They did a good job quickly for a reasonable price. The maintenance team was as professional and as responsive as the office staff. When the time came to sell Mom's house, Marti took over our account. She evaluated the house and lined out the maintenance team to clean, paint and refresh the house. Within a month, we were ready to list the house. After a discussion about price and strategies, we were satisfied we were on the right path. We were lucky: in one weekend we got 20+ offers and accepted a solid offer early the next week. Closing was organized. We had support throughout the entire process. For our family in our situation, MVP was an excellent choice.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with MVP as our property manager and with selling our home. After moving across the country and having a devastating experience with another realtor trying to sell our home, MVP swooped in and got our home sold for our full asking price! Along the way, they provided clarity, transparency, and gave meaningful guidance. Marti was incredible to work with- she was so organized, supportive, and was a great communicator. She was always on the ball through everything! Trish, Matthew, and many others provided excellent services along the way and it was nothing short of smooth and impressive. Highly recommend reaching out to them!

Negative experience: I moved out of the referred property about 45 days ago and can now give an honest review with a clear conscious. BLUF, I do not recommend MVP property because of my experience as stated below. From my perspective, the property manager we had from MVP, Trish, was neither very helpful nor transparent through the duration of our less than one year stay in that house. All was well in the beginning as we signed for the house site unseen, in January, due to our short timeline from our military permanent change of station (PCS) to the PNW. While we conducted our walk through prior to signing for the keys the property mngr. told me that the owners were interested in selling the house, because I knew I would be stationed at JBLM for a year I told her that I wanted to buy the house but would rent it until we could get the owners ok to do that. I also told her that I would need to close on the house prior June of the same year so that I could use my VA loan and be allowed to rent the house once I was able to PCS again in a year. She told me she would find out the details and get back to me with the necessary information to buy the house. After that day, it was nearly impossible to reach her through their company automated telephone service they use. I did manage to talk to her a month or so later and was told the same thing, “I will find out and get back with you” and still nothing after that. The time came and went, and it passed the June timeline I gave her to close on the house. Out of the blue in September, she contacted me to let me know she would be sending the lease renewal for the following year. Again, after that call I didn’t get an email nor a phone call until October to tell me that the owners weren’t going to allow me to renew as we had agreed upon at the beginning of the lease. However, I was given an ultimatum of either extending the lease until 28FEB2026 or staying with the current end date of the lease of 31DEC2025. With my military retirement orders already in hand for a JBLM departure of mid-June 2026 I knew that it would be nearly impossible to lease a house for less than six-month contract. I explained to her what a horrible situation they are putting us in and she told me “you should lower your standards and downsize, you are in a big house by yourself,” I really had to hold my composure when she said that and realized it was a lost cause to talk at a professional level with her. After scrambling to find a short-term rental that met my alleged “high standards,” I assumed that completing some good cleaning, spot painting, and carpet cleaning I would be able to recoup the entirety of my deposit. That was not the case, she claimed that I used the wrong paint. Not sure how because I used the same paint the owners left in the attic and charged me $483.12 to repaint five walls. I asked for a receipt, and she sent a made-up receipt from MVP with no pictures nor the name of the paint company who did the alleged work. Under RCW 59.18.280, landlords must include copies of invoices paid or estimates received to justify damage charges and of course this was not done. I took pictures and video of the entire property prior to returning the keys with the anticipation of MVP continuing its lack of transparency. I absolutely hate the way the entirety of how this was done, in the end I had to scramble to find a new place with a short timeline and on top of all this I was not ever offered to buy the house. I believe to have been a good tenant with the intent of buying this house as an investment property but none of this ever came to fruition. If there was something I was missing that was also not conveyed to us. Not part of the business side of this but the human side, my father-in-law passed away during the holidays which added to the mounting frustration and anxiety of the entire situation. Again, I can’t state this any louder that I DO NOT recommend MVP to anyone. Not even my ex-wife. I will also send a copy of this review to the BBB and AGO’s office for transparency.

Fantastic experience: Worked with MVP for two years as our property management team. Their team did a wonderful job of meeting our expectations as homeowners from afar. No bad experiences with them taking care of our property and eventually assisting us in the selling of this home. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a real estate company this is who you want. I don't have just one transaction with them, I have a 6 year relationship and would do it again. I started working with MVP as a rental management company in 2015. Over the 6 years I rented my house out, I only had 2 different renters because of how carefully MVP selected the renters and how well they took care of them. This not only lessened the wear and tear on the house, it made for a great experience for me and my renters. I decided to take advantage of the market in 2021 and was concerned I'd have to fly across the country to get the house ready to sell. Matthew and Valerie ensured me they could handle it and made countless trips to the house to get it in pristine condition. Their work paid off when Matt used his tactful and strategic negotiating skills to get 50K over asking. You won't regret working with them.

Fantastic experience: We just closed on our new house with the help of the awesome Folks at MVP! I had the pleasure of meeting Kimberly, Madison, Matthew and working closely with Kennon. Fantastic experience: I wish we would have had Matt, Valerie and their team manage our rental for us. It has been one big headache and Matt's experience and expertise would have brought peace of mind. Saving money by managing it ourselves was not worth it! We are now selling it with Matt but if we kept it, we would be having MVP manage it.

Negative experience: Contacted them after finding a house for rent with their sign on it. When I called the number - I got voicemail. No problem. I left a message. I waited 2 days and heard nothing back -- so, did a search for MVP reality group and called their main number. I was told that the listing was being handled by a specific agent and offered that number. When I told them I had already called that person and had not heard back ---- they took my information and assured me that I would get a call back. I didn't. They have no problem putting their name on a sign for free publicity - but then don't take responsibility for the listing when it comes down to actually doing something with it. I would not use them if you are a home owner -- getting your property rented is clearly not a priority for them.

Fantastic experience: Awesome company. As home owners, renting out our home- we went through 2 other companies before finding MVP and they are amazing! Matthew and his team are always kind, assertive and helpful. They always have up to date information pertaining to our property and are able to answer any and all questions we have. Communication with them is great also. We are always kept in the loop with what is happening in our home. We recently discovered several lease violations tenants had in our home and MVP began working the issue and serving notices within 24 hours to remedy all violations. This company 100% has the home owners best interest in mind when working with your tenants and handling your home. I would and will highly recommend to everyone I know. We cannot wait to sell our home with Matthew and his team later this year!

Negative experience: Being in centralia I had to travel to see a house and not just once but twice was I cancelled on for a drive to the inlet coast so it’s obviously a one star and what’s worse is the lies I was given. This place is realty gone wrong and mvp, no more like no vp.

Fantastic experience: People help it just buy a house and have sold houses for many of my customers and are absolutely amazing. They hold your hand through the entire process so for a first-time home buyer like we were that was a real bonus. It is also evident that they care about their customers and put their customers first.

Fantastic experience: Mathew and his team helped my family find our first home. They are extremely knowledgable, responsive, and are ethical. Additionally, they used a web/mobile chat app called Glip (a big bonus for modern families like ours), which helped all of his team members and my family members stay in constant (and quite immediate) contact throughout the entire process. I'm a customer for life (buying or selling)!

Negative experience: Mr. Plummer intentionally stalled a response to an inspection in order to keep our earnest money for himself. After this, he still called me and asked me to retain him as our realtor! We informed him that we would tell others to avoid his agency. His response? “I have plenty of business; I’m sorry this transaction didn’t work out for you.” It appears that others have had good experiences, which is great, but there are so many good realtors in the area. Why choose one so arrogant and dishonest?

Matthew, Kimberly, and Francine provided a level of service beyond my every expectation. I have had many very good Brokers in the past. However, the MVP team raised the bar far above my former standard of excellence. Matthew thoroughly researched the market in my area. To the extent that his team had more information and tools some local agents didn't know about or simply chose not to mention. Finite attention was given to every detail. Selling a home in a highly technical area came with unique demands. Demands that MVP met with impressive skill and ease. MVP provided online tools and real-time messaging between myself and an entire team of professionals. If you appreciate full transparency, hard work, and most of all results; MVP Realty Group cannot be out done. The rate they charge was below even their closest comparable competition in my opinion. You hit my sale and subsequent home purchase experience "out of the park”! Thank you MVP.

Negative experience: Worst business experience I have ever had, period. If I could give zero stars I would. With there poor business practices, I don't expect them to be in business much longer. If some one from MVP is reading this, I suggest you take a long, hard look at the way you conduct yourselves!

Fantastic experience: They truly live up to their name! Matt and team are very meticulous in ensuring your transaction goes smoothly so you don't have to stress about selling your home! We were impressed from start to end!

Fantastic experience: In 2015 we used the team at MVP in our quest to purchase a home. We found a home we lived that had multiple offers. Matt's guidance guidance helped us navigate through the competitors and have our offer accepted by the sellers. Ultimately the sale fell apart for reasons beyond Matt's control or ours. However his knowlegdge and careful attention to detail saved us a potential loss of several thousand dollars. The manner in which the offer was written protected us. At the time I wasn't happy with how the deal came apart at the end, but Matt's guidance was solid. If only we had used MVP as our agent when we had a house built in 2016. I am positive his knowledge and attention to detail know would have protected us from 9 months of hell. We used a long term friend who recently became an agent. I figured an agent is an agent. Never again. I will use MVP in all our our future real estate transactions. Their integrity, knowledge and family values are second to none.

Fantastic experience: We purchased or first home through matthew and we were beyond pleased with the process. We met with a few agents before finding him and knew he was the one to go through from our first meet. He really listened to what we were looking for and sent us new listings daily. After we found our home he gave us information on what to do to upkeep our home, a stamp with our name and address, calendar, and a few personal touches that was beyond what i have seen happen to others. Anyways we would highly recommend mvp realty group they are great to work with!

Negative experience: Not a pet friendly or honest realty company. My husband and I have a small elderly Pembroke welsh corgi and 2 cats that make up our family. We are moving 2k miles cross country with them to rent in Lacey, WA because I have a new well paying job there and so does my husband. We have excellent credit, references, current job history, etc but we understand that many landlords and rental companies do not like to rent to pet owners. So we always only search for home/apartment rentals that are advertised as "pet friendly" so as to save everyone some time. We recently applied to rent a home that was advertised through MVP Realty Group to accept pets with extra deposits (200 per pet fee + 200 per pet deposit). No number, size, or other requirements etc were specified. We explained specifically on our application that we had no problem paying these extra fees, that our current landlord could verify that our pets are well behaved, and that we could provide any other information needed about our pets. MVP barely gave our application an afterthought and attached to an email a letter stating "you did not meet our move in requirements (pets)" they also stated that they "could not provide any other information on why they rejected our application except what is stated in the letter." In the future, this company needs to learn how to advertise their rentals correctly rather than wasting everyone's time. It is also unfortunate that realty and rental companies and owners like this continue to perpetuate a system that causes responsible people to have to give up their pets to shelters simply because they cannot find homes that will permit them. Ours are coming with us regardless, but I wouldn't work with this company again.
