Fantastic experience: Was a tenant for almost 4 years and highly recommend them. Dani and Jodi were always quick to address any concerns or needs and any maintenance was handled quickly and by quality repair companies. Recently vacated one of their properties and even had a smooth and clean move out process. Only reason I left was to move to a different city but if I stayed in Oly my plan was to continue renting from Windermere as long as I could.

Negative experience: Horrible experience would never recommend anyone ever rent from them. Jodi is absolutely a terrible manager to have representing them. Over the past 2 years any contact I have made with the office she has always been very rude and disrespectful, has even just hung up on me while talking and asking questions. Side note. Jodi If you hate what you do so much find a better line of work.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I moved to WA state almost 5 years ago and were very nervous as first time renters. Dani and Jodi were absolutely amazing and made our first rental experience amazing! We would highly recommend Windermere Real Estate in Olympia to anyone who is looking to rent in the area.

Negative experience: When called due to an issue they have made it feel like an inconvenience (even after renting for 10 years) they are NOT quick to help fix the issue at hand. They close/open- early and later then stated on their door OR online. They leave the office and close early consistently. JODI the office manager is VERY rude. I would never go through this property management again nor recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: We had a pretty complex and difficult situation selling our property, and Tonya Hennen was incredible to work with from start to finish. She really took the time to understand everything and guided us through it with a calm, patient, and steady approach. Once we were ready to list, everything felt smooth and well thought out, and we ended up with a great outcome. She was fantastic at communicating with us, and also just a really fun and pleasant person to interact with. We’re so grateful to have had her in our corner, we always felt like she truly had our best interests at heart. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome and kind realtor in Thurston County!!

Jodi helped me with answering questions, replacing drywall I cracked while moving my couch, and she was kind enough to teach me to prepare for future payments as well. Fantastic experience: I have been a tenant for a year now with Windermere and they are absolutely amazing, when I need anything fix they are always on it, when I go to their office they are very warm and nice making you feel welcomed, they are quick and efficient in letting you know if there are changes happening and they are compassionate about helping people get in a home. The women there are great and good at their job because they care.

Fantastic experience: My contacts were Dani and Jodi, and I had a great experience! There were disclaimers in the signatures of their emails that let me know they were short-staffed with reduced office hours; however, I feel like they were more responsive, and took care of me as a potential renter more than some of the bigger, fully staffed companies in the area. I've been moved in for about a week, and they've been great to work with! I just got out of a bad marriage and really needed a new place on short notice. The way I was treated before I was even a renter let me know I wasn't wasting my time. They have a good balance between city professionalism and small-town friendliness. Highly recommend!

She helped me find, and purchase my current home almost four year's ago. I'm continuing to utilize her expertise to sell now.

Positive experience: Nice people but realtors come in at their convenience and makes it hard when one may want to buy or sell when the person you want is not there to respond to your neefs.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst rental company in the world. The realtor isn't much better considering they are both run by Steve. Bonnie is a property manager who is unprofessional and will do everything to make your experience worse. They are money hungry and do not care about their tenants or their customers. The hell of living in one of their homes is the most stress you will ever deal with. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Our rental is affordable and it was sparkly clean when we moved in. We are really happy with everything. We just signed another lease.

Positive experience: They have really stepped up their game in serving their clients. I love the new online payment system, as well as the ability to report maintenance issues. Many requests have been answered quickly, and issues resolved in a timely manner.

Positive experience: always get great repair service when needed. Including less than 12 hour response when a tree fell on the house as well as when a pipe burst. Lived in a windermere managed property for more than 6 years now.

Negative experience: Do not buy a house through this business. Completely unethical and unprofessional. Would not take or return our calls once there was an issue. Had to get the Ethics Committee involved, still would not take their calls. Then had to resort to lawyers. Absolutely horrible business practices.

Negative experience: The worst management ever. Never rent from them. You will never get help from the office whenever something needs to be fixed.

Negative experience: I fell in love with the house i was renting from this property management. I signed a year lease on May 16th 2016 thinking the end of my lease would be May 16th, 2017. That wasn't the case. After that i would automatically go month to month should i decide to stay. In April of 2017 they gave no option of notice to vacate, but instead began sending me letters of notice to vacate in the month i thought I'd only have to pay half months rent. When they told me i was responsible for the full months rent because my month to month started in May, i bit the bullet because i was planning to stay a while longer. A few days after i paid the other half, they sent me an email saying the owner of the house wanted me to sign another year lease rather than go month to month, even though month to month was what was agreed upon at the beginning. I obliged and said that another year would be fine, as i had a 5 year old son and a baby on the way. A few more days pass, and they tell me they think the owner wanted to sell. They gave me until the end of May to be out.... Seeing as how i had no options, i made arrangements and moved back home and got a storage unit. About 6 days into June, i check Craigslist and they have the house i was renting listed.... When i emailed about it, they said the owners appraisal didn't go the way they'd hoped and they decided to rent for another year. I asked if that meant i could just come back and i got no response for 2 days. I emailed again asking if i were coming back since i hadn't gotten my deposit back and they told me the owner decided to rent to a FAMILY MEMBER. That information told me their plans were premeditated and rather than telling me upfront they made up a lie about wanting to sell. They had no legitimate reason to evict me, they had rent early every month and i was a great tenant. So they had to lie about it to get me out. She told me my deposit was on its way and out of $1500 i only got back $455. I paid all utilities in the end and they still deducted $83 from my deposit for the water bill. When i called about it they said they were waiting to be refunded by the city before any checks could be sent to me. DO NOT RENT FROM WINDERMERE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. They are unprofessional and unethical, only taking money anywhere they can.

Negative experience: Professional thiefs. They won't only take your deposit but they'll also charge you more money. When something needs to be fixed, don't try to go the management because it'll take them two month to send someone and guess what they'll charge you for everything. Dishonestly is their name

Negative experience: If it was possible to give ZERO stars and still write a review, that's what I would give Windermere. They're very rude and have horrible customer service. When my husband called to ask questions pertaining to our security deposit invoice, asking why we were being charged for things that are clearly stated in our lease as BROKEN or in need of being PAINTED, Monica became very rude and aggressive saying they could have charged more for things that weren't even included in the invoice we got. Clearly they didn't go through the lease to make sure they were charging us for the correct things.

Negative experience: We loved the house and the realtor we had upon moving in beautiful house, however upon moving out we were charged for a blind that wasn't even there when we moved in that was almost $200 they charged us for then when I went in the office to ask about the prorated rent moving out before explaining how they work the lady said flat out well I'm not changing the price no matter how much I loved that house I would never rent from them again I think they forget customer service etiquette is a must and that military families share the experiences with other families.

Negative experience: Disappointed in this realtor. They seem fly-by-night and untrustworthy. I am looking to buy a small house but when I contacted them they ignored me completely. I tried again and they again did not respond. Not a company I want handling my home search. Not at all. Can anyone recommend a legitimate real estate company in Olympia? One who actually wants to sell something.

Fantastic experience: I have rented from Windermere for two years. The rental staff and the maintenance staff have been great. There was an unforeseen incident when a window was broken, and the handymen were out that night, which was a holiday, to fix it. We worked with an agent named Monica, who was attentive and helpful from move-in to move-out.

Negative experience: This company gave me one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a "service" company. To make a long story short, they violated their own contract, left my tenant and I hanging with no service (and no notice), and did not even have a legitimate phone number for me to contact the tenant. If you (like me) are out of state and need a property manager in Olympia, save yourself some time, money, and aggravation. Avoid these people.

Negative experience: They schedule appointments and show up late. They are professional until you sign the lease. I would not recommend them as a property manager or to rent from. Stay away!

Negative experience: Terrible! Do NOT go through this unprofessional property mtg. company. I recently applied and was denied. The woman Jodi who works the front office is awful. I applied for a place and had obtained the owners contact information and had talked with them about a *possible reduction* in rent and she went behind my back ***after we applied*** and told the owners that I had told them they reduced the rent by $100.00 when they had never agreed to such. I already knew after that I had a bad feeling, she then called me 3 days later to tell me we were not accepted due to noise complaints at my previous apartment complex. Ridiculous!! I will no longer look at or consider any properties that has to do Windermere. Thumbs down...

Negative experience: I am currently in battle they smile in your face until the move out then they destroy you I put down a 1100 dollar deposit they are trying to take it all for what? They are making claims that the house needed repair of walls. Funny because they give you a inventory list of what needs to be cleaned so you comply. Then come move out inspection and they pick every little thing apart example says to wipe out the counters I did this lady used her finger nail to scrape out crumbs as they put it and turned a said to our cleaning agent will need to clean this. Other example I replaced the air filter two weeks before the move I have the receipt n hand and had witnesses watching me put it in. I get a letter in the mail charging me for a new air filter to be replaced and cleaned. How can you clean a new air filter when the system has been turned off. The list goes on They rob you as soon as you submit your notice. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!I cant stress it enough! If you dont believe me go ahead and sign up and find our for yourself Dated 4-15-2014
