Fantastic experience: We couldn’t have imagined buying our first home with anyone else. Aria, Oscar, and Isabel took great care of us. We didn’t have a huge budget and we were buying in a tough sellers market, but they gave us so much attention anyway. Aria gave us his honest opinion about price when we put an offer in for the first time — he laid out all the options and mentioned the house would probably go for above asking, but didn’t pressure us to go above our budget. We all knew there was a slim chance that we would get this house, but Aria still was happy to write up the offer for us and submit it so we could get our feet wet, which we really appreciated. Fantastic experience: In midst of COVID-19, we sold our home in Fairfax and bought a new home in Aldie with the help of Khalil and his team. Eight years before, he was also the one who helped me to buy the same home which was sold. His team has grown leaps and bounds since then. His team has a stager, handy man to fix any work needed, listing agent, showing crew and settlement co-ordinator, and more. Khalil being the principal broker was always available to provide suggestion on the market, home improvement needed, pricing strategies and offer negotiations on the selling side. Fantastic experience: It’s pretty rare that I write a review but I thought this was an important one. For me, buying a home is a big investment (my biggest single investment) and I thought carefully about what team to hire and interviewed several firms. In the end, I selected Glass House. They were very responsive, gave good advice about pricing and you can’t beat the rebate. I have told several friends who have also used Glass House and had equally as good experiences.

Fantastic experience: Great service (and rebate)! Oscar is great for showings, no pressure and he makes sure you notice any potential issues that you might have missed. Khalil is busy (saving money for a bunch of people at once) but always gets back on important items.

Negative experience: After finding my own house and asking for a viewing, they were very responsive. I must have been the easiest client, because I looked at one house for 10 minutes and put in an offer. The next afternoon I received an email string from Khalil. That morning the buyer's realtor asked if we'd take counters, then two hours later telling us there was another bid in and to submit our best and final at our soonest. I responded with my best and final. I tried reaching Khalil via text, phone call and email with no response all day. Finally, that evening I called Victoria very upset due to lack of response and the urgency to respond with the best and final. I signed a contract that evening. The next day I received an email from Khalil stating they went with the other offer. I contacted the seller's realtor, and he stated he didn't hear from us so they took the other offer. So, basically I lost the house due to lack of response. There wasn't even a phone call or explanation or apology. The rebate is nice, but is it worth the lack of customer service needed to win a bid in this market? Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. In addition, the comps they sent me on the house were extremely high and included other houses that were 1000 sq ft bigger. Luckily, my friend is a realtor and she sent me the "real" comps. This business is obviously focused on making money and not getting you the best price. I received no call or information on the seller's position.

Positive experience: After a little more effort, I was able to reach Khalil's team and they responded appropriately. Moving offices is definitely chaotic.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I closed on our forclosure purchase in May. After dealing with a horrific example of a real estate agent with another firm. Marc, Khalil & Victoria where a refreshing upbeat change. We looked at several homes with their help and when we were slowing down in our search (due to lack of inventory). We had seen a home we wanted to view, however that day or went under contract. Due to Marc's diligence , he found another home in the same community, for less that was a foreclosure. We looked and signed a contract immediately. We now call that place, our home. The bonus, we received some cash back at closing. Glass House is Amazing!! Thank you for everything. I will never hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
