Fantastic experience: Last year, my wife and I were in the process of buying a property as first-time home buyers, with very limited experience. We came across a house that had been on the market for quite some time, priced below market value. On the surface, it looked like a great opportunity the house was cosmetically beautiful, located in a very desirable area and the house was recently built. We were almost ready to move forward and make it our home. Before making a final decision, I reached out to Jawaid and shared the property details to get his expert opinion and as a friend. Despite his busy schedule, he immediately called me after reviewing the pictures and advised me to be very cautious about the property. He pointed out serious concerns, specifically vertical and horizontal foundation cracks, along with structural beams that appeared to have been installed to prevent potential collapse. We really loved the property, so to be sure, we also consulted a few experts in the field. They confirmed that repairing the foundation would be very costly, and if anything went wrong, it could make the property extremely difficult to resell in the future. That insight completely changed our perspective. We followed up with the property owner to ask about any warranties or disclosures related to those issues, but unfortunately, they were not willing to provide any information. In the end, we decided not to proceed, and the property remains unsold. I’m genuinely grateful for Jawaid’s honesty, expertise to help us avoid what could have been a very costly mistake.
