Fantastic experience: It was great working with Joey multiple times in the past few years. We initially worked with Joey to buy our first home several years ago. Fast forward some years and we used him again when we wanted to upgrade to a bigger house. He helped us sell our home and buy a new construction home. My first impression of Basma—affable, likeable personality—a professional anyone would easily feel comfortable working with. During our house hunting, I sensed her keen understanding of the local market to meet my needs & wants. I was impressed with her resourcefulness, like getting last minute “walk-n-talk” home inspections—had no idea that was a thing—but, proved critical to decision-making. I learned to trust Basma’s instincts. She helped me to stay level-headed, not losing my cool in what I perceived was unreasonable seller intransigence; instead, she painted a picture of the seller’s point of view and then provided me with the most optimal, legal and ethical right way to extricate myself from that souring deal. With an accepted offer of another home followed by a full home inspection, we discovered a number of issues, among which was the need for a new HVAC. Basma negotiated fair compensation for this. Also, I appreciated Basma’s patience and help to de-mystify the rarely-used and unique securities-backed mortgage that she captured among the other smartly-drafted contingency addendums. Also, I work in a facility where cell phone usage is prohibited. Despite that, Basma was quite accommodating and responsive, maintaining outstanding comms with multiple messages (emails, texts, voice), all hours of the day & night, keeping me up-to-date and ahead of any issues—and boy, were there! Basma followed through with genuine care and support. She stayed on top of the checklist of issues as the closing date was fast approaching. Thanks, Basma, for surpassing my expectations! I met Joey after a bad experience with a known internet realty company, my condo sat on the market for 30 days, until I decided to pull the plug.
