Negative experience: Awful management. Slow to answer (takes about two weeks to get any replies) and took almost four months to fix the siding at our duplex. Recently acquired our neighborhood and increased the HOA dues AND has decided to possibly not do lawn treatments. What’s the point of living in a duplex with outside care done if they don’t even do the outside care. Okay at snow removal, but awful at everything else. The lawn is depressing and the houses are falling apart. They are also not accommodating for elderly residents that need extra help when it comes to using their website and reaching the point of contact. Despicable corporation that should be ashamed of their service.

Negative experience: Does not consider the safety of the residents that they serve. Only interested in servicing the HOAs that they are hired by and do not stand up for the residents of the neighborhood when the HOA is in the wrong.

Negative experience: This is by far THE WORST management company in Kansas City. THE WORST! DO NOT use them. Despite being negligent and unprofessional they are extremely unethical. They mismanage their properties and you will lose lots of money. They allow harassment of their staff. They hire rude unprofessional uneducated inexperienced managers to run their buildings. They do not follow by laws for an HOA. Our building is unsafe bc of this negligence. Signature favors penthouse people and some owners all for their advantage. Havent had sufficient hot water in months. The management threw out over 2k worth of my healing products from the spa, labeled it a common area, and acted like there wasn’t a key involved. Locked spaces are not so common. If you’re a renter good luck. No one contacts you back even if you’re an owner. If they can’t make money off of you you’re useless to them. It’s shocking that a female owned company will allow young women to work late night front desk shifts downtown KC with no real security. We had a homeless guy come in with a gun who shot himself. It’s shocking that a female owned company will allow white middle aged men to run the show, not question their unethical actions, and continue to breed sexism. Welcome to Signature management!

Negative experience: Extremely Unresponsive and Unprofessional Signature Property initially sent someone to assess a couple of trees on the property, but there was absolutely no follow-up. Despite repeated emails over nearly a year, I received no response, not even an acknowledgment. Frustrated, I escalated the issue to the HOA board. Even after the HOA board directed the company's Vice President to respond, there was no communication. The board itself was unaware of my initial request, indicating a complete lack of information sharing between the property management company and the HOA board. As a homeowner, I've had to take the initiative to resolve the issue. This unacceptable level of unprofessionalism has wasted valuable time and caused unnecessary stress. If I had been informed a year ago that the tree was my responsibility, I would have taken steps to replace it. However, the property management company's complete lack of communication hindered this process. Let me be clear, the HOA board is not the issue here. The property management company is the issue. Zero Stars!

Fantastic experience: I met with Jillian to do insurance inspections on a couple of properties she manages. She was very knowledgeable and has done a great job learning about the properties. She was able to answer most of the questions I had, and knew where to get the answers for the ones she didn’t know right off hand. She responded quickly and courteously to all calls and texts. Fantastic experience: Living at the Sulgrave Regency has exceeded all my expectations since I first moved here many years ago. There is no issue too large or too small for management to address happily and quickly. The building and grounds are safe, beautifully manicured and well-cared for. The staff is cheerful and always eager to help. I can't think of an instance where the answer to a question or problem was "no." This is a well-located and dog friendly community, which are very important to me. There are always options for community social activities if you choose to participate. I feel very fortunate that I live here and thank all the staff for making this environment one that is so comfortably liveable.

Fantastic experience: I live in the Sulgrave/Regency condos in Kansas City. It’s a wonderful place to live, due in large part to the general manager (and his staff). Brian Brusha has been our (relatively) new GM and he’s changed the culture in a very positive way. His attention to detail has been most appreciated. Fantastic experience: Living in an iconic building overlooking green space and the booming development of the skyline of Kansas City is wonderful. One Park Place is a (vertical) neighborhood with an interesting history and a dynamic, current vibe. There is an opportunity to be as socially active or involved as you choose or, to enjoy the quiet beauty and amenities with a sense of security and privacy. The staff and Signature management is present, active, and able to problem solve and assist, 24/7. From the amazing building engineer, who responds to all common areas and major systems necessary to support the functioning of the infrastructure, to the cheery and efficient concierge team—they are responsive and service oriented and well led.

Fantastic experience: I have lived at Sulgrave Regency since 2019 and very much enjoy the community, the amenities and the South Plaza location. I love having neighbors who may be children, youth, active senior citizens or folks from other ethnicities. I can play cards, use the gym, swim in the pool or have a party without leaving the property. The staff members are helpful and hospitable, whether they are at the concierge desk or part of the maintenance crew. There are at least 10 restaurants nearby and the neighborhood is walkable and safe. Loose Park is just around the corner.

Negative experience: We have been waiting since September 23rd for reply from Sean, to get someone out to fix our gutters and to address the leak from outside that is coming into our garage, this isnt the first time we have been waiting for a reply from Sean.. this is completely unacceptable!! Negative experience: I don't know how bad the entire company is, but I have had poor experience with Sean Schickedanz. Try to avoid him at all costs if possible. He completely mismanaged damage to my property resulting from an act of nature, and stuck me with a high repair cost. My questions were left unanswered. He doesn't answer his phone or email, not sure why the board continues wasting our dues on paying for his poor service. I am not sure who posts high rating reviews. I speculate they are not real. I am writing this review to hopefully help others make the right choice.

Positive experience: Reading comments i see a lot of u are uneducated what a property management does. they are like the secretaries to your HOA. I suggested to my HOA getting a property management company like when i rented because i saw a misuse of money and misuse of power. i didnt like my neighbor knowing where i bank or having my checking account numbers. which when builder’s self off property after they complete the build the original homeowners come together and decide if they are going to have an HOA and they did because they claimed they couldnt get people to pick up they trash, do maintenance outside and other reasons etc. so it goes into enforcement. everything in my bylaws when i first moved in the HOA aka my neighbors had violations things i could of won in court got neglect and breach. So after a few years they find signature property management. Because i’ve rented and worked everywhere signature is known everywhere ive seen them all over not just ur HOAs they do commercial and rental property they are a big company. My HOA is full of bigoted white people which i watched the union President ask a black person to sit on the board president did this in front of me this person does not know she was selected to be a pawn so i wouldnt get them for discrimination for the racially bias things. They were angry i got my property cheaper than theres and feel i should pay more. i am giving Signature a 3 because after 2 recent meetings the first one my property management said something then 2nd meeting denied basically said that doesnt know what im talking about as if i dont have it on recording. what a lot of ur dealing with is signatures hands are tied Signatures boss in HOA situations is its board members ur neighbors and/or owners/investor. Signature manages and as for lawns the HOAs dont want to pay the price or in my case the workers for signature were hispanic and this predominantly white area didnt want to pay them so they got someone white. I guarantee just like the abuse of money when i noticed before when first moved in the lawn people are related to someone that lives on property and again that person is not paying dues because they keep raising them. Some of the half million dollar homes with the same amenities pay $1800 less. again its not signature they are just managers they deal with the headaches so owners and HOAs dont have to and the one thing i will say is they turned the negative money amount of my HOA to actually showing profit. I am 100% sure the propety manager was instruced to lie.

Negative experience: The absolute worst property management company out there. Stay away from them. They do not respond to emails nor do they care about property owners' concerns. I have been trying to get ab answer from Sean for 11 freaking months and he can't seem to get back to me. I am not sure how this company is still running but I will be reporting them to BBB.

Negative experience: I live in a building that is managed by Signature and I am deeply disappointed by their level of service. Inconsistent & incompetent staffing, slow response to resident concerns, inattention to basic maintenance are on-going issues. My condo is in the premier building in Kansas City with premium HOAs and we have bottom of the barrel property management. I will be advocating for a change.

Negative experience: The epitome of terrible. Does this business even exist? Nobody answers the phone. Nobody returns phone calls. What do HOA’s even use them for besides collecting a monthly fee? Not one time have I ever gotten a live person on the phone to report issues in our HOA! Other HOA’s or homeowners who are shopping for a Property Management company in the KC metro area - I would caution you not to use this company! They show up to some meetings and that’s pretty much the extent of their service.

Negative experience: This company does not take care of anything in a timely manner. Our building lights have been off for at least 2 weeks. We walk into a dark building every day. We have many elderly here and we’ve got a lawsuit waiting to happen. Additionally- the doors to our trash have been busted for months. I got stuck in there once and also had my hand pinched so hard. DO BETTER!!

Negative experience: They've either paid these people for their good reviews, or they're all employees. The REAL story: They manage my condo subdivision and they're a NIGHTMARE. We pay over $100/mo in HOA fees for "Lawn Service, Snow Removal, and Trash Services" as well as maintenance on anything "Studs out". Sounds great, right? WRONG. The grass is in HORRIBLE shape, the trees lining our property are all dead, they don't remove snow in the winter, they're impossible to get a hold of, AND I myself, as well as several others, have been paying for our own trash service for well over a year. This company is TERRIBLE. They will take your money for HOA fees and never respond when help is needed, never provide insight into what the funds are spent on, and continue to raise HOA fees with no sign of improvement to the neighborhood. STAY CLEAR OF THIS AWFUL COMPANY.

Negative experience: Awful communication, lack of caring, bad customer service. Makes me wonder if they’re misspending funds. Would not recommend. Thankful the Carabella Condominiums is going a different direction with a new management company. My sisters condo complex is under their management and she’s not happy with them either. As stated in another review- all the positives are from the employees, or developers that hire them. Nothing good from the actual residents that have to deal with them. That should speak volumes.

Negative experience: Interesting to read the reviews here. Seems the people who hire Signature to manage their properties rate them highly and the tenants at the properties have a pretty bad experience. I moved into a property managed by Signature this past Saturday. When I got here the A/C was out. I tried all weekend to contact the property manager and others I had contact information for with no response. Monday I had to travel out of town but finally got an email back saying the A/C was fixed. Just got back into town and it's 90 degrees in the apartment and once again can not get anyone from Signature to respond. Just called the company that I was told repaired the A/C on Monday and they let me know the work was never completed because they could not get the property manager to respond, after multiple attempts, with an approval for the work that needed to be done. If you are leasing a property and and have to deal with Signature Property Management think twice before you sign the lease!

Fantastic experience: GREAT COMPANY!! Signature is a excellent company to work with. We have had nothing but positive experiences with them over the last 4 years. They have an outstanding support team filled with knowledgeable and friendly people ready to help. I wouldn't hesitate to let them manage any property I owned!!

Fantastic experience: Signature took over the Apartments in 2008 that I have lived in for the past 13 years. It would take me days to tell you the improvement's this management company has made. I would highly suggest if your looking to rent ask the management company and if its Signature you will be well taken care of.

Negative experience: I wish I could give no stars or negative stars. Them getting one star is being too kind. This company is ridiculous. Do your research prior to selecting them as an HOA company. They are happy to collect your money, but the second something goes wrong and you need their assistance, they are impossible to get in contact with. Emailing, calling, posting comments on their website are all a waste of time because they will not contact you back.

Negative experience: 7/16. A week ago notified this company that there is a water leak above my condo unit and NOTHING has been done since. I have contacted them multiple times too. No response. They said they contacted the owner and I talked him yesterday and he received no notice. This property management group is the WORSE!! Anyone that has given this company 5 stars needs their head examined. I have multiple properties dealing with multiple property groups and this is the WORSE property management group that I have dealt with. The client service is atrocious and they are very uncooperative with the tenants they deal with. If your board selects this group please be suspicious of your boards motives and reasoning for this selection.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say that ever since Signature Property Management has taken over the Shadow Creek property. The experience has been stellar. Whenever a repair is needed, the maintenance team is very responsive, prompt fast and very personable. The landscaping team and grounds keeper are consistent and everything on the property is clean. In addition to this the office management team are very professional as well as sweet and very easy to talk to and they are very knowledgeable. I am very happy to say that i would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Negative experience: Can you give negative stars? I am APPALLED at the disgraceful customer service this company provides. Do not expect a call back. Do not expect any kind of communication. You can call, email, Facebook, and even private message and you still won't get a response-it's quite clearly the most discouraging and infuriating experience I have had with a business to date. The woman who finally answered the phone (after my 11th attempt) was beyond disrespectful- and told me that she could help me or she could not help me, it was up to me. Too bad Tom French Builders didn't outsource their HOA Management to a company that actually cares about their properties.
