Negative experience: DO NOT USE. SHE IS RUDE. I would like to share my experience AMY Lucas. She was rude to me on two occasions and I only worked with her for a short time. The first occasion I told her what I would like to list my house for which was very reasonable within $10,000 of what other homes were sellingfor and she said I will not list it for that price. It cost me $1000 to market and I'm not in the business to lose money. I thought that was rude but I let it go. Then the second time was on Sunday, July 19 in the a.m. I called her to let her know I'd like to look at the 55 communities up in VIERA and the first thing she said was are you preapproved and I said not yet but I'd like to see the communities to see if I even wanna go through this to see if 55 is for me she replied with well I'm not gonna show you the properties UNLESS you have a preapproval letter in hand and I said well that's not right. I want to see the homes and I said I'll go with another Realtor and she said "go ahead"and then she said something rude and talking loudly over me and then she HUNG UP the phone on me in my face. this is not professional. Shame on you, AMY

Fantastic experience: It’s hard picking a real estate agent because there are so many in Brevard County. I picked Amy because of her amazing google reviews. I am here to write another amazing review for Amy because she helped me sell my house during a very stressful time in my life that involved changing jobs and living location. My house was under contract within 3 weeks of listing because of Amy’s help. This timeline exceeded my expectations because there are things in my neighborhood that deterred buyers (i.e. lots of cars parked on the street) and there is a lot of competition in the market right now. Below are some important highlights about Amy. 1) Amy is very organized. During your first meeting with Amy, she will provide a bound notebook detailing the research she has done on your property. She will show other listings similar to your property and their listing/selling prices. Based on her homework and research, she will advise you on the starting listing price. She will also provide a folder that contains an estimated cost breakdown and obtainable profit once your property is sold. The bound notebook and folder show Amy’s professionalism and meticulous personality in making sure you are as informed as possible before trusting her with your property. 2) Amy makes suggestions on things you should do to the property prior to listing. I highly recommend listening to Amy’s advice because this will help her sell your property. Her advice is very reasonable and doable. On my part, I had to get the floor tiles professionally cleaned, broken light bulbs replaced, fence pressure washed, and the exterior house repainted because the paint was over 20 years old. Following this advice helped the house look more welcoming, premium, and ready to sell. 3) Amy is different than other real estate agents because she provides video marketing of your property. She did a creative, fun, and playful skit at the beginning of my video to help capture the viewer’s attention. The introduction was then followed by recorded clips of the entire property. Amy will post this video on social media platforms because this will help reach a wider audience of people. You can thank her husband John for helping record the video! 4) Amy’s camera guy takes the best pictures. Amy uses Jordan from the company “Pink Flamingo”. I was completely surprised at how good the angles and overall picture quality came out once the house was listed. Jordan is also a tall dude, so maybe that helped with the camera shots too. The pictures brought out the best features of my property and played a key component in persuading buyers to view the property. 5) Amy has a plumber and an electrician to help fix issues that might arise during the inspection process. She helped tremendously in scheduling these appointments and made sure the house complied with the inspector’s suggestions. Amy always makes herself available during the entire process of selling your house. She takes the time to talk to you on the phone and will text you back to address any questions or concerns. Selling your house and moving is stressful. It was hard for me to sell the house I’ve lived and cared for the past 8 years, but Amy guided me through this entire journey. Overall, Amy is a down-to-earth person, and you can’t go wrong with trusting her with your property.

Fantastic experience: When my wife and I wanted to my move from Minnesota to Melbourne area, God blessed us with our new favorite real estate agent -- Amy Lucas. Amy spent a lot of time (years, in fact) with us to understand our wants, our needs, and our budget. These things changed over time as my wife and I were not always consistent about our tastes. Despite all that, both of us are thrilled today to be living very comfortably and happily in a type of home and in an area that we would never have considered without Amy’s intuition, courage, resourcefulness, energy, and boundless patience. Patience, Intuition, and Courage: The fundamental need was to find a home closer to our grandboys in the City of Melbourne where we own a vacant lot. After working with us to acquire surveys, adjacent land, and improved deeds, our construction hopes were dashed by the City. Rather than despairing with us, Amy discovered a newer home for us in a quieter area (Malabar). We were skeptical about the Malabar area, but Amy showed us around to experience the peacefulness that we craved and to speak with locals – who altogether convinced us to submit a timely offer at the right price. After my banks stumbled around and when I showed reluctance to use my VA loan opportunity, Amy put us onto a very capable lender (Erik Reed, The Mortgage Firm) who facilitated the VA loan with favorable terms. The documentation was a breeze. When we had questions about the property, Amy tracked down the owner and made a series of videos with him to answer every question to our satisfaction. When we squirmed about the cost of the land survey, Amy hunted down the previous surveyor which cut the cost in half! When the appraisal came in at a ridiculously low value, Amy helped us negotiate a reasonable price reduction that satisfied all parties. We executed a remote closing with no issues. Still today, weeks after closing, Amy is helping us settle in and is working with us to make the vacant lot more marketable for sale. It was a very successful and pleasurable journey with Amy leading the way.
