Negative experience: Jeremy lie and over inflated the price to repair the damages. I got a much cheaper quote for the same project elsewhere and show them. That's when they turn ugly and extreme. AVOID them!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Ashman Associates. My family and I rented a lovely property in Woodstock managed by Ashman. Matt and Jeremy were wonderful from start to finish. They were responsive, professional, friendly, and immediately available for every question or concern we had before, during, and after the lease. Every time we needed assistance someone was there within an hour. We can’t thank you enough for a great experience!

Fantastic experience: We recently rented a home managed by Ashman Associates. Their pre-key process is extremely complete and thorough. Jeremey has been outstanding from the very beginning. We have had a few issues that needed to be addressed, repairs etc, and he has been so responsive and proactive. I’ve been so appreciative of the almost immediate response to our needs. The service people they have sent have been professional, friendly and have had great communication, it’s clear they have a great network. Moving to a new state and renting is stressful, but Ashman has made our experience so positive. I highly recommend.

They have never once asked me to write a review m so this is completely unsolicited. I only wish that I knew of them 13 years ago when I was too young and native to know how easy it would be to keep a rental property. I plan to use them in my golden years so hope this review contributes to their long-term success!

Negative experience: They are awful! My move in process has been tumultuous, unorganized, and rushed! The contact that moved me in, hadn’t even seen the unit before, I was to get my keys, and had the audacity to ask me to move items that were left in the unit! Upon moving in I had: -No hot water -No AC - Fridge still had old gunk in the crisper - bathroom door didn’t shut completely - They didn’t even know that the unit uses gas - had no knowledge of how to access the rooftop - no knowledge of how to access call box They even admitted that my move in process was not as smooth as it was supposed to be! They then sent me a bill for a missed repair appointment, for an appointment I never scheduled! When I refused to pay, they wanted to argue with me about how I should take responsibility for things THEY should’ve had already handled, before I moved in. I LOVE MY APARTMENT, but would never recommend them to represent any owner!

Fantastic experience: Jeremy and Matt have been so helpful! From requesting a tour through the move in process and beyond, Ashman Associates has been professional, responsive, proactive, and honest. Small items needed attention after the move-in inspection, and immediately, they got repair folks out to address the issues. They helped me work with the property owner to get an electric charger installed for my electric car. It’s been a great experience, and I highly recommend working with Ashman Associates.

Negative experience: My experience was not good. First filled out application for a home that would’ve been perfect for me and my children. Nobody got back to me for two weeks when I finally got back to them to get them information so I’m the information was outdated and now I have to double down my efforts to try to find a home for me and my kids or I’m gonna be homeless, so thank you for Nothing

Negative experience: I am truly shocked that this company has a 4.9 review after talking to them on the phone and via text message it is very clear that they are not professional at all. Now I am curious if this business is only catering to a certain clientele, that would explain why I was treated in such a manner that makes me believe this company must have just started and does not want any regular clients.

Negative experience: Stay away from doing business with this liar Matt Ashman. Ron Ashman, his father is more dignified. Matt will squeeze the last dime in your pocket in a ruthless way using all his amazing abilities of lying & denying the commitments. If you want to do business with this guy get an attorney & agent first. I highly DO NOT recommend!!! If you need more feedback about this guy talk to the neighbors of the rental property or a few employees in his organization who will give you the same feedback ..

We have been very pleased with the service provided by your firm. Our current rental property, when we first viewed it, was in need of substantial work, as it had not been kept up properly by the former tenants. Our agent informed us of the repair work planned for the property, and he took careful note of the concerns we raised. Since we desired the house, primarily for its location, we filled out the tenancy application even though we had reservations. We were very pleased to find that the promised work was completed before we were scheduled to occupy the house. Furthermore, as other problems appeared after we’d settled in, you promptly had them corrected – even though we’d stated that they weren’t urgent matters. It is often a very thankless job because so much of what they do goes on “behind the scenes,” but I wanted to take the time and highlight some of their feats of strength.
