Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with our realtor, Meredith Jones. She was informative, great at communicating, and had a great knowledge of the market. As this was our first time buying a house, we really relied on her thorough explanation of the whole process. She truly was by our sides and our advocate for the last few months. Without her help, we know we wouldn't be in such an amazing home! We would recommend her to any friends and family!

Howard was easy to work with, kept me calm as I was having problems accessing the necessary paperwork. Negative experience: Rocky River Howard Hanna's Charlie Zkiab is a bad realtor and a greedy person. I wish I had been more picky about the realtor I chose to sell my house and didn't give this guy the opportunity to grow his career with me. When he came to see the property before listing it, he ran through it and said nothing. I asked multiple times for advice on getting it ready, and all he gave me was suggesting renting a storage unit. Once the house was listed, we had a full weekend open house and many showings with no offers. I had to practically beg Charlie for feedback. He just kept suggesting that I drop the house price. Despite it feeling like the wrong choice, I trusted him and followed his guidance. He eventually admitted that there was also a pet smell that deterred buyers. I was able to take care of that, but I couldn't fix a problem I didn't know about. How many potential buyers did I lose over Charlie not communicating this? After another open house, and more showings, still with no offers, one of his colleagues came to look at the place and give advice. She took one look at our basement and found the problem. What looked like just a messy basement floor to me could be interpreted as water backflow issues (a huge issue in the area where this house is). My basement had full waterproofing and never had issues. Her eyes were wide as she exclaimed "Has Charlie seen this?! This is why you aren't getting any offers!". This issue literally took me just a couple hours to fix. At this point I had already dropped my house price twice and lost so many potential buyers over Charlie's oversight and lack of communication. When we finally had a buyer, I asked Charlie explicitly how much the proceeds would be. He gave me a range that I was able to make work for my next home. Fast forward to closing day, and the title agent says I am not only making nothing from the sale, I actually owe money. I called Charlie to figure it out, and he couldn't tell me where the proceed numbers he initially told me came from. He didn't care. Eventually he agreed to split his commission with me to make the sales go through. This didn't even reach the low end of what he told me I'd get from the proceeds. The last kick was realizing he wasn't actually splitting the commission with me. He expects me to pay it back. I sold a nice home in a great neighborhood and didn't make a single cent. I basically had to pay to have someone take it off my hands. This guy cost me tens of thousands of dollars on the sale of my house. He knows my financial situation is not great, I have a new baby, and my primary reason for moving was finances. When I pointed this out and thought him and I should both split the losses of this house sale, he told me he deserved his full commission. Sure, Charlie and I both put money, time and effort into the sale of my house. It was chaotic, stressful and did not go as planned. But his commission pays him for his job. And he did a horrible job. Him walking away with a hefty commission while I'm left in even more financial distress from this is wrong. He's greedy, incompassionate and only cares about himself. He gives Howard Hanna a bad name. I wouldn't want him representing my company. If you've read this whole review, kudos to you. Go find literally any other realtor. I hope you have better luck than me.

Negative experience: The most disrespectful service. Rude to tenants living in current locations. Broke a door trying to enter a occupied unit with out permission. Leaves property open so strangers can enter at any time. Happened multiple times. One realtor attempted to push door open on tenant living in an occupied rental. Never using this business
