Negative experience: Update at bottom of review*** I’ll start by saying the landlord, Russell, is a nice guy. I don’t believe he means any harm, but communication has definitely been an issue. His response times aren’t great. The expected move in costs included a deposit of $1295 plus first month’s rent, while I understand this is standard it wasn’t disclosed before signing the lease. This wasn’t evident on the lease which caused some confusion as I did not budget to pay the additional fee. After signing the lease he disclosed that he’s selling the property. We haven’t even been here a mere 4 days and have to face multiple showings of our apartment for an indefinite amount of time. That’s his right as a landlord, but we wouldn’t have signed the lease if we knew he planned on selling during our lease. For the following months we’ll just have to expect multiple people walking into our homes at different hours of the day, as we’re trying to settle in. He does give us 24-48 hour notices before the viewing which is helpful. Moreover, There was a chicken bone and a pool of stagnant water in the dishwasher from a clog upon our arrival and water damage under the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Lastly, we requested to have the apartment cleaned before our arrival, and Russel followed through to no extra charge to us. This was greatly appreciated! Overall the process has not been the most ideal and has been stressful at times. However, Russell has been flexible with letting us pay the move in fee at a later date with no late fees and answered our questions when he does get back to us. Updated: 10/16/2026 I am no longer living in the apartment. I mentioned above that the landlord, Russell, neglected to tell us that he planned on selling the apartment before we signed the lease. When we asked him about it, he reassured us that the new owners would honor the lease agreement and our lease term. That turned out to be untrue. Only 2 weeks after we moved in we received notice that the property had been sold and the new owners wanted us out in 30 days. We moved from Florida to Georgia, so you can imagine the financial strain this put us under. Yes, we were promised our deposit back plus one month’s rent for the inconvenience, however we wouldn’t receive this until after we were moved out. We also just bought a washer and dryer unit for $1800 because the apartment didn’t come with it. Russell went silent after sending the email. He stopped returning our texts and emails and for a while there we thought we had been scammed. We did get our money in the end but the entire process was incredibly frustrating. I would not rent with this company as they have very little integrity towards their tenants.

Fantastic experience: Dealing with Russell has been great. The set up they have to help get all utilities set up was so easy. I was surprised! They did all the work. I would use them again if needed. Top notch customer service!

Negative experience: We have some experience from the renter side of working with real property management Northpoint. It has been disappointing to say the least. If you ever have any maintenance request, there is zero urgency to get anything done. As soon as they need something from you, they’ll respond very quickly. We have been moved out of the place for over three weeks now and have not heard one single word on our security deposit. Comes across as extremely unprofessional, and that they have no intention of returning that money. I’ve reached out multiple times and can’t even get a response from them, a bit ridiculous.

Negative experience: Proceed with caution. The communication and complete lack of urgency from Real Property Management North Point is incredibly disappointing. This is a consistent pattern that started on day one; they were completely absent on my move-in day, leaving me stranded with no idea how to access the building or where to even get a key. I eventually contacted the front desk and found an envelope had simply been left there, and then I walked into a completely dirty unit with the previous tenants trash left behind. As a tenant, I am forced to pay a mandatory $50 monthly resident fee to this company on top of regular rent, yet the service provided is less than 1-star quality and well below the bare minimum. Even when provided with detailed updates, videos, and follow-ups regarding ongoing structural issues that heavily disrupt sleep and daily life, they routinely ignore emails for days at a time without providing any clear timeline or resolution. Professional property management requires basic communication and accountability, and RPM North Point completely fails to deliver either.

Negative experience: I sent them a Notice of Termination of Property Management Agreement on 10/28, they have not responded or provided any info or plan to return the security deposit and keys. Also we have not received rent payment for Nov and Dec. The rent payment is always delayed for at least 1 or 2 months.

Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with the service that I received from Real Property Management. Russell was very professional and helpful. He was available to answer any questions regarding the renting process. I would definitely consider working with Real Property Management in the future.

We had a situation where the AC unit from the condo they manage was leaking into our unit, destroying our ceiling. Negative experience: I never leave reviews but there’s a first time for everything,, I’ve lived in My Home for going on 13 years about two years ago. My landlord decided to get a property management company being she’s getting older and just wants to travel which is understandable. I’ve heard so many horror stories of people dealing with property management companies/property managers. The property manager himself he’s a nice guy, polite and respectful. But when it comes to anything else, we may as well not have a property management company I can call, send an email send a maintenance request and I’m lucky if I get a response back at all. If I do, it may be about three weeks. Put in a request for exterminator being that there was a huge venomous. Spider making a web damn near covering my front door. That was almost a month ago. I just received a call last week. But the call wasn’t even about my exterminator request it was wanting to know when I was going to make my rental payment. I figured not paying would make somebody called me. Sending a request as well to come and check on my floors being they have just been installed not even a good year and a half ago LVP planks there, bulging cracking when you step on them. No one’s been here yet. The longer you leave them as is and not correct the problem the worst they get, But I guarantee once they come they’re gonna be looking like I did something wrong. How do you came originally when I first reached out wouldn’t be an issue. The painters remove the threshold from my back door, which is allowing outside ants and roly-poly bugs and everything to come in to my home. I have told him this over and over property manager came to do an inspection and I showed him and told him and he took a picture that was over six months ago, and no one’s been back ever sense. I’m very understanding so I understand people get busy and life happens but I have a one year old child so I am constantly spraying all baseboards, cracks corners all around the outside, as well as the doorways. Speaking of doorways, the weatherstripping is completely gone even with the door close you can see straight outside. I spoke on that over a year ago. I just like to keep my house in order and clean and I would expect for them to want me to do the same so you would expect for speedy response. Like I said property managers, a nice guy. But this may be my last year here. And for some people may not sound like much, but that’s just to name a few things. In the end, I rather deal with an actual landlord/owner of property. It’s more personal and direct.
