Negative experience: I have not rented from this company, however, we toured one property in Pensacola & we loved the property. The issue is there were fleas in this rental house. We called the leasing office while we were still at the rental location to let them know that we loved the property but there were fleas! We were very kind in how we told them, and even told them we’d love to rent this home but just wanted them to know there were fleas. The woman I spoke to on the phone immediately became very defensive claiming that there were “100% no fleas” and that they had “bombed” the house 3 prior times and she has apparently spent “multiple hours” at the house the day prior. She was extremely rude, I mentioned that I was just letting them know so they could work on the issue. She was very rude and proceeded to comment on how me and my fiancé are not married and would have to file an application as “roommates” and then begrudgingly stated “well I guess we can bomb the house again”. Overall, because of this experience we decided to not rent through this company & I just wanted to put this information out there for potential future renters. The customer service was just subpar at best.

Fantastic experience: I have truly appreciated our experience renting through them. Our family has lived in one of their rental homes for several years, and throughout this time, they've consistently treated us with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Whenever we've had a maintenance issue or a question, they've responded quickly and have always communicated with us in a way that makes us feel valued as tenants, rather than just another lease. We are incredibly grateful for the positive experience we've had and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a property management company that is honest, responsive, and truly cares about the people they serve. Thank you for everything you've done for our family over the years.

Negative experience: This is the worst company to rent from. They money gouge and they are rude. Especially the woman in the office!! Never will I ever recommend renting from this company!!

Fantastic experience: I rented from Barron's for 5 years and have nothing but great things to say about them. They handled any issues in a very timely manner, whether it be a tree on the house from a hurricane to a water heater going out or the whole AC unit needing to be replaced in the unit. They also worked with me during the COVID aftermath when financially EVERYBODY was struggling. 5 stars is an easy review. Don't hesitate to use them for your housing needs.

Fantastic experience: I've rented a property from Barrons property management for a little over two years and I can honestly that they are the absolute best property managers I've ever dealt with. I was so impressed with how quickly ( almost instantly)that they have addressed and fixed ANY issue I've had. I consider them a complete blessing in my life. I just wish I could give them MORE than 5 stars.❤️

Fantastic experience: I can say for an actual fact this company has been the best property management business I've ever had to deal with. Having had properties in the past I've had issues with a number of things when it comes to the communication between the renter and homeowner. As a renter in this case, they answered every single call and request to a point where I'm confident that they'll handle all of my properties going forward.

Negative experience: This company can’t care less about their customers. I wish I could give them 0 stars but I cant. For the management, please don’t even try to explain anything, anything you will say is a lie. I will never ever deal with this company again.

Negative experience: We used Barron’s to manage our home while we were stationed abroad. You’d think in a military town they would understand the challenges of different time zones, the stress of being continents away and the amount of trust we had in this company for taking care of “our biggest investment” (their words not ours). Unfortunately they were incompetent at best and just apathetic and possible spiteful at worst. The vendors they suggested were always too high. We ended up recruiting a family member to help coordinate repairs. There was one person in the office we could chat with, I can’t remember her name but she was always kind. But if we couldn’t connect with her communication was always a struggle. Occasional Email and updates on Friday afternoons. Often treated like we were a bother rather than a paying client. By the time we returned stateside our house was destroyed by our tenant- someone we were told they company knew personally. We had to repair door frames, refinish our floor, pay to have their stuff removed. We were also charged $400 to clean our house and given a low effort word document as a receipt- another scam likely as we had to pay to have it cleaned again. The owner of this company is a nice person but doesn’t even live in Pensacola for most of the year and has this as a defense when we spoke about all the mishaps.I felt I could trust this person, I believed him when he said our home would be well cared for while we were away and this was just not true. It was a very good lesson for me. It’s taken me a few years to write this review bc of the amount of stress and anxiety we experienced in the process. If you’re looking for a company to manage your house I would recommend looking else where, interview a lot of companies and be selective. Let our experience be your lesson.

Fantastic experience: I am in the process of relocating long distance and looked to Barrons Property Managers for assistance. Despite the fact that there were no rental properties meeting my criteria (for now), I found Barrons to be extremely professional, informative, and friendly. Their website was a useful tool as well. I truly hope to do business with them in the future!!

Negative experience: Well it was an awful experience with this company. Before moving in we noticed a water spot on the ceiling. We put it on the move in checklist along with following up nothing happened. After hurricane Sally it got extremely bad. Repeated work orders and telephone calls got ignored. They said they were “contacting the owner of the house”. Apparently they weren’t allowed to do anything. After a month or so of us living with mold they sent out a roofer to do estimates. In the meantime after we voiced concerns of this being detrimental to our health they said we can take it up with our renters insurance to stay in a hotel. Another few weeks go by and another roofer comes out to do estimates. He says he came out in February to look at the water spot. He was very surprised it was not fixed since he noticed water damage 6 months prior. Few weeks later a 3rd roofer comes out to do estimates. Then a few days later they give us the option to break the lease if we wanted. So they had no intention of ever fixing the roof apparently. We were living there for over 3 months with massive mold spots in the kitchen and master bedroom with an infant. The other pictures are the aftermath of the “repairman” fixing the dog door. He absolutely ruined the baseboards after hacking away at the dog door with all sorts of tools. We sent in pictures and reports but obviously nothing came from that. All the blame was put on the owner for not wanting to do repairs. They took zero responsibility for anything and refused to help in any way. Left it all up to us even though we noted these problems on the prior to move in sheet. Absolutely unacceptable.

Negative experience: BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give negative stars I would. This company operates with SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES and DOES NOT do cleanliness checks, and over quotes on repairs. Stated a tree was down and fence was damaged and that it was going to cost 1500 to fix. There were literally a few branches down after a storm and no damage to fence at all. Ended up paying 300 for all the work to be done. This is a worthless company that didn't ensure the home was move-in ready once renters were out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible company. They will steal your deposit and break the law. Stay away from this company.

Negative experience: They are a horrible evil company. Everyone I dealt with that works there is rude. They won't respond when something is wrong for months. On top of their horrible service, they kept most of my security deposit for things they completely made up. They are thieves. For instance, not to go through the whole list, but we got the carpets professionally cleaned before we left, sent them the receipt, and they listed $250 for carpet cleaning as part of what they kept of the security deposit. If you see a property that says Barons on it, go to the next one. In response to your response. Check your records and you will see a letter we sent in regards to the security deposit, for 1257 Greenview. We have heard nothing back. All of the details are in the letter in how you are basically stealing a good chunk of our deposit for things that are not true.

Negative experience: Truly disappointed with the communication and lack of concern over issues I needed to be handled. I live across the country and had this company manage a property for me. The yard was left overgrown, a shed was placed on property without my knowledge, broken microwave, broken garbage disposal and pet smell in house even though I specifically said no pets. It makes me think there were no inspections completed and I am very upset with the way my property was managed. Be cautious with this company!

Fantastic experience: I've used Barron's property management for a year. The team at Barron's was always courteous, responsive and flexible with my needs as the property owner. They did a nice job assisting with an appliance overhaul and worked with me and the tenant as their lease was expiring. All considered I would use this company again.

Fantastic experience: I think this is a phenomenal company to deal with! I'm moving to Milton, FL., from Nashville, TN and from beginning to end, the staff has been helpful in every sense of the word. They were very patient with me (being out of town) and they worked with me every step of the way. The team is very responsive and polite. My new home is beautiful and the few issues I had with the home were addressed and fixed IMMEDIATELY. It can't get any better than that. I would recommend Barrons to anyone in the area looking for a home. I will do another review in one year at the end of my lease but for now, I'm happy.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They will not maintain your property. Use vendors that will gouge you and are generally not helpful or friendly to work with. They failed to maintain my property resulting in losing a tenant because of a leak in the roof. They then sourced two bids that were over inflated prices for an entire new roof, when there was no way to assess the damage because there was 3 years of debris on the roof from near by trees. There staff is rude, and will not do anything with out having to push them multiple times. Once I finally fired them they refused to turn over the documents on my property. It's never ending with these people. In addition there are multiple comments on here praising them from their own staff. AVOID!!!!

Negative experience: The two years we rented from Barrons was frustrating to say the least. We would inform them of problems only to get nonsensical answers as if they didn’t know who we were despite the inclusion of our names and rented address in the emails. We paid two nonrefundable pet deposits for two pets. What was this used for? Who knows. We had to pay for carpet cleaning and flea treatment upon moving from the property (a cost of $325). We were also informed that we would lose nearly $200 of our deposit for touch up painting. Never in my life have I had to pay for touch up paint as it is considered to be expected wear and tear by almost every other renter I’ve encountered. In addition, our lease agreement exclusively states that we were NOT to do any painting on the property unless we had special permission in writing and had the paint approved. I don’t think anyone would expect a charge for something they were exclusively discouraged from doing. The email telling us about the charge literally said “a little touch up painting”. In what world is that nearly $200?!? The last two years have been endless confusing frustrations like this. Thank god we’re finally out!

Fantastic experience: My husband I have contracted with Barron's Property Managers for the last 3 years. We have had no problems with the tenants they have chosen to lease our home. They check their background and realize the importance of choosing tenants that will take care of our beautiful home. Any time their is a need for repair they take care of it promptly and at a reasonable price. We receive a report each month and at the end of the year it makes it simple for us to prepare our tax returns. I currently have excellent tenants in our home and will continue to use Barron's Realty to manage our property.
