Experiencia negativa: My experience with Toni was a very horrible one. Three of us met with her to tour a home. We all loved it and decided we all wanted to split it 3 ways and all 3 names on the lease. One friend as main name on lease and my other friend and I on the lease as occupants. However, this is not what happened. Somewhere between the time of us filling our information out on the computer with male friend, the female friend and I went to get her part of the deposit and 1st months rent. While we were gone, all our information was removed as per his conversation with Toni. Female friend and I found out a week later when the water was turned off at the residence. Male friend went to home improvement store to get a water meter key, came home and turned it back on. Once female friend and I found out we had been scammed, we tried everything we could to get ahold of Toni to let her know what was going on and she would not return phone calls or texts, as we weren't on the lease. When it came time to pay the rent, which we withheld from the male friend, as we wanted legal proof we lived at the residence. One we withheld the rent. Male friend tried to cut the power. Toni advised him that that was against the law, but he could turn the AC off and remove the thermostat. However, after doing some research, that too is against the law. Come to find out, and we have it recorded, male friend never had his background check done, as his monetary credentials were amazing. If background check had been done, he would never have been allowed to rent the property as he is a felon in multiple states. The last time I called Toni and she did not answer, I called the office for Osborne Hays. The little lady that answered the phone was very nice and tried to help out the best she could, until she made a phone call to Toni. When she got back on the line with me, she wouldn't speak with me anymore and would only speak with the male friend. I get it, just her job since I wasn't listed on the lease. However, as I am on the phone, Toni calls back and in a very rude tone asked for me by name. I responded "Yes", and she proceeded to chew me a new one. Telling me how it was going to be. I stopped her and let her know that she would not talk to me in that manner as I was not her child or one of her tenants, as she fixed that at the beginning of the entire transaction. Had she done background checks she would have found the male friend was not qualified and the female friend and I were. Since this has all taken place, the female friend and I are now homeless as we can't afford another place because we put the last of our income tax money in with this man to get this home. We are single moms just trying to provide a better quality environment and neighborhood for our children.

My name is Marilyn, and this is my testimonial: After having left the Shreveport-Bossier area over 20 years ago for employment, I began to look for a home in Shreveport to be closer to my parents. I reached out to two area realtors who contacted me “once,” and then failed to provide follow-up. I saw Christie Bevel advertised as a realtor on the internet and decided to reach out. “That same day” she contacted me. I provided her a description of the basics that I wanted in a home, and she took it and ran with it.
