Experiencia fantástica: I stayed at one of their properties for a little over 2 years, and I can honestly say it was the best rent money I’ve ever spent. The staff was always kind, understanding, and respectful. Unfortunately, I found out my wife was cheating, and I had to move unexpectedly. They were incredibly compassionate about my situation and did me a huge favor by helping me break my lease without making an already difficult time even harder. I truly wish I could give them 10 stars. Seriously, I loved living here and will always appreciate how they treated me.

The entire process was remarkably efficient and handled with utmost professionalism. After moving in, we encountered a few minor issues with the AC, a small water leak, and non-functioning light fixtures in one of the rooms. I submitted the maintenance request online on a Saturday, and without any delay, they promptly followed up to resolve the issues. This company truly shines with its 5-star service and our family is absolutely delighted with their exceptional support. Experiencia negativa: They don't like to fix things that break down in your house . They try and use scare tactics when it's time to renew your lease. I wouldn't recommend renting from them at all. I was never late on my rent for 2 years straight paying $600 light bills in the summer due to the central unit needed replaced, and they kept lying like they were going to resolve the issue. I'm no longer there.

Experiencia negativa: Sometimes, we are lucky enough to see how a company conducts itself from the beginning. This is one of those times. If you value your time, do not do business with this company. They will set up appointments with you, then not actually arrive at all, then proceed to blame you for their not being there. Edit: Original review was posted in 2024. The likelihood of this company having any records of my attempting to visit one of their properties for an appointment related viewing almost 2 years later is extremely unlikely. Buyer/renter beware. In case they delete their comment after reviewing my update: Response from the owner Micah, the review of texts between yourself and the agent tell a different story. We hate we couldn't get you approved and into that home but wish you the best.

They always answer the phone and are really helpful which is a plus, most people can’t answer their phones! The team there is just a joy.

Experiencia fantástica: When my “private” landlord sold his property 3 years ago, I was nervous and worried about who would become my new landlord. I have absolutely NOTHING but great things to say about My Rental Property! They are by far the best landlords I’ve ever had. I’ve had no complaints whatsoever and if I need anything repaired, they’re on top of it. Most of all they’re caring and understanding! I lost my job of 14 years last May and was out of work for almost a year. When I tell you they were so understanding and helpful….they even gave me a list of places that would provide helped, that they’ve used before. They were willing to work with me, when most landlords would’ve just evicted you. As long as you’re honest, let them know what’s going on and aren’t damaging their property….they’ll go that extra mile for you. I will forever be thankful and grateful for all they’ve done for me! They truly are THE BEST rental agents in town!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have a supremely nightmare experience at my last rental with Mayco, so I wasn’t expecting a lot out of My Property Manager. There are no words for how pleasantly surprised I have been. They are super responsive and seem to actually want to help their tenants. Every time there has been an emergency maintenance issue someone is out here lickety-split to help. My landlord is also great, which is a big part of it, but this management company is one I would vouch for it any day of the week.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible experience with My Property Manager. Was discussing with them for quite some time about a house. Finally drove in from Dallas to view the house and the “Self-Showing box” did not have a key in it to enter the house. Had to drive back to Louisiana from Dallas again the following week to view the house. When ready to move forward with the process, My Property Manager completely disregarded our opinions/offers and moved on to another offer in an extremely unprofessional way. When we finally were told they gave the house to someone else after us dealing with it for weeks…we were simply told “Good luck finding your next home”. And that was it. I would never recommend using or even contacting My Property Manager. Horrible experience and horrible company.

Experiencia negativa: Sends letters for bogus HOA violations without any proof. Does not include any evidence of the violations, just the line that "The HOA management company completed the monthly drive through of the neighborhood on [date]." Do I really have to drive across town to yell at these guys in person?! I've never violated any guidelines, so I'd really like to see the evidence. I have my own evidence from cameras on my property. What's the option for you to correct your records on my property?

Experiencia negativa: Drove an hour to go see a house via “self viewing” and when we got there, there was no key in the lockbox that they provided the code for. We sent a picture of the empty lockbox and the person we were texting never responded back. It’s obvious that they don’t check their properties regularly or else they would’ve known the key was missing beforehand. Very upset that our time and gas was wasted. Would not recommend. Edit: They responded saying that it’s the wrong company when it indeed isn’t & I have the emails to prove it. Of course we’re not tenants because we left after your representative stopped responding to us. We had small children in the car with us. & we never received any follow ups from anyone. We would never apply for an irresponsible company again. This is a cover up to make me sound incompetent so they don’t take responsibility.

Experiencia negativa: I went to see the property and when I put the address in ny GPS it directed me to a different house, I was finally able to locate the correct house, I had only had a virtual tour, however when I did a physical viewing the house was filthy and was not move in ready . When I asked the person who was responsible to get the house move in ready she hung up on me

Experiencia negativa: Rented from this company for almost a year, we had to leave a month early to move for work. At first the company was extremely understanding of this. Multiple employees were very kind! We were even OFFERED prorated rent (in writing), which is very generous and uncommon. We felt very appreciative! We were surprised the entire amount of prorated rent was not returned…we reached out thinking it was surely a mistake, we were quickly made aware it was not. We were disregarded, hung up on, and our money will not be returned. There are many great rental company options in Shreveport, I do not recommend this one.

I’ve tried many other property management platforms, and My Property Manager uses a common-sense approach to the golden rule: do unto others as you’d have them do to you…and that applies to properties, tenants, and landlords. His hard work and polite professionalism combine with a no-nonsense approach to taking care of you and your property. I’d recommend him above all every single day.

He got the house for a good price, we did the repairs in about a week, and he found tenants for it in a pretty short time frame. He communicates well and the money is always in my account within the first few days of the month. I highly recommend him. I've sent several other people to him and he's done right by everyone.
