Experiencia positiva: I would say more of a 4+ imo only because my house took a while longer to sell about 5 months. There were a lot of macroeconomics affecting things such as the election and economic uncertainty. I had a couple buyers back out of my transaction and we didn't have an open house. However I did feel that Justin was very communicative, responsive, attentive, and prompt with all of my questions. It took patience to find the buyer for my home but finally found one in the end. I would recommend AR to others interested in selling their home. Thanks for all of your help Justin and getting me thru the finish line! :)

They were very proactive in their transaction and their transaction coordinator Teasa Phalen was awesome. Experiencia negativa: Terrible realtor, possibly even criminal. Justin does not fulfill his end of the deal. He will list your house on Zillow and put a sign in your yard, and if you're lucky, one of his agents will put up some signs down the street during open houses. He gets paid to sit in your house and have his agents sit in your house, and doesn't actually have much incentive to sell the property, as he's getting paid regardless. Now, for the nightmare that is doing business with this man. He was personally there for one open house out of around a dozen. Hardly any advertising was done and, as a result, over the course of four hours, less than a handful of people showed up. Now, imagine this, but with a new agent every weekend and even some weekdays for months starting in the peak of summer. You're forced to leave your house for hours at a time and sweat under the hot sun while the man who has sent (someone who looks like) a teenager to sit in your house is getting paid to do basically nothing. Often, you will come back to your home, and notice that some things look different. Not saying that they steal your possessions, just that you might come back home and notice that several walls have been splattered with something brown. The agent might not have done that, and I don't think it was feces since it didn't smell, but it still looked disgusting and possibly threw off some potential buyers. Oh well, if no one buys the house after a week, Justin will just suggest dropping the price. He won't actually work harder to sell your home since he doesn't have to, so he'll just do the easiest, laziest thing, which is dropping the price until it sells. Honestly, if you're looking to buy a house, you could just find one that Justin's selling and wait a few months for the price to drop hundreds of thousands of dollars. If you want your house to sell quickly and for a substantial profit, take your business elsewhere.

Most hear that they are with their Brokerage because "they care", but I am a true testament to a Brokerage who doesn't 'just care', but actually listens and creates a foundation to grow. Active Realty truly goes over and beyond for their Agent partners. They have been able to teach me systems, connect me with vendor partners and show me how to take my team in San Diego to a new level of success. Justin and Suzanne are amazing Brokers and now friends of mine. I will forever be grateful for their partnership and commitment to others.

Experiencia negativa: WORST COMPANY EVER. RUN!!! As fast as you possibly can LISA VAN TIENEN IS A LIAR. SHE WILL SCREW YOU OUT OF MONEY AND NOT THINK TWICE. She lied to us on multiple occasions and refused to let us out of the listing agreement. Do NOT SIGN A THIBG WITH THEM. My husband and I called the Active Realty office a million times with no callback. They only want your money and couldn't care less about customer service. She walked away with a 15K commission and we had to conducted multiple open houses on our own. She is very unprofessional. And the day of closing she sent us this message. "Correct & please be aware that you never received a seller in place agreement from the buyers so you do not have two weeks past the close of escrow to move. We were trying to work out something where I or Jon paid buyers for your rent back however that's just not gonna work out so you have close of escrow +3 days to hand over keys." Meanwhile she told us the entire time we were in escrow we would have 2 full weeks to move out. The VERY NEXT MESSAGE AFTER WE CONFIRMED WE SIGNED THE DOCUMENT SHE SENT THAT MESSAGE. Jon Millhouse is another realtor on the buyers end told us that she is the worst realtor he's ever worked for!!!! All parties involved agree she lacks professionalism and experience. Do not waste your time here. Still waiting on a callback from Justin at Active Realty. Not holding my breathe. I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS!!!

Experiencia negativa: I bought a house and these guys were agents and had horrible wxperience… Stay away if you can… For a week I’m calling to return keys of the front door which they took with lock boxes. They said to deliver second garage remote but nothing for more than week. I’m desparately calling to get mailbox keys and they started not answering my calls. They left banner house for sale and have it in my garage not bothering to come and pick it up. So causing a lot of trouble…

Experiencia negativa: I had the misfortune of dealing with these clowns on two different properties. Their agents never return phone calls or voicemails; and I mean NEVER. I couldn’t believe that a licensed real estate agent could literally be this useless, but these people took the crown. I didn’t believe my agent when he said they were total deadbeats, so I actually called myself. I left their agent a text and two voicemails. They still have yet to call me after a week. They are the undisputed kings and queens of pathetic communication skills and the epitome of what you do not want in your agent. If you see a property with them listed as an agent, just walk away and find another. If you were ignorant and actually signed them to sell your property, cancel and run! You’ve been warned.

Active Realty is very high tech with online transactions, signatures and virtual notary. Wow! Times have really changed since the old MLS days and those funny signs outside on your lawn.

We were moving in from across the country, so it was important I worked with someone who knows the twin, understands our needs, and could work actively on our schedule to find the right "forever home" for us. They hit the for us! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy in this area.

Experiencia negativa: Beware these people will string you along and waste your time. We attempted to purchase one of the homes they had for sale. We offered the full asking price of the home, we were already pre-approved by our lender. They accepted our offer with the condition that we get cross qualified by their loan officer. No problem, we are a strong buyer with over 50% down and 800+ credit, so we had our loan officer get in touch with their loan person. That's when the troubles began. We provided all requested information for the cross qualification and were told that we were approved. Suddenly they ghosted us, their agent would no longer answer our phone calls, nothing. Finally, they called back and told our agent that we were rejected because we took over 5 days to provide information for the cross qualification. This is BS we provided all information same day as requested until they stopped answering phone calls. They strung us along and wasted our time, probably while waiting for another higher offer to come along. Absolutely dishonest, not deserving of your business. I advise you to look elsewhere.
