Experiencia fantástica: Jenn was so freaking wonderful during our whole home buying process. My sister and I were looking for a duplex and the first time going out to look at homes, we fell in love with one that we thought was going to be out of our reach. Jenn made it happen. This is the first home we've ever bought and Jenn was so kind and patient, answering all of our questions, even the ones we thought might be dumb. Our jobs aren't the normal 9-5, but she was always available for us, even on a Friday night when she was out with friends, and even if she didn't have the answers right then, she was on top of communicating with us and letting us know she'd find the answers for us. The whole process was just so seamless with Jenn, she knew what it would take negotiating with the sellers to get us a good deal on our new home. I can't say enough good things about Jenn and Grey Duck Properties. Joe seemed available anytime - always responsive, offering market insights and other updates. It felt like I was their only client. He took the nerves out, plus we had laughs previewing houses, as a prospective buyer. When it was offer time, he absolutely crushed! Negotiated the exact deal I sought, within hours. As well, Adrian was the perfect agent to tour with. He was so knowledgeable and attentive to the infrastructure of a house. With him I could toss any idea -- what about adding a bathroom here, how could I soundproof a room, what's the condition of this AC - and get a feel for the cost. It never felt like working with a sales person, he was perfectly honest and transparent and always positive. He seemed excited every time we viewed a house, and we'd sometimes hang around for an hour chatting. He even did mini detective work, chatting with the county about future construction projects. Everything was above and beyond. Maggie was perfectly on the ball with coordinating any documents and requests through closing. Thanks Grey Duck for helping me find the perfect home! I will have to buy another one so we can hang out again!

They got us out of a tight spot with an investment that went over its timeline, and we made over $20K more than we originally projected. He made good connections with our seller's agent which helped us win the seller' over even though there were 3 better offers (and 7 worse offers than ours). He was patient and explained many aspects of the home-buying process and inspection process that we did not have any prior knowledge of. He gave us good advice on how to be competitive so we could get our house in an aggressive market. We also like Chris who showed the houses to us around St Paul. He brought knowledge about furnaces, heaters, fuse boxes, and features to look out for in the market. They were both very patient with us as we navigated our way in the market to find a good location to buy our first home.

Experiencia fantástica: Karla has been a brilliant partner and fantastically professional realtor during an unexpected house purchasing process. We went from "oh, let's fix up our house first and sell it" to finding our dream house after only looking at three! We had set up the algorithm, toured two houses, tweaked the algorithm, and literally the next house was the unicorn we didn't think existed. The seller's agent was, uhh, less than on top of things, the sellers were a disaster, and the TCF/Huntington bank merger caused no end of problems with the mortgage... but Karla was a steady hand, advocate, and compassionate ear through it all. I always knew I could call her if I felt things were getting out of hand or confused or just needed to rant. We would highly recommend Karla and the team to anyone looking to purchase a house, and we are looking forward to working with her again to sell our old house soon!
