His knowledge and expertise allowed us to list our home and sell within a couple days above our original asking price. He guided us through the entire process and made it easy. Negative experience: I do not recommend working with Alexander Skowron or Christie Realty. Christie Realty represented me in a buyer's contract. Christie Realty recommended a licensed general contractor for suggested repairs prior to closing. The seller's counteroffered with a fraudulent, unlicensed contractor, and cheaper contractor which obviously meant putting more money in the realtors' pockets. Christie Realty didn't bother looking that counteroffer contractor up to verify their legitimacy and looking out for my interest. Instead, I felt pressured by them as an inexperienced homeowner to accept and move forward with the unknowingly fraudulent contractor and agreement so as to not lose out on the sale, especially with limited inventory and qualification opportunities under FHA in the Los Angeles area.

Over the course of 40- plus years we have sold 9 homes, and we can say without hesitation that Stephen Christie is far and away the best realtor we have dealt with. I like to think of Stephen as a “thinking” person’s realtor. Stephen leaves nothing to chance and employs a comprehensive strategy for selling a home. This strategy begins with an HONEST appraisal of a home’s current market value (rather than a pie-in-the-sky estimate) and then proceeds with an extensive marketing plan, including a “coming soon” listing to generate interest, extensive exposure via social media (both domestically and internationally), and even a door to door campaign to notify the residents in your neighborhood of the pending listing in case a friend or relative might be interested in purchasing your home. As a result of this strategy, we had over 50 parties tour our home the first weekend after our listing went active, and received four offers shortly thereafter. Stephen then went to work using his negotiating skills to obtain the best price for our home ( which was well above asking!) If all this sounds like a paid advertisement for Christie Realty, I assure you it Isn’t - just the response of a very satisfied seller…

We’ve never encountered a more can-do individual than Stephen Christie, and we would surely require more than 5 stars to adequately rate our experience with both Stephen Christie and Jessica Turell. Fantastic experience: The house buying/selling process is very stressful. Stephen, Jessica, and Janssen made it such an amazing experience.
