Experiencia negativa: We closed on a house where Heidi was the listing agent. She had another agent show us the house. Heidi never called us after either of our 2 showings. We submitted an offer and got rebuffed. Fortunately we knew a relative of the seller, so we made contact with him. It didn’t sound like she had shared the details of our cash offer with him. So we agreed a price without her. At closing she tried to charge us an agent fee even though we didn’t have one (and definitely didn’t want her representing us). She took her full 3% from the seller and he also paid an extra 1% to the agent she had do the showings. We closed at $587K. When the seller listed it with Heidi, their asking price was ~$775K. For the next year Heidi listed it down almost monthly to $620K. So after massive discounting, inflicting 4% sales commission, by not showing the house herself, and not reaching out to prospective buyers, I think Heidi rinsed her client. I’d want my selling agent to actually do something to earn her 3%.
